Deliver me from mine enemies, O my God: defend me from them that rise up against me.

Dumnezeule, scapă-mă de vrăjmaşii mei, ocroteşte-mă de potrivnicii mei!

Szabadíts meg engem ellenségeimtől, Istenem, ments meg a rám támadóktól!

Szabadíts meg engemet az én ellenségeimtől, Istenem; a reám támadóktól ments meg engemet!

Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.

Scapă-mă de răufăcători, izbăveşte-mă de oamenii setoşi de sânge!

Deliver me from my enemies, O my God; protect me from those who rise up against me;

Szabadíts meg a gonosztevőktől, és segíts meg engem a vérontó emberekkel szemben.

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD.

Căci iată-i că stau la pândă să-mi ia viaţa; nişte oameni porniţi la rău urzesc lucruri rele împotriva mea, fără să fiu vinovat, fără să fi păcătuit, Doamne!

deliver me from those who work evil, and save me from bloodthirsty men.

Mert íme, lelkem után leselkednek, összegyűlnek ellenem az erősek, pedig sem hibám, sem vétkem nincs, URam!

Mert ímé lelkem után leselkednek, egybegyűltek ellenem az erősek; a nélkül, hogy hibás vagy vétkes volnék, Uram!

They run and prepare themselves without my fault: awake to help me, and behold.

Cu toată nevinovăţia mea, ei aleargă, se pregătesc: trezeşte-Te, ieşi înaintea mea şi priveşte!

For behold, they lie in wait for my life; fierce men stir up strife against me. For no transgression or sin of mine, O LORD,

Bár nincs bűnöm, sietve ellenem készülnek. Kelj fel segítségemre, és lásd meg őket!

Bűnöm nélkül egybegyűlnek és készülnek [ellenem]: serkenj fel előmbe és lásd meg [ezeket!]

Thou therefore, O LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel, awake to visit all the heathen: be not merciful to any wicked transgressors. Selah.

Doamne Dumnezeul oştirilor, Dumnezeul lui Israel, scoală-Te, ca să pedepseşti toate neamurile! N-avea milă de niciunul din aceşti vânzători nelegiuiţi. – (Oprire)

for no fault of mine, they run and make ready. Awake, come to meet me, and see!

Te, URam, Seregek Istene, Izráel Istene, kelj föl! Büntesd meg mind e népeket, ne könyörülj senkin, aki hamisságot cselekszik. [Szela]

Te, oh Uram, Seregek Istene, Izráel Istene, serkenj fel! Büntesd meg mind e pogányokat, ne könyörülj senkin, a ki hamisságot cselekszik. Szela.

They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

Se întorc în fiecare seară, urlă ca nişte câini şi dau ocol cetăţii.

You, LORD God of hosts, are God of Israel. Rouse yourself to punish all the nations; spare none of those who treacherously plot evil. Selah

Este megjelennek, ordítanak, mint az eb, körüljárják a várost.

Estenden megjelennek, ordítnak, mint az eb; körüljárják a várost.

Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear?

Da, din gura lor ţâşneşte răul, pe buzele lor sunt săbii; căci zic: „Cine aude?”

Each evening they come back, howling like dogs and prowling about the city.

Íme, szájukkal üvöltenek, ajkuk között kard van, mert azt gondolják: Kicsoda hallja meg?

Ímé, szájokkal csácsognak, ajkaikon szablyák vannak: hisz, [úgy mond], kicsoda hallja meg?

But thou, O LORD, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision.

Dar Tu, Doamne, râzi de ei, Tu Îţi baţi joc de toate neamurile.

There they are, bellowing with their mouths with swords in their lips— for “Who,” they think, “will hear us?”

Te pedig, URam, nevetsz rajtuk, és csúffá teszed mind e népeket.

Te pedig, Uram, neveted őket, és megcsúfolod mind e pogány népet.

Because of his strength will I wait upon thee: for God is my defence.

Oricare le-ar fi puterea, eu în Tine nădăjduiesc, căci Dumnezeu este scăparea mea.

But you, O LORD, laugh at them; you hold all the nations in derision.

Te vagy az erőm, rád figyelek, mert Isten az én váram.

Hatalmá[val szemben] te reád vigyázok; mert Isten az én váram.

The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies.

Dumnezeul meu, în bunătatea Lui, îmi iese înainte; Dumnezeu mă face să-mi văd împlinită dorinţa faţă de cei ce mă prigonesc.

O my Strength, I will watch for you, for you, O God, are my fortress.

Elém jön kegyelmes Istenem, és látnom engedi ellenségeim vesztét.

Előmbe jön az én kegyelmes Istenem; látnom engedi Isten az én ellenségeim [romlását.]

Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield.

Nu-i ucide, ca să nu uite lucrul acesta poporul meu, ci fă-i să pribegească, prin puterea Ta, şi doboară-i, Doamne, scutul nostru!

My God in his steadfast love will meet me; God will let me look in triumph on my enemies.

Ne öld meg őket, hogy népem ne felejtsen! Tedd őket bujdosóvá hatalmaddal, és alázd meg őket, Uram, mi pajzsunk!

Ne öld meg őket, hogy népem meg ne felejtkezzék; bujdosókká tedd őket a te hatalmaddal, és alázd meg őket Uram, mi paizsunk!

For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

Gura lor păcătuieşte la fiecare vorbă care le iese de pe buze: să se prindă în însăşi mândria lor, căci nu spun decât blesteme şi minciuni.

Kill them not, lest my people forget; make them totter by your power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield!

Szájukban vétek ajkuk beszéde, ejtse csapdába őket kevélységük, mert csak átkot és hazugságot szólnak.

Szájuknak vétke az ő ajkaiknak beszéde, fogattassanak meg kevélységükben; mert csak átkot és hazugságot szólnak.

Consume them in wrath, consume them, that they may not be: and let them know that God ruleth in Jacob unto the ends of the earth. Selah.

Nimiceşte-i, în mânia Ta, prăpădeşte-i, ca să nu mai fie! Fă-i să ştie că împărăţeşte Dumnezeu peste Iacov, până la marginile pământului. – (Oprire)

For the sin of their mouths, the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride. For the cursing and lies that they utter,

Veszítsd el őket haragodban, veszítsd el őket, hogy ne legyenek! Hadd tudják meg egészen a föld határáig, hogy Isten uralkodik Jákób fölött. [Szela]

Veszítsd el őket búsulásodban, veszítsd el őket, hogy ne legyenek; és tudják meg, hogy Isten uralkodik a Jákób fölött, mind a földnek határáig. Szela.

And at evening let them return; and let them make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

consume them in wrath; consume them till they are no more, that they may know that God rules over Jacob to the ends of the earth. Selah

Este visszatérnek, vonítanak, mint az ebek, körüljárják a várost.

Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied.

Umblă încoace şi încolo după hrană şi petrec noaptea nesătui.

Each evening they come back, howling like dogs and prowling about the city.

Élelem után kószálnak, és ha nem laknak jól, nyüszítenek.

Étel után barangolnak, és ha nem laknak jól, virrasztanak.

But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.

Dar eu voi cânta puterea Ta; dis-de-dimineaţă voi lăuda bunătatea Ta. Căci Tu eşti un turn de scăpare pentru mine, un loc de adăpost în ziua necazului meu.

They wander about for food and growl if they do not get their fill.

Én pedig hatalmadról énekelek, minden reggel kegyelmedet magasztalom; mert váram vagy és menedékem nyomorúságom napján.

Én pedig éneklem a te hatalmadat, és reggelenkint zengem a te kegyelmességedet; mert váram voltál és menedékem az én nyomorúságom napján.

Unto thee, O my strength, will I sing: for God is my defence, and the God of my mercy.

O, tăria mea! Pe Tine Te voi lăuda, căci Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul meu cel preabun, este turnul meu de scăpare.

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress.

Én erősségem, neked énekelek! Mert Isten az én váram. Ő az én kegyelmes Istenem!
