Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

Cântaţi cu veselie lui Dumnezeu, care este tăria noastră! Înălţaţi strigăte de bucurie Dumnezeului lui Iacov!

Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

Cântaţi o cântare, sunaţi din tobă, din harpa cea plăcută şi din lăută!

Sing aloud to God our strength; shout for joy to the God of Jacob!

Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

Sunaţi din trâmbiţă la luna nouă, la luna plină, în ziua sărbătorii noastre!

Raise a song; sound the tambourine, the sweet lyre with the harp.

Fújjatok kürtöt újholdkor, holdtöltekor is, ünnepünk napján!

Fújjatok kürtöt új holdra, holdtöltekor, a mi ünnepünk napján;

For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

Căci aceasta este o Lege pentru Israel, o poruncă a Dumnezeului lui Iacov.

Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

El a rânduit sărbătoarea aceasta pentru Iosif, când a mers împotriva ţării Egiptului… Atunci am auzit un glas pe care nu l-am cunoscut: –

For it is a statute for Israel, a rule of the God of Jacob.

Bizonyságul adta Józsefnek, amikor Egyiptom ellen indult. Olyan nyelvet hallottam ott, amelyet nem ismertem:

Bizonyságul tette ő a József nemzetségében, a mikor kijött Égyiptom földe ellen. Nyelvet hallék [ott,] a mit nem tudtam.

I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

„I-am descărcat povara de pe umăr, şi mâinile lui nu mai ţin coşul.

He made it a decree in Joseph when he went out over the land of Egypt. I hear a language I had not known:

Levettem válláról a terhet, keze megmenekült a kosártól.

Megszabadítottam a tehertől az ő vállát, kezei megmenekültek a kosártól.

Thou calledst in trouble, and I delivered thee; I answered thee in the secret place of thunder: I proved thee at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

Ai strigat în necaz, şi te-am izbăvit; ţi-am răspuns în locul tainic al tunetului şi te-am încercat la apele Meriba. – (Oprire)

“I relieved your shoulder of the burden; your hands were freed from the basket.

Segítségül hívtál a nyomorúságban, és én megszabadítottalak téged. Feleltem neked a mennydörgés rejtekéből, megpróbáltalak Meríbá vizénél. [Szela]

A nyomorúságban segítségül hívtál és én megszabadítottalak téged; meghallgattalak téged a mennydörgésnek rejtekében; megpróbáltalak téged a versengések vizénél. Szela.

Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto thee: O Israel, if thou wilt hearken unto me;

Ascultă, poporul Meu, şi te voi sfătui; Israele, de M-ai asculta!

In distress you called, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder; I tested you at the waters of Meribah. Selah

Hallgass meg, népem, hadd intselek! Ó, Izráel, bárcsak meghallgatnál engem!

Hallgass én népem, hadd tegyek bizonyságot ellened! Oh Izráel, ha te meghallgatnál engem!

There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

Niciun dumnezeu străin să nu fie în mijlocul tău şi să nu te închini înaintea dumnezeilor străini!

Hear, O my people, while I admonish you! O Israel, if you would but listen to me!

Ne legyen nálad idegen isten, és idegen isten előtt ne hajolj meg!

Ne legyen te nálad idegen isten, és az idegen isten előtt meg ne hajolj!

I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Eu sunt Domnul Dumnezeul tău care te-am scos din ţara Egiptului; deschide-ţi gura larg, şi ţi-o voi umple!”

There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.

Én, az ÚR vagyok a te Istened, aki kihoztalak Egyiptom földjéről. Nyisd ki a szádat, és én megtöltöm azt!

Én, az Úr vagyok a te Istened, a ki kihoztalak téged Égyiptom földéről: nyisd szét a te szájad és betöltöm azt.

But my people would not hearken to my voice; and Israel would none of me.

Dar poporul Meu n-a ascultat glasul Meu, Israel nu M-a ascultat.

I am the LORD your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

De népem nem hallgatott szavamra, Izráel nem engedelmeskedett nekem.

De nem hallgatott népem az én szómra, és Izráel nem engedelmeskedett nékem.

So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels.

Atunci i-am lăsat în voia pornirilor inimii lor, şi au urmat sfaturile lor.

“But my people did not listen to my voice; Israel would not submit to me.

Ezért meghagytam őket szívük keménységében, hadd járjanak saját tanácsuk szerint.

Ott hagytam azért őt szívöknek keménységében, hogy járjanak a magok tanácsa szerint.

Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!

O! de M-ar asculta poporul Meu, de ar umbla Israel în căile Mele!

So I gave them over to their stubborn hearts, to follow their own counsels.

Ó, ha népem hallgatna rám, és Izráel az én utaimon járna!

Oh, ha az én népem hallgatna reám, [s] Izráel az én utaimon járna!

I should soon have subdued their enemies, and turned my hand against their adversaries.

Într-o clipă aş înfrunta pe vrăjmaşii lor, Mi-aş întoarce mâna împotriva potrivnicilor lor;

Oh, that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

Rögtön megaláznám ellenségeit, és szorongatói ellen fordítanám kezem.

Legott megaláznám ellenségeit, s szorongatói ellen fordítanám kezem.

The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever.

cei ce urăsc pe Domnul L-ar linguşi, şi fericirea lui Israel ar dăinui în veci.

I would soon subdue their enemies and turn my hand against their foes.

Az ÚR gyűlölői hízelegnének neki, és bűnhődésük ideje örökké tartana.

Az Úrnak gyűlölői hízelegnének néki, és örökkévaló volna az ő idejök.

He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

L-aş hrăni cu cel mai bun grâu şi l-aş sătura cu miere din stâncă.

Those who hate the LORD would cringe toward him, and their fate would last forever.
