Az éneklőmesternek; Dávid zsoltára.

Hear my voice, O God, in my prayer: preserve my life from fear of the enemy.

Ascultă-mi glasul, Dumnezeule, când gem! Ocroteşte-mi viaţa împotriva vrăjmaşului de care mă tem!

Hallgasd meg szavamat, Istenem, amikor panaszkodom, az ellenség rettentésétől mentsd meg életemet!

Hallgasd meg, Isten, az én szómat, mikor panaszkodom; az ellenségtől való félelemtől mentsd meg éltemet.

Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked; from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity:

Păzeşte-mă de uneltirile celor răi, de ceata gălăgioasă a oamenilor nelegiuiţi!

Hear my voice, O God, in my complaint; preserve my life from dread of the enemy.

Rejts el engem a rosszakarók fondorlata elől, a gonosztevők csődülete elől,

Rejts el engem a rosszakaróknak tanácsa elől, a gonosztevőknek gyülekezetétől.

Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words:

Ei îşi ascut limba ca o sabie, îşi aruncă vorbele lor amare ca nişte săgeţi,

Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the throng of evildoers,

akik megélesítik nyelvüket, mint a kardot, és sértő beszédükkel mint nyíllal céloznak,

A kik megélesítik nyelvöket, mint a szablyát; irányozzák nyilokat, keserű beszédöket.

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

ca să tragă în ascuns asupra celui nevinovat: trag asupra lui pe neaşteptate, fără nicio frică.

who whet their tongues like swords, who aim bitter words like arrows,

hogy rejtekükből lövöldözzenek a feddhetetlenre; hirtelen meglövik, és nem félnek.

Hogy lövöldözzék titkon az ártatlant; nagy hirtelenséggel lövöldözik azt, és nem félnek.

They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privily; they say, Who shall see them?

Ei se îmbărbătează în răutatea lor, se sfătuiesc împreună ca să întindă curse şi zic: „Cine ne va vedea?”

shooting from ambush at the blameless, shooting at him suddenly and without fear.

Megátalkodottak gonosz szándékukban; titokban megegyeznek, hogy tőrt vetnek, mert így beszélnek: Ki látja meg?!

Megátalkodottak gonosz szándékukban; megegyeztek, hogy tőrt vetnek titkon, mondják: ki látja őket?

They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.

Pun la cale nelegiuiri şi zic: „Iată-ne gata, planul este făcut!” O prăpastie este lăuntrul şi inima fiecăruia!

They hold fast to their evil purpose; they talk of laying snares secretly, thinking, “Who can see them?”

Álnokságokat koholnak, és a koholt tervet végrehajtják. Mert az ember bensője és szíve kikutathatatlan.

Álnokságokat koholnak; a kikoholt tervet végrehajták; mindenikök keble és szíve kikutathatatlan.

But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.

Dar Dumnezeu aruncă săgeţi împotriva lor: deodată, iată-i loviţi.

They search out injustice, saying, “We have accomplished a diligent search.” For the inward mind and heart of a man are deep.

De Isten meglövi őket, hirtelen nyíl üt sebet rajtuk.

De meglövi őket az Isten; hirtelen nyíl üt rajtok sebet.

So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.

Limba lor le-a pricinuit căderea; şi toţi cei ce-i văd clatină din cap.

But God shoots his arrow at them; they are wounded suddenly.

Elejti őket, saját nyelvük lesz ellenük; fejét csóválja mindenki, aki csak látja őket.

És megejtik őket, a nyelvök lesz ellenök; iszonyodik mindenki, a ki őket látja.

And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

Toţi oamenii sunt cuprinşi de frică şi mărturisesc: „Iată ce a făcut Dumnezeu”, şi recunosc că aceasta este lucrarea Lui!

They are brought to ruin, with their own tongues turned against them; all who see them will wag their heads.

Akkor félelem fog el minden embert, és hirdetni fogják Isten tetteit, megértik cselekedeteit.

Akkor megfélemlenek mind az emberek; hirdetni fogják Istennek dolgát, és megértik cselekedetét.

The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.

Cel neprihănit se bucură în Domnul şi în El îşi caută scăparea; toţi cei cu inima fără prihană se laudă că sunt fericiţi.

Then all mankind fears; they tell what God has brought about and ponder what he has done.

Örvendeni fog az ÚRban az igaz, és hozzá menekül. És dicséretet mondanak a tiszta szívűek.

[Örvendeni fog az igaz Istenben, és hozzá menekül; és dicsekedni fognak minden egyenesszívűek.]
