[Mózesnek, Isten emberének imádsága.] Uram, te voltál hajlékunk nemzedékről nemzedékre.

Mózesnek, az Isten emberének imádsága. Uram, te voltál nékünk hajlékunk nemzedékről nemzedékre!

Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

Doamne, Tu ai fost locul nostru de adăpost, din neam în neam.

Mielőtt hegyek lettek, mielőtt a föld és a világ formáltatott, öröktől fogva mindörökké vagy te, Istenem.

Minekelőtte hegyek lettek és föld és világ formáltaték, öröktől fogva mindörökké te vagy Isten.

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Înainte ca să se fi născut munţii şi înainte ca să se fi făcut pământul şi lumea, din veşnicie în veşnicie, Tu eşti Dumnezeu!

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

Tu întorci pe oameni în ţărână şi zici: „Întoarceţi-vă, fiii oamenilor!”

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

You return man to dust and say, “Return, O children of man!”

Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.

Bizony megemészt minket haragod, és megrettenünk fölindulásod miatt.

Bizony megemésztetünk a te haragod által, és a te búsulásod miatt megromlunk!

For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

Noi suntem mistuiţi de mânia Ta şi îngroziţi de urgia Ta.

in the morning it flourishes and is renewed; in the evening it fades and withers.

Magad elé vetetted álnokságainkat; titkos bűneinket arcod világa elé.

Elédbe vetetted a mi álnokságainkat; titkos bűneinket a te orczádnak világa elé.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Tu pui înaintea Ta nelegiuirile noastre şi scoţi la lumina feţei Tale păcatele noastre cele ascunse.

For we are brought to an end by your anger; by your wrath we are dismayed.

Bizony elmúlik minden napunk fölindulásod miatt; tovatűnnek éveink, mint egy sóhaj.

Bizony elmúlik minden mi napunk a te bosszúállásod miatt; megemésztjük a mi esztendeinket, mint a beszédet.

For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Toate zilele noastre pier de urgia Ta, vedem cum ni se duc anii ca un sunet.

You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.

Életünk ideje hetven esztendő, vagy ha több, nyolcvan esztendő, és nagyobb részük fáradság és keserűség, amely gyorsan elszáll, mintha repülnénk.

A mi esztendeinknek napjai hetven esztendő, vagy ha feljebb, nyolczvan esztendő, és nagyobb részök nyomorúság és fáradság, a mely gyorsan tovatünik, mintha repülnénk.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Anii vieţii noastre se ridică la şaptezeci de ani, iar, pentru cei mai tari, la optzeci de ani; şi lucrul cu care se mândreşte omul în timpul lor nu este decât trudă şi durere, căci trece iute, şi noi zburăm.

For all our days pass away under your wrath; we bring our years to an end like a sigh.

Ki tudhatja a te haragodnak erejét, és a te félelmetességed szerint való bosszúállásodat?

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

Dar cine ia seama la tăria mâniei Tale şi la urgia Ta, aşa cum se cuvine să se teamă de Tine?

The years of our life are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty; yet their span is but toil and trouble; they are soon gone, and we fly away.

Who considers the power of your anger, and your wrath according to the fear of you?

Térj vissza, URam! Meddig késel? Könyörülj szolgáidon!

Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

Întoarce-Te, Doamne! Până când zăboveşti? Ai milă de robii Tăi!

So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.

O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Satură-ne în fiecare dimineaţă de bunătatea Ta, şi toată viaţa noastră ne vom bucura şi ne vom înveseli.

Return, O LORD! How long? Have pity on your servants!

Örvendeztess meg bennünket nyomorúságunk napjaihoz mérten, azokhoz az esztendőkhöz mérten, amelyekben gonoszt láttunk.

Vidámíts meg minket a mi nyomorúságunk napjaihoz képest, az esztendőkhöz képest, a melyekben gonoszt láttunk.

Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

Înveseleşte-ne tot atâtea zile câte ne-ai smerit, tot atâţia ani cât am văzut nenorocirea!

Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Hadd látszódjék meg műved szolgáidon és dicsőséged az ő fiaikon.

Láttassék meg a te műved a te szolgáidon, és a te dicsőséged azoknak fiain.

Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

Să se arate robilor Tăi lucrarea Ta, şi slava Ta, fiilor lor!

Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, and for as many years as we have seen evil.

Legyen mirajtunk Istenünknek, az Úrnak jóindulata, és kezünk munkáját tedd maradandóvá; kezünk munkáját tedd maradandóvá!

És legyen az Úrnak, a mi Istenünknek jó kedve mi rajtunk, és a mi kezünknek munkáját tedd állandóvá nékünk, és a mi kezünknek munkáját tedd állandóvá!

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

Fie peste noi bunăvoinţa Domnului Dumnezeului nostru! Şi întăreşte lucrarea mâinilor noastre, da, întăreşte lucrarea mâinilor noastre!

Let your work be shown to your servants, and your glorious power to their children.
