Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication.

Ia aminte, Dumnezeule, la rugăciunea mea şi nu Te ascunde de cererile mele!

To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments. A Maskil of David.

Istenem, hallgasd meg imádságomat, és ne rejtőzz el könyörgésem elől!

Hallgasd meg, Isten, az én imádságomat, és ne rejtsd el magadat az én könyörgésem elől;

Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;

Ascultă-mă şi răspunde-mi! Rătăcesc încoace şi încolo şi mă frământ,

Give ear to my prayer, O God, and hide not yourself from my plea for mercy!

Figyelj rám, és hallgass meg engem, mert kesergek a bajok miatt, és megzavarodtam

Figyelmezz én reám és hallgass meg engemet; mert keseregve bolyongok és jajgatok!

Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.

din pricina zarvei vrăjmaşului şi din pricina apăsării celui rău. Căci ei aruncă nenorocirea peste mine şi mă urmăresc cu mânie.

Attend to me, and answer me; I am restless in my complaint and I moan,

az ellenség hangja és a hitetlenek nyomorgatása miatt, mert romlást zúdítanak rám, és dühödten támadnak engem.

Az ellenségnek szaváért [és] a hitetlenek nyomorgatásáért: mert hazugságot hárítanak reám, és [nagy] dühösséggel ellenkeznek velem.

My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.

Îmi tremură inima în mine şi mă cuprinde spaima morţii,

because of the noise of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked. For they drop trouble upon me, and in anger they bear a grudge against me.

Szívem reszket bensőmben, és halálfélelem tört rám.

Az én szívem reszket bennem, és a halál félelmei körülvettek engem.

Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

mă apucă frica şi groaza şi mă iau fiorii.

My heart is in anguish within me; the terrors of death have fallen upon me.

Félelem és rettegés fogott el, és borzongás járt át engem.

Félelem és rettegés esett én reám, és borzadály vett körül engem.

And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.

Eu zic: „O, dacă aş avea aripile porumbelului, aş zbura şi aş găsi undeva odihnă!”

Fear and trembling come upon me, and horror overwhelms me.

Azt mondtam: Bárcsak szárnyam volna, mint a galambnak! Elrepülnék és megnyugodnék.

Mondám: Vajha szárnyam volna, mint a galambnak! Elrepülnék és nyugodnám.

Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.

Da, aş fugi departe de tot şi m-aş duce să locuiesc în pustiu. – (Oprire)

And I say, “Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest;

Íme, messzire mennék, és a pusztában laknék. [Szela]

Ímé, messze elmennék és a pusztában lakoznám. Szela.

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

Aş fugi în grabă la un adăpost de vântul acesta năprasnic şi de furtuna aceasta.

yes, I would wander far away; I would lodge in the wilderness; Selah

Sietve keresnék menedéket e sebes szél, e forgószél elől.

Sietnék kiszabadulni e sebes szélből, e forgószélből.

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

Nimiceşte-i, Doamne, împarte-le limbile, căci în cetate văd silă şi certuri;

I would hurry to find a shelter from the raging wind and tempest.”

Zavard össze őket, Uram, és oszd meg nyelvüket; mert csak erőszakot és háborgást látok a városban.

Rontsd meg Uram, [és] oszlasd meg az ő nyelvöket; mert erőszakot és háborgást látok a városban.

Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.

zi şi noapte ei îi dau ocol pe ziduri: nelegiuirea şi răutatea sunt în sânul ei;

Destroy, O Lord, divide their tongues; for I see violence and strife in the city.

Nappal és éjjel körüljárják kőfalait, bent pedig gonoszság és ártalom van.

Nappal és éjjel körüljárják azt annak kőfalainál, bent hamisság és ártalom van abban.

Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

răutatea este în mijlocul ei, şi vicleşugul şi înşelătoria nu lipsesc din pieţele ei.

Day and night they go around it on its walls, and iniquity and trouble are within it;

Veszedelem van benne, és nem távozik tereiről a zsarnokság és csalárdság.

Veszedelem van bensejében; s nem távozik annak teréről a zsarnokság és csalárdság.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

Nu un vrăjmaş mă batjocoreşte, căci aş suferi: nu potrivnicul meu se ridică împotriva mea, căci m-aş ascunde dinaintea lui.

ruin is in its midst; oppression and fraud do not depart from its marketplace.

Mert nem ellenség szidalmazott engem, hiszen azt elszenvedném; nem gyűlölőm emelkedett föl ellenem, hiszen elrejtőztem volna előle.

Mert nem ellenség szidalmazott engem, hisz [azt] elszenvedném; nem gyűlölőm emelte fel magát ellenem, hiszen elrejtettem volna magamat az elől:

But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

Ci tu, pe care te socoteam una cu mine, tu, frate de cruce şi prieten cu mine!

For it is not an enemy who taunts me— then I could bear it; it is not an adversary who deals insolently with me— then I could hide from him.

Hanem te, hozzám hasonló halandó, bizalmasom és jó barátom,

Hanem te, hozzám hasonló halandó, én barátom és ismerősöm,

We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

Noi, care trăiam împreună într-o plăcută prietenie şi ne duceam împreună cu mulţimea în Casa lui Dumnezeu!

But it is you, a man, my equal, my companion, my familiar friend.

akivel édes bizalomban éltünk együtt, és akivel Isten házába jártunk a sokasággal együtt.

A kik együtt édes bizalomban éltünk; az Isten házába jártunk a tömegben.

Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

Să vină moartea peste ei şi să se coboare de vii în Locuinţa morţilor! Căci răutatea este în locuinţa lor, în inima lor.

We used to take sweet counsel together; within God’s house we walked in the throng.

Jöjjön rájuk a halál, szálljanak elevenen a Seolba, mert gonoszság vett lakozást közöttük!

A halál vegye őket körül, elevenen szálljanak a Seolba; mert gonoszság van lakásukban, kebelökben.

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.

Dar eu strig către Dumnezeu, şi Domnul mă va scăpa.

Let death steal over them; let them go down to Sheol alive; for evil is in their dwelling place and in their heart.

Én pedig Istenhez kiáltok, és az ÚR megsegít engem.

Én az Istenhez kiáltok, és az Úr megszabadít engem.

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Seara, dimineaţa şi la amiază oftez şi gem, şi El va auzi glasul meu.

But I call to God, and the LORD will save me.

Este, reggel és délben sóhajtozom és jajgatok, és ő meghallja hangomat.

Estve, reggel és délben panaszkodom és sóhajtozom, és ő meghallja az én szómat.

He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.

Mă va scăpa din lupta care se dă împotriva mea şi-mi va aduce pacea, căci mulţi mai sunt împotriva mea!

Evening and morning and at noon I utter my complaint and moan, and he hears my voice.

Megszabadítja lelkemet a rám támadóktól, hogy békességem legyen, bár sokan vannak ellenem.

Megszabadítja lelkemet békességre a rám támadó hadtól, mert sokan vannak ellenem.

God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Dumnezeu va auzi şi-i va smeri, El, care, din veşnicie, stă pe scaunul Lui de domnie. – (Oprire) Căci în ei nu este nicio nădejde de schimbare şi nu se tem de Dumnezeu.

He redeems my soul in safety from the battle that I wage, for many are arrayed against me.

Isten meghallgat, és megalázza őket, akik nem akarnak megváltozni, és nem félik Istent; mert kezdettől fogva ő ül a trónon. [Szela]

Meghallja Isten és megfelel nékik, (mivelhogy ő eleitől fogva trónol, Szela), a kik nem akarnak megváltozni és nem félik az Istent.

He hath put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he hath broken his covenant.

Ei pun mâna pe cei ce trăiau în pace cu ei şi îşi calcă legământul.

God will give ear and humble them, he who is enthroned from of old, Selah because they do not change and do not fear God.

Kezet emelt a vele békességben lévőkre, megszegte szövetségét.

Kezeit felemelte a vele békességben lévőkre; megszegte az ő szövetségét.

The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

Gura lor este dulce ca smântâna, dar în inimă poartă războiul: cuvintele lor sunt mai alunecoase decât untdelemnul, dar, când ies ele din gură, sunt nişte săbii.

My companion stretched out his hand against his friends; he violated his covenant.

A vajnál is simább a szája, de szívében háborúság van. Beszéde lágyabb az olajnál, pedig kivont kard az.

A vajnál simább az ő szája, pedig szívében háborúság van; lágyabbak beszédei az olajnál, pedig éles szablyák azok.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Încredinţează-ţi soarta în mâna Domnului, şi El te va sprijini. El nu va lăsa niciodată să se clatine cel neprihănit.

His speech was smooth as butter, yet war was in his heart; his words were softer than oil, yet they were drawn swords.

Vesd az ÚRra terhedet, és ő gondot visel rólad. Nem engedi sohasem, hogy ingadozzék az igaz.

Vessed az Úrra a te terhedet, ő gondot visel rólad, és nem engedi, hogy valamikor ingadozzék az igaz.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction: bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days; but I will trust in thee.

Şi Tu, Dumnezeule, îi vei coborî în fundul gropii. Oamenii setoşi de sânge şi de înşelăciune nu vor ajunge nici jumătate din zilele lor. Eu însă mă încred în Tine!

Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.

Istenem, te a veszedelem vermébe taszítod őket; a vérszomjas és álnok emberek életük felét sem érik el. De én benned bízom!

[Te, Isten, a veszedelem vermébe taszítod őket; a vérszopó és álnok emberek életüknek felét sem élik meg; én pedig te benned bízom.]
