I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

În ziua necazului meu, caut pe Domnul; noaptea, mâinile îmi stau întinse fără curmare; sufletul meu nu vrea nicio mângâiere.

I cry aloud to God, aloud to God, and he will hear me.

Nyomorúságom idején az Urat keresem, kezem éjjel is szüntelenül felé tárom, lelkem nem akar vigasztalódni.

I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

Mi-aduc aminte de Dumnezeu şi gem; mă gândesc adânc în mine şi mi se mâhneşte duhul. – (Oprire)

In the day of my trouble I seek the Lord; in the night my hand is stretched out without wearying; my soul refuses to be comforted.

When I remember God, I moan; when I meditate, my spirit faints. Selah

I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

You hold my eyelids open; I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

Mă gândesc la cântările mele noaptea, cuget adânc înăuntrul inimii mele, îmi cade duhul pe gânduri şi zic:

I consider the days of old, the years long ago.

Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

„Va lepăda Domnul pentru totdeauna? Şi nu va mai fi El binevoitor?

I said, “Let me remember my song in the night; let me meditate in my heart.” Then my spirit made a diligent search:

vajon örökre elvet-e az Úr, és nem lesz többé jóakarattal?

Is his mercy clean gone for ever? doth his promise fail for evermore?

S-a isprăvit bunătatea Lui pe vecie? S-a dus făgăduinţa Lui pentru totdeauna?

“Will the Lord spurn forever, and never again be favorable?

Vajon végképp elfogyott kegyelme? Semmivé lesz nemzedékről nemzedékre szálló ígérete?

Avagy végképen elfogyott-é az ő kegyelme? vagy megszűnik-é igérete nemzedékről nemzedékre?

Hath God forgotten to be gracious? hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

A uitat Dumnezeu să aibă milă? Şi-a tras El, în mânia Lui, înapoi îndurarea?” – (Oprire)

Has his steadfast love forever ceased? Are his promises at an end for all time?

Vajon elfelejtett könyörületes lenni Isten? Vagy haragja feltartóztatja irgalmát? [Szela]

Avagy elfelejtkezett-é könyörülni Isten? avagy elzárta-é haragjában az ő irgalmát? Szela.

And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?” Selah

Azt gondoltam: Az az én bajom, hogy a Fölséges jobbja megváltozott.

És mondám: Ez az én betegségem, hogy a Fölségesnek jobbja megváltozott.

I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember thy wonders of old.

Dar tot voi lăuda lucrările Domnului, căci îmi aduc aminte de minunile Tale de odinioară;

Then I said, “I will appeal to this, to the years of the right hand of the Most High.”

I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your wonders of old.

Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

Dumnezeule, căile Tale sunt sfinte! Care dumnezeu este mare ca Dumnezeul nostru?

I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.

Istenem, szent a te utad, ki olyan nagy Isten, mint a mi Istenünk?

Oh Isten, a te utad szentséges; kicsoda olyan nagy Isten, mint az Isten?

Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people.

Tu eşti Dumnezeul care faci minuni; Tu Ţi-ai arătat puterea printre popoare.

Your way, O God, is holy. What god is great like our God?

Te vagy az Isten, aki csodát művelsz, megmutattad hatalmadat a népek között.

Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Prin braţul Tău, Tu ai izbăvit pe poporul Tău, pe fiii lui Iacov şi ai lui Iosif. (Oprire)

You are the God who works wonders; you have made known your might among the peoples.

The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

Tunetul Tău a izbucnit în vârtej de vânt, fulgerele au luminat lumea, pământul s-a mişcat şi s-a cutremurat.

The clouds poured out water; the skies gave forth thunder; your arrows flashed on every side.

The crash of your thunder was in the whirlwind; your lightnings lighted up the world; the earth trembled and shook.

Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Ai povăţuit pe poporul Tău ca pe o turmă, prin mâna lui Moise şi Aaron.

Your way was through the sea, your path through the great waters; yet your footprints were unseen.
