O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Doamne Dumnezeul răzbunărilor, Tu, Dumnezeul răzbunărilor, arată-Te!

O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth!

Kelj föl, te, földnek bírája, fizess meg a kevélyeknek tetteik szerint!

Emelkedjél fel te, földnek birája, fizess meg a kevélyeknek!

Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.

Scoală-Te, Judecătorul pământului, şi răsplăteşte celor mândri după faptele lor!

Rise up, O judge of the earth; repay to the proud what they deserve!

Meddig fognak még a hitetlenek, URam, meddig fognak még a hitetlenek örvendezni?

A hitetlenek, Uram, meddig még, meddig örvendeznek még a hitetlenek?

LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

Până când vor birui cei răi, Doamne, până când vor birui cei răi?

O LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked exult?

Háborognak, keményen beszélnek, kérkedik minden gonosztevő.

Piszkolódnak, keményen szólnak; kérkednek mindnyájan a hamisság cselekedői.

How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

Ei ţin cuvântări puternice, vorbesc cu trufie, şi toţi cei ce fac răul se fălesc.

They pour out their arrogant words; all the evildoers boast.

Népedet tiporják, URam, örökségedet nyomorgatják.

A te népedet Uram tapossák, és nyomorgatják a te örökségedet.

They break in pieces thy people, O LORD, and afflict thine heritage.

Ei zdrobesc pe poporul Tău, Doamne, şi asupresc moştenirea Ta.

They crush your people, O LORD, and afflict your heritage.

Megölik az özvegyet és a jövevényt, az árvákat is fojtogatják.

They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

Înjunghie pe văduvă şi pe străin, ucid pe orfani

They kill the widow and the sojourner, and murder the fatherless;

Azt mondják: Nem látja az ÚR, nem veszi észre Jákób Istene!

És ezt mondják: Nem látja az Úr, és nem veszi észre a Jákób Istene!

Yet they say, The LORD shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it.

şi zic: „Nu vede Domnul, şi Dumnezeul lui Iacov nu ia aminte!”

and they say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob does not perceive.”

Eszméljetek föl, ti bolondok a nép között! És ti balgák, mikor tértek észre?

Eszméljetek ti bolondok a nép között! És ti balgatagok, mikor tértek eszetekre?

Understand, ye brutish among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise?

Totuşi învăţaţi-vă minte, oameni fără minte! Când vă veţi înţelepţi, nebunilor?

Understand, O dullest of the people! Fools, when will you be wise?

Aki a fület plántálta, az ne hallana? És aki a szemet formálta, az ne látna?

A ki a fület plántálta, avagy nem hall-é? És a ki a szemet formálta, avagy nem lát-é?

He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?

Cel ce a sădit urechea s-ar putea să n-audă? Cel ce a întocmit ochiul s-ar putea să nu vadă?

He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see?

Aki a népeket megfeddi, az ne büntetne? Ő az, aki az embert ismeretre tanítja.

A ki megfeddi a népeket, avagy nem fenyít-é meg? Ő, a ki az embert tudományra tanítja:

He that chastiseth the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teacheth man knowledge, shall not he know?

Cel ce pedepseşte neamurile s-ar putea să nu pedepsească, El, care a dat omului pricepere?

He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—

Az ÚR tudja, milyen hiábavalók az ember gondolatai.

Az Úr tudja az embernek gondolatjait, hogy azok hiábavalók.

The LORD knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

Domnul cunoaşte gândurile omului: ştie că sunt deşarte.

the LORD—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.

Boldog ember az, akit megfeddesz, URam, és megtanítasz törvényedre,

Boldog ember az, a kit te megfeddesz Uram, és a kit megtanítasz a te törvényedre;

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of thy law;

Ferice de omul pe care-l pedepseşti Tu, Doamne, şi pe care-l înveţi din legea Ta,

Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O LORD, and whom you teach out of your law,

That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked.

ca să-l linişteşti în zilele nenorocirii, până se va săpa groapa celui rău!

to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.

Bizony nem veti el népét az ÚR, nem hagyja el örökségét!

Bizony nem veti el az Úr az ő népét, és el nem hagyja az ő örökségét!

For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Căci Domnul nu lasă pe poporul Său şi nu-Şi părăseşte moştenirea.

For the LORD will not forsake his people; he will not abandon his heritage;

Mert igazságra fordul az ítélet, és követi azt minden igaz szívű.

Mert igazságra fordul vissza az ítélet, és utána mennek mind az igazszívűek.

But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

Ci se va face odată judecată după dreptate, şi toţi cei cu inima curată o vor găsi bună.

for justice will return to the righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.

Ki kel föl az én oldalamon a gonoszok ellen? Ki áll mellém a gonosztevők ellen?

Kicsoda támad fel én mellettem a gonoszok ellen? Kicsoda áll mellém a hamisság cselekedők ellen?

Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

Cine mă va ajuta împotriva celor răi? Cine mă va sprijini împotriva celor ce fac răul?

Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?

Ha az ÚR nem lett volna segítségemre, már-már ott lakozna lelkem a csöndességben.

Ha az Úr nem lett volna segítségül nékem: már-már ott lakoznék lelkem a csendességben.

Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

De n-ar fi Domnul ajutorul meu, cât de curând ar fi sufletul meu în tăcerea morţii!

If the LORD had not been my help, my soul would soon have lived in the land of silence.

Mikor azt mondtam, hogy lábam kicsúszik alólam, kegyelmed, URam, megtámasztott engem.

Mikor azt mondtam: Az én lábam eliszamodott: a te kegyelmed, Uram, megtámogatott engem.

When I said, My foot slippeth; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up.

Ori de câte ori zic: „Mi se clatină piciorul!”, bunătatea Ta, Doamne, mă sprijină totdeauna.

When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up.

Mikor megsokasodik bennem az aggódás, vigasztalásod megvidámítja lelkemet.

Mikor megsokasodtak bennem az én aggódásaim: a te vígasztalásaid megvidámították az én lelkemet.

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul.

Când gânduri negre se frământă cu grămada înăuntrul meu, mângâierile Tale îmi înviorează sufletul.

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.

Lehet-e köze hozzád a hamisság ítélőszékének, amely nyomorúságot szerez a törvény látszata alatt?

Van-é köze te hozzád a hamisság székének, a mely nyomorúságot szerez törvény színe alatt?

Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?

Te vor pune cei răi să şezi pe scaunul lor de domnie, ei care pregătesc nenorocirea la adăpostul Legii?

Can wicked rulers be allied with you, those who frame injustice by statute?

Egybegyűlnek az igaz lelke ellen, és kárhoztatják az ártatlan vérét.

Egybegyülekeznek az igaznak lelke ellen, és elkárhoztatják az ártatlannak vérét.

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

Ei se strâng împotriva vieţii celui neprihănit şi osândesc sânge nevinovat.

They band together against the life of the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.

De kőváram lett az ÚR, és Istenem az én oltalmam kősziklája.

De kőváram lőn én nékem az Úr, és az én Istenem az én oltalmamnak kősziklája;

But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

Dar Domnul este turnul meu de scăpare, Dumnezeul meu este stânca mea de adăpost.

But the LORD has become my stronghold, and my God the rock of my refuge.

Visszafordítja rájuk álnokságukat, és saját gonoszságukkal veszíti el őket. Elveszíti őket az ÚR, a mi Istenünk.

És visszafordítja reájok az ő álnokságukat, és az ő gonoszságukkal veszti el őket; elveszti őket az Úr, a mi Istenünk.

And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

El va face să cadă asupra lor nelegiuirea, El îi va nimici prin răutatea lor; Domnul Dumnezeul nostru îi va nimici.

He will bring back on them their iniquity and wipe them out for their wickedness; the LORD our God will wipe them out.
