[Ászáf zsoltára.] Istenem! Pogányok hatoltak be örökségedbe, megfertőzték szent templomodat, Jeruzsálemet romhalmazzá tették.

Aszáf zsoltára. Oh Isten, pogányok jöttek be örökségedbe, megfertőztették szent templomodat, Jeruzsálemet kőhalommá tették.

O god, the heathen are come into thine inheritance; thy holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

Dumnezeule, au năvălit neamurile în moştenirea Ta, au pângărit Templul Tău cel sfânt şi au prefăcut Ierusalimul într-un morman de pietre.

The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

Trupurile neînsufleţite ale robilor Tăi le-au dat să le mănânce păsările cerului, şi carnea credincioşilor Tăi au dat-o s-o mănânce fiarele pământului.

O God, the nations have come into your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple; they have laid Jerusalem in ruins.

Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

They have given the bodies of your servants to the birds of the heavens for food, the flesh of your faithful to the beasts of the earth.

They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there was no one to bury them.

How long, LORD? wilt thou be angry for ever? shall thy jealousy burn like fire?

Până când, Doamne, Te vei mânia fără încetare şi va arde mânia Ta ca focul?

We have become a taunt to our neighbors, mocked and derided by those around us.

Öntsd ki haragodat a pogányokra, akik nem ismernek téged, és az országokra, amelyek nem hívják segítségül nevedet!

Pour out thy wrath upon the heathen that have not known thee, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon thy name.

Varsă-Ţi mânia peste neamurile care nu Te cunosc şi peste împărăţiile care nu cheamă Numele Tău!

How long, O LORD? Will you be angry forever? Will your jealousy burn like fire?

Pour out your anger on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call upon your name!

Ne emlékezzél meg elődeink vétkéről a mi rovásunkra, siess elénk irgalmasságoddal, mert nagyon megnyomorodtunk!

O remember not against us former iniquities: let thy tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

Nu-Ţi mai aduce aminte de nelegiuirile strămoşilor noştri, ci să ne iasă degrabă înainte îndurările Tale! Căci suntem nenorociţi de tot!

For they have devoured Jacob and laid waste his habitation.

Neved dicsőségéért segíts meg bennünket, szabadító Istenünk, ments meg minket, és bocsásd meg vétkeinket nevedért!

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake.

Ajută-ne, Dumnezeul mântuirii noastre, pentru slava Numelui Tău! Izbăveşte-ne şi iartă-ne păcatele, pentru Numele Tău!

Do not remember against us our former iniquities; let your compassion come speedily to meet us, for we are brought very low.

Miért mondják a pogányok: Hol van az ő Istenük? Legyen nyilvánvaló előttünk, hogy szemünk láttára bosszút állsz a pogányokon szolgáid kiontott véréért!

Minek mondanák a pogányok: Hol az ő Istenök? Legyen nyilvánvaló a pogányokon szemeink láttára a te szolgáid kiontott véréért való bosszúállásod.

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of thy servants which is shed.

Pentru ce să zică neamurile: „Unde este Dumnezeul lor?” Să se ştie, înaintea ochilor noştri, printre neamuri că Tu răzbuni sângele vărsat al robilor Tăi!

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name’s sake!

Jusson eléd a foglyok sóhajtozása, tartsd meg a halálra szántakat karod hatalmával!

Jusson elődbe a foglyok könyörgése; karod hatalmával tartsd meg a halálnak eme fiait;

Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are appointed to die;

Să ajungă până la Tine gemetele prinşilor de război! Scapă, prin braţul Tău cel puternic, pe cei ce pier!

Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let the avenging of the outpoured blood of your servants be known among the nations before our eyes!

Fizess meg hétszeresen szomszédainknak a gyalázatért, amellyel téged illettek, Uram!

És fizess meg szomszédaink keblébe hétszeresen a gyalázatért, a melylyel illettek téged, oh Uram!

And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached thee, O Lord.

Întoarce vecinilor noştri, de şapte ori în sânul lor, batjocurile pe care Ţi le-au aruncat ei Ţie, Doamne!

Let the groans of the prisoners come before you; according to your great power, preserve those doomed to die!

So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Şi noi, poporul Tău, turma păşunii Tale, Te vom lăuda în veci şi vom vesti din neam în neam laudele Tale.

Return sevenfold into the lap of our neighbors the taunts with which they have taunted you, O Lord!
