Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men?

Oare, tăcând, faceţi voi dreptate? Oare aşa judecaţi voi fără părtinire, fiii oamenilor?

Valóban igazat szóltok, ti hatalmasok? Igazságosan ítéltek-e, ti emberek fiai?

Avagy valóban a néma igazságot szólaltatjátok-é meg? Avagy igazán ítéltek-é ti embernek fiai?

Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

Dimpotrivă! în inimă săvârşiţi nelegiuiri; în ţară, puneţi în cumpănă silnicia mâinilor voastre.

Do you indeed decree what is right, you gods? Do you judge the children of man uprightly?

Vagy inkább hamisságot forgattok szívetekben, kezetek hamisan mér e földön?

Sőt inkább hamisságot forgattok a ti szívetekben! a ti kezeiteknek hamisságát méritek e földön.

The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.

Cei răi sunt stricaţi încă din pântecele mamei lor, mincinoşii se rătăcesc odată cu ieşirea din pântecele mamei lor.

No, in your hearts you devise wrongs; your hands deal out violence on earth.

A gonoszok világra jöttük óta pártütők; a hazugok már anyjuk méhétől fogva tévelyegnek.

Mérgük olyan, mint a kígyó mérge; olyanok, mint a süket vipera, amelynek be van zárva a füle.

Ezért nem hallja a varázsló szavát, sem a kígyóbűvölő igézését, aki jártas a varázslásban.

A mely nem hallja a bűbájosoknak szavát, sem a bűvölőét, a ki bűbájakban jártas.

Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

Dumnezeule, zdrobeşte-le dinţii din gură! Smulge, Doamne, măselele acestor pui de lei!

so that it does not hear the voice of charmers or of the cunning enchanter.

Istenem, törd össze szájukban a fogakat; az oroszlánok állkapcsát törd össze, URam!

Isten, rontsd meg az ő fogaikat az ő szájokban; az oroszlánoknak zápfogait törd össze, Uram!

Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces.

Să se risipească întocmai ca nişte ape care se scurg! Săgeţile pe care le-aruncă ei să fie nişte săgeţi tocite!

O God, break the teeth in their mouths; tear out the fangs of the young lions, O LORD!

Olvadjanak el, folyjanak szét, mint a víz! Ha lőni akarnak, nyilaik legyenek tompák.

Olvadjanak el, folyjanak széllyel, mint a víz; ha felteszi nyilait, legyenek tompultak azok.

As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun.

Să piară ca un melc care se topeşte umblând; să nu vadă soarele, ca stârpitura unei femei!

Let them vanish like water that runs away; when he aims his arrows, let them be blunted.

Múljanak el, mint a csiga, amely szétmállik, vagy mint az asszony koraszülöttje, aki nem látta meg a napvilágot.

Legyenek mint a csiga, a mely szétfolyván, elmúlik; mint az aszszonynak idétlen szülötte, a mely nem látta a napot.

Sooner than your pots can feel the heat of thorns, whether green or ablaze, may he sweep them away!

So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.

Şi atunci oamenii vor zice: „Da, este o răsplată pentru cel fără prihană! Da, este un Dumnezeu care judecă pe pământ!”

The righteous will rejoice when he sees the vengeance; he will bathe his feet in the blood of the wicked.
