URam, miért állsz távol? Miért rejtőzöl el a szükség idején?

Uram, miért állasz távol? Miért rejtőzöl el a szükség idején?

Why standest thou afar off, O LORD? why hidest thou thyself in times of trouble?

Pentru ce stai aşa de departe, Doamne? Pentru ce Te ascunzi la vreme de necaz?

Why, O LORD, do you stand far away? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?

A gonoszok kevélyen üldözik a szegényt; essenek saját cselük csapdájába, amelyet koholtak.

A gonosznak kevélysége miatt sanyarog a szegény. Essenek foglyul a cseleknek, a miket koholtak.

The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.

Cel rău, în mândria lui, urmăreşte pe cei nenorociţi, şi ei cad jertfă curselor urzite de el.

In arrogance the wicked hotly pursue the poor; let them be caught in the schemes that they have devised.

Dicsekszik lelke kívánságával a gonosz, áldja a fösvényt, és átkot mond az ÚRra.

Mert dicsekszik a gonosz az ő lelkének kivánságával, és a fösvény megveti és szidja az Urat.

For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

Căci cel rău se făleşte cu pofta lui, iar răpitorul batjocoreşte şi nesocoteşte pe Domnul.

For the wicked boasts of the desires of his soul, and the one greedy for gain curses and renounces the LORD.

Gőgös megvetéssel nem keresi: Nincs Isten – ez minden gondolata.

A gonosz az ő haragos kevélységében senkit sem tudakoz; nincs Isten, ez minden gondolatja.

The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Cel rău zice cu trufie: „Nu pedepseşte Domnul! Nu este Dumnezeu!” Iată toate gândurile lui.

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him; all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

Útjai mindig szerencsések, távolinak tűnnek neki ítéleteid, minden ellenségét lekicsinyli.

Szerencsések az ő útai minden időben; messze vannak tőle ítéleteid, elfújja minden ellenségét.

His ways are always grievous; thy judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffeth at them.

Treburile îi merg bine în orice vreme; judecăţile Tale sunt prea înalte pentru el, ca să le poată vedea, şi suflă cu dispreţ împotriva tuturor potrivnicilor lui.

His ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of his sight; as for all his foes, he puffs at them.

Azt mondja szívében: Semmi sem rendít meg, soha nem jutok bajba.

Azt mondja szívében: Nem rendülök meg soha örökké, mert nem [esem] bajba.

He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.

El zice în inima lui: „Nu mă clatin, în veci sunt scutit de nenorocire!”

He says in his heart, “I shall not be moved; throughout all generations I shall not meet adversity.”

Szája tele átkozódással, csalárdsággal és erőszakkal; nyelve alatt hamisság és álnokság van.

Szája telve átkozódással, csalárdsággal és erőszakossággal; nyelve alatt hamisság és álnokság.

His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.

Gura îi este plină de blesteme, de înşelătorii şi de vicleşuguri; şi sub limbă are răutate şi fărădelege.

His mouth is filled with cursing and deceit and oppression; under his tongue are mischief and iniquity.

Utcák zugában lapul, titkon megöli az ártatlant, szeme a gyámoltalant lesi.

Az utczák zugaiban lappang, a rejtekhelyeken megöli az ártatlant, szemei lesnek az ügyefogyottra.

He sitteth in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are privily set against the poor.

Stă la pândă lângă sate şi ucide pe cel nevinovat în locuri dosnice: ochii lui pândesc pe cel nenorocit.

He sits in ambush in the villages; in hiding places he murders the innocent. His eyes stealthily watch for the helpless;

Leselkedik rejtekhelyén, leselkedik, mint az oroszlán a fedezékben, hogy elragadja a szegényt, mihelyt hálójába foghatja.

Leselkedik a rejtekhelyen, leselkedik, mint az oroszlán az ő barlangjában, hogy elragadja a szegényt; elragadja a szegényt, mihelyt hálójába foghatja azt.

He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into his net.

Stă la pândă în ascunzătoarea lui, ca leul în vizuină: stă la pândă să prindă pe cel nenorocit. Îl prinde şi-l trage în laţul lui:

he lurks in ambush like a lion in his thicket; he lurks that he may seize the poor; he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net.

Összetöri, letiporja a gyámoltalanokat, akik elesnek erejétől.

Lenyomja, tiporja, és erejétől elesnek az ügyefogyottak.

He croucheth, and humbleth himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.

se îndoaie, se pleacă şi-i cad săracii în gheare!

The helpless are crushed, sink down, and fall by his might.

Azt mondja szívében: Elfelejtett az Isten, elrejtette arcát, nem is lát meg soha!

He hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: he hideth his face; he will never see it.

El zice în inima lui: „Dumnezeu uită! Îşi ascunde faţa, şi în veac nu va vedea!”

He says in his heart, “God has forgotten, he has hidden his face, he will never see it.”

Kelj föl, ÚR Isten, emeld föl kezedet, ne feledkezz el a szegényekről!

Kelj fel Úr-Isten, emeld fel kezedet; ne feledkezzél el a szegényekről!

Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.

Scoală-Te, Doamne Dumnezeule, ridică mâna! Nu uita pe cei nenorociţi!

Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up your hand; forget not the afflicted.

Miért vetheti meg Istent a gonosz? Miért mondhatja szívében: Nem lesz számonkérés?

Miért szidja Istent a gonosz? [Miért] mondja szívében: Nem keresed [rajta.]

Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

Pentru ce să hulească cel rău pe Dumnezeu? Pentru ce să zică în inima lui că Tu nu pedepseşti?

Why does the wicked renounce God and say in his heart, “You will not call to account”?

Pedig te látod a bajt, és észreveszed a fájdalmat, hogy kézbe vedd. Rád hagyja magát a gyámoltalan, az árvának is te vagy segítsége.

Te látod [ezt,] mert te megnézed a hamisságot és a fájdalmat, hogy rávessed kezed. Te reád hagyja magát az ügyefogyott, az árvának is te vagy segedelme.

Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

Dar Tu vezi; căci Tu priveşti necazul şi suferinţa, ca să iei în mână pricina lor. În nădejdea Ta se lasă cel nenorocit, şi Tu vii în ajutor orfanului.

But you do see, for you note mischief and vexation, that you may take it into your hands; to you the helpless commits himself; you have been the helper of the fatherless.

Törd össze a gonosz karját, és kérd számon a bűnösön gonoszságát, egy se maradjon!

Törd össze a gonosznak karját; és keressed a rosszon az ő gonoszságát, míg már nem találsz.

Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

Zdrobeşte braţul celui rău, pedepseşte-i fărădelegile, ca să piară din ochii Tăi!

Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer; call his wickedness to account till you find none.

Király az ÚR mindörökké; a népek kivesznek földjéről.

Az Úr király mindenha és mindörökké; a pogányok kivesznek az ő földjéről.

The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.

Domnul este Împărat în veci de veci; neamurile sunt nimicite din ţara Lui.

The LORD is king forever and ever; the nations perish from his land.

A szegények kívánságát meghallgatod, ó, URam. Megerősíted szívüket, füled figyel rájuk,

A szegények kivánságát meghallgatod, oh Uram! Megerősíted szívöket, füleiddel figyelmezel,

LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear:

Tu auzi rugăciunile celor ce suferă, Doamne! Le întăreşti inima, Îţi pleci urechea spre ei,

O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted; you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear

hogy igazságot szolgáltass az árvának és nyomorultnak, hogy földi ember többé ne rettentsen meg másokat.

Hogy ítéletet tégy az árvának és nyomorodottnak, hogy többé már ne rettentsen a földből való ember.

To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

ca să faci dreptate orfanului şi celui asuprit şi ca să nu mai insufle groaza omul cel luat din pământ.

to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.
