Grádicsok éneke. Emlékezzél meg, Uram, Dávid minden nyomorúságáról;

Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:

Doamne, adu-Ţi aminte de David şi de toate necazurile lui!

How he sware unto the LORD, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;

Adu-Ţi aminte cum a jurat el Domnului şi a făcut următoarea juruinţă Puternicului lui Iacov:

Remember, O LORD, in David’s favor, all the hardships he endured,

Nem megyek be lakósátramba, nem fekszem le hálóhelyemen,

Nem megyek be sátoros házamba, nem hágok fel háló-nyoszolyámba;

Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;

„Nu voi intra în cortul în care locuiesc, nu mă voi sui în patul în care mă odihnesc,

how he swore to the LORD and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,

nem engedek szememnek alvást s pilláimnak szenderülést,

Nem bocsátok álmot szemeimre s pilláimra szendert;

I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,

nu voi da somn ochilor mei, nici aţipire pleoapelor mele,

“I will not enter my house or get into my bed,

amíg helyet nem találok az ÚRnak, hajlékot Jákób erős Istenének!

Míg helyet nem találok az Úrnak, Jákób Istenének hajlékot!

Until I find out a place for the LORD, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.

până nu voi găsi un loc pentru Domnul, o locuinţă pentru Puternicul lui Iacov.” –

I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,

Íme, hallottuk, hogy Efratában van, rátaláltunk Jaar mezőin.

Ímé, hallottunk róla Efratában; rátaláltunk Jaar térségein:

Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.

Iată, am auzit vorbindu-se despre el la Efrata, l-am găsit în ogorul Iaar…

until I find a place for the LORD, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

Hadd menjünk be hajlékaiba, hadd boruljunk le lába zsámolyához!

Hadd menjünk be az ő hajlékaiba, boruljunk le lábainak zsámolyához!

We will go into his tabernacles: we will worship at his footstool.

„Haidem la locuinţa Lui, să ne închinăm înaintea aşternutului picioarelor Lui!…

Behold, we heard of it in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar.

Indulj el, URam, nyugvóhelyedre, te és hatalmad ládája!

Indulj Uram, a te nyugvóhelyedre: te és a te hatalmadnak ládája!

Arise, O LORD, into thy rest; thou, and the ark of thy strength.

Scoală-Te, Doamne, vino la locul Tău de odihnă, Tu şi chivotul măreţiei Tale!

“Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool!”

Papjaid öltözködjenek igazságba, kegyeseid pedig ujjongjanak!

Papjaid öltözködjenek igazságba, kegyeltjeid pedig örvendezzenek!

Let thy priests be clothed with righteousness; and let thy saints shout for joy.

Preoţii Tăi să se îmbrace în neprihănire, şi credincioşii Tăi să scoată strigăte de bucurie!

Arise, O LORD, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might.

Szolgádért, Dávidért ne fordulj el fölkentedtől!

Dávidért, a te szolgádért, ne fordulj el felkented színétől!

For thy servant David's sake turn not away the face of thine anointed.

Pentru robul Tău David, nu lepăda pe unsul Tău!” –

Let your priests be clothed with righteousness, and let your saints shout for joy.

Megesküdött az ÚR Dávidnak, hogy bizony nem tér el attól: Vér szerinti utódodat ültetem trónodra.

Hűséget esküdött az Úr Dávidnak, nem tér el attól: Ágyékod gyümölcsét ültetem székedbe;

The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

Domnul a jurat lui David adevărul şi nu Se va întoarce de la ce a jurat: „Voi pune pe scaunul tău de domnie un fiu din trupul tău.

For the sake of your servant David, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.

Ha fiaid megtartják szövetségemet és intelmeimet, amelyekre megtanítom őket, akkor az ő fiaik is trónodon ülhetnek mindvégig.

Ha megtartják fiaid szövetségemet és bizonyságomat, a melyekre megtanítom őket, fiaik is mindörökké székedben ülnek.

If thy children will keep my covenant and my testimony that I shall teach them, their children shall also sit upon thy throne for evermore.

Dacă fiii tăi vor păzi legământul Meu şi învăţăturile Mele pe care li le voi da, vor şedea şi fiii lor în veci pe scaunul tău de domnie.” –

The LORD swore to David a sure oath from which he will not turn back: “One of the sons of your body I will set on your throne.

Mert a Siont választotta ki az ÚR, azt akarta, hogy lakhelye legyen.

Mert a Siont választotta ki az Úr, azt szerette meg magának lakhelyül:

For the LORD hath chosen Zion; he hath desired it for his habitation.

Da, Domnul a ales Sionul, l-a dorit ca locuinţă a Lui şi a zis:

If your sons keep my covenant and my testimonies that I shall teach them, their sons also forever shall sit on your throne.”

Ez lesz nyugvóhelyem örökre, itt lakozom, mert ezt szeretem.

Ez lesz nyugovóhelyem örökre; itt lakozom, mert ezt szeretem;

This is my rest for ever: here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

„Acesta este locul Meu de odihnă pe vecie; voi locui în el, căci l-am dorit.

For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling place:

Gazdagon megáldom eleséggel, szegényeit jóltartom kenyérrel.

Eleséggel megáldom gazdagon, szegényeit jóltartom kenyérrel;

I will abundantly bless her provision: I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Îi voi binecuvânta din belşug hrana, voi sătura cu pâine pe săracii lui.

“This is my resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it.

Papjait fölruházom szabadítással, és vígan örvendeznek kegyesei.

Papjait meg felruházom szabadítással, és vígan örvendeznek kegyeltjei.

I will also clothe her priests with salvation: and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

Voi îmbrăca în mântuire pe preoţii lui, şi credincioşii lui vor scoate strigăte de bucurie.

I will abundantly bless her provisions; I will satisfy her poor with bread.

Megnövelem ott Dávid hatalmát, mécsest szerzek fölkentemnek.

Megnövesztem ott Dávidnak hatalmát, szövétneket szerzek az én felkentemnek.

There will I make the horn of David to bud: I have ordained a lamp for mine anointed.

Acolo voi înălţa puterea lui David, voi pregăti o candelă unsului Meu,

Her priests I will clothe with salvation, and her saints will shout for joy.

His enemies will I clothe with shame: but upon himself shall his crown flourish.

voi îmbrăca cu ruşine pe vrăjmaşii lui, şi peste el va străluci cununa lui.”

There I will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed.
