Az éneklőmesternek a mahalathra, Dávid tanítása.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

Nebunul zice în inima lui: „Nu este Dumnezeu!” S-au stricat oamenii, au săvârşit fărădelegi urâte, nu este niciunul care să facă binele.

A bolond azt mondja szívében, hogy nincs Isten. Megromlottak, és utálatos hamisságot cselekszenek, nincs, aki jót cselekedjék.

Ezt mondta a balgatag az ő szívében: Nincs Isten. Megromlottak és útálatos hamisságot cselekedtek, nincs a ki jót cselekedjék.

God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

Dumnezeu Se uită de la înălţimea cerurilor peste fiii oamenilor, ca să vadă dacă este cineva care să fie priceput şi să caute pe Dumnezeu.

The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good.

Isten letekint a mennyből az emberek fiaira, hogy lássa, van-e közöttük értelmes, aki keresi Istent.

Isten letekint a mennyből az emberek fiaira, hogy meglássa, ha van-é értelmes, Istent kereső?

Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Dar toţi s-au rătăcit, toţi s-au stricat; nu este niciunul care să facă binele, niciunul măcar.

God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God.

Mindnyájan elhajlottak, és valamennyien megromlottak. Nincsen, aki jót cselekedjen, nincsen még egy sem.

Mindnyájan elhajlottak, és valamennyien megromlottak, nincsen a ki jót cselekedjék, nincsen csak egy is.

Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.

„Şi-au pierdut oare mintea cei ce săvârşesc nelegiuirea, de mănâncă pe poporul Meu cum mănâncă pâinea, şi nu cheamă pe Dumnezeu?”

They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.

Hát nem okulnak a hamisan cselekvők, akik úgy eszik népemet, mintha kenyeret ennének, akik nem hívják segítségül Istent?

Avagy nincs értelem a hamisságnak cselekvőiben, a kik az én népemet megeszik, mintha kenyeret ennének, a kik az Istent segítségül nem hívják?

There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God hath scattered the bones of him that encampeth against thee: thou hast put them to shame, because God hath despised them.

Atunci vor tremura de spaimă, fără să fie vreo pricină de spaimă; Dumnezeu va risipi oasele celor ce tăbărăsc împotriva ta, îi vei face de ruşine, căci Dumnezeu i-a lepădat.

Have those who work evil no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon God?

Ott félnek majd nagy félelemmel, ahol nincs félnivaló, mert Isten szétszórja azok csontjait, akik ellened támadtak. Megszégyeníted azokat, mert Isten megvetette őket.

Ott félnek [nagy] félelemmel, a hol nincsen félelem; mert az Isten elszéleszti azoknak tetemeit, a kik tábort járnak ellened; megszégyeníted azokat, mert az Isten megveti őket.

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

O! cine va face să pornească din Sion izbăvirea lui Israel? Când va aduce Dumnezeu înapoi pe prinşii de război ai poporului Său, Iacov se va înveseli, şi Israel se va bucura.

There they are, in great terror, where there is no terror! For God scatters the bones of him who encamps against you; you put them to shame, for God has rejected them.

Ó, bárcsak eljönne a Sionról Izráel szabadulása! Örül majd Jákób, és vigad Izráel, amikor az Úr jóra fordítja népe sorsát.

[Oh, vajha eljönne Sionból Izráelnek a szabadítás! Mikor az Úr visszahozza az ő népének foglyait, örül majd Jákób és vigad Izráel!]
