[Ének fölmenetelkor. Dávidtól.] Ha nem lett volna velünk az ÚR– így szóljon Izráel –,

Grádicsok éneke, Dávidtól. Ha nem az Úr az, a ki velünk volt, így szóljon Izráel,

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;

De n-ar fi fost Domnul de partea noastră – să spună Israel acum! –

ha nem lett volna velünk az ÚR, amikor ránk támadtak az emberek,

Ha nem az Úr az, a ki velünk volt, mikor ránk támadtak az emberek:

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:

de n-ar fi fost Domnul de partea noastră când s-au ridicat oamenii împotriva noastră,

If it had not been the LORD who was on our side— let Israel now say—

akkor elevenen nyeltek volna el bennünket, amint fölgerjedt haragjuk ellenünk.

Akkor elevenen nyeltek volna el minket, a mint felgerjedt haragjok ellenünk;

Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:

ne-ar fi înghiţit de vii, când li s-a aprins mânia împotriva noastră;

if it had not been the LORD who was on our side when people rose up against us,

Akkor elborítottak volna a vizek, az ár átcsapott volna fölöttünk.

Akkor elborítottak volna minket a vizek, patak futott volna át felettünk;

Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:

ne-ar fi înecat apele, ar fi trecut râurile peste sufletul nostru;

then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their anger was kindled against us;

Átcsaptak volna fölöttünk a háborgó vizek.

Akkor átfutottak volna rajtunk a felbőszült vizek.

Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.

ar fi trecut peste sufletul nostru valurile năprasnice.

then the flood would have swept us away, the torrent would have gone over us;

Áldott az ÚR, aki nem adott oda minket fogaik prédájául!

Áldott az Úr, a ki nem adott minket fogaik prédájául!

Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.

Binecuvântat să fie Domnul, care nu ne-a dat pradă dinţilor lor!

then over us would have gone the raging waters.

Lelkünk megszabadult, mint a madár a madarász hálójából. A háló elszakadt, mi pedig megszabadultunk.

Lelkünk megszabadult, mint a madár, a madarásznak tőréből. A tőr elszakadt, mi pedig megszabadultunk.

Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.

Sufletul ne-a scăpat ca pasărea din laţul păsărarului; laţul s-a rupt, şi noi am scăpat.

Blessed be the LORD, who has not given us as prey to their teeth!

A mi segítségünk az ÚR nevében van, aki az eget és a földet teremtette.

A mi segítségünk az Úr nevében van, a ki teremtette az eget és földet.

Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

Ajutorul nostru este în Numele Domnului, care a făcut cerurile şi pământul.

We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped!
