Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;

Scapă-mă, Doamne, de oamenii cei răi! Păzeşte-mă de oamenii asupritori,

Szabadíts meg, URam, a gonosz emberektől, védj meg engem az erőszakos férfiaktól,

Szabadíts meg engem, Uram, a gonosz embertől; a zsarnok férfitól védj meg engemet!

Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

care cugetă lucruri rele în inima lor şi sunt totdeauna gata să aţâţe războiul!

Deliver me, O LORD, from evil men; preserve me from violent men,

akik gonoszt gondolnak szívükben, és mindennap háborúságot keltenek.

A kik gonoszt gondolnak szívökben, [és] minden nap háborút kezdenek.

They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

Ei îşi ascut limba ca un şarpe, au pe buze o otravă de năpârcă. – (Oprire)

who plan evil things in their heart and stir up wars continually.

Nyelvüket élesítik, mint a kígyó, vipera mérge van ajkukon. [Szela]

Nyelvöket élesítik, mint a kígyó; áspiskígyó mérge van ajkaik alatt. Szela.

Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

Păzeşte-mă, Doamne, de mâinile celui rău! Fereşte-mă de oamenii asupritori, care se gândesc să mă doboare!

They make their tongue sharp as a serpent’s, and under their lips is the venom of asps. Selah

Ments meg, URam, a gonoszok kezétől, védj meg engem az erőszakos férfiaktól, akik jártomban el akarnak buktatni.

Ments meg, oh Uram, a gonosz kezétől; a zsarnok férfitól védj meg engemet! A kik megejteni szándékoznak lépéseimet.

The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.

Nişte îngâmfaţi îmi întind curse şi laţuri, pun reţele de-a lungul drumului şi îmi întind capcane. – (Oprire)

Guard me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from violent men, who have planned to trip up my feet.

Tőrt vetettek nekem titokban a kevélyek, köteleket és hálót terítettek ösvényem szélére, csapdát állítottak nekem! [Szela]

Tőrt hánytak elém titkon a kevélyek és köteleket; hálót terítettek ösvényem szélére, hurkokat vetettek elém! Szela.

I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.

Eu zic Domnului: „Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu! Ia aminte, Doamne, la glasul rugăciunilor mele!

The arrogant have hidden a trap for me, and with cords they have spread a net; beside the way they have set snares for me. Selah

Azt mondtam az ÚRnak: Te vagy Istenem! Hallgasd meg, URam, könyörgésem hangját!

Mondám az Úrnak: Istenem vagy te! Hallgasd meg Uram könyörgésem szavát!

O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

Doamne Dumnezeule, tăria mântuirii mele, Tu-mi acoperi capul în ziua luptei.”

I say to the LORD, You are my God; give ear to the voice of my pleas for mercy, O LORD!

Én URam Istenem, erős szabadítóm, te oltalmazod fejemet a háborúság napján!

Én Uram, Istenem, szabadításom ereje: fedezd be fejemet a háború napján!

Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

Nu împlini, Doamne, dorinţele celui rău, nu lăsa să-i izbutească planurile, ca să nu se fălească! – (Oprire)

O LORD, my Lord, the strength of my salvation, you have covered my head in the day of battle.

Ne add meg, URam, amit a gonosz kíván, rossz szándékát ne hagyd beteljesülni, mert fölfuvalkodik! [Szela]

Ne add meg Uram, a mit a gonosz kíván; rossz szándékát ne segítsd elő, mert felfuvalkodik! Szela.

As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

Asupra capului celor ce mă înconjoară să cadă nelegiuirea buzelor lor!

Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked; do not further their evil plot, or they will be exalted! Selah

A körülöttem ólálkodók fejét borítsa el saját ajkuk átka.

A körültem ólálkodóknak fejét borítsa be ajkaiknak átka.

Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

Cărbuni aprinşi să cadă peste ei! În foc să fie aruncaţi, în adâncuri, de unde să nu se mai scoale!

As for the head of those who surround me, let the mischief of their lips overwhelm them!

Hulljon rájuk izzó parázs; vesd őket tűzbe és verembe, hogy föl ne kelhessenek!

Eleven szenek hulljanak reájok; tűzbe vesse őket, örvényekbe, fel ne keljenek!

Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

Omul cu limba mincinoasă nu se întăreşte pe pământ, şi pe omul asupritor, nenorocirea îl paşte şi-l duce la pierzare.

Let burning coals fall upon them! Let them be cast into fire, into miry pits, no more to rise!

A rágalmazó ne maradjon meg a földön, a zsarnok embert üldözze a veszedelem, amíg össze nem esik.

A nyelves ember meg ne maradjon e földön; a zsarnok embert űzze a veszedelem, míg nyaka szakad.

I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

Ştiu că Domnul face dreptate celui asuprit, dreptate, celor lipsiţi.

Let not the slanderer be established in the land; let evil hunt down the violent man speedily!

Tudom, hogy az ÚR fölkarolja a szegények ügyét, a nyomorultak jogát.

Tudom, hogy felfogja az Úr a szegények ügyét, a nyomorultaknak jogát.

Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

Da, cei neprihăniţi vor lăuda Numele Tău, oamenii fără prihană vor locui înaintea Ta.

I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and will execute justice for the needy.
