Un psalm al lui Asaf. 

1

[Ászáf zsoltára.] Bizony, Isten jó Izráelhez, azokhoz, akik tiszta szívűek.

Aszáf zsoltára. Bizony jó Izráelhez az Isten, azokhoz, a kik tiszta szívűek.

Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.

Da, bun este Dumnezeu cu Israel, cu cei cu inima curată.

A Psalm of Asaph.

De az én lábam már-már megbotlott, és lépteim kis híján megtántorodtak.

De én?! Már-már meghanyatlottak lábaim; és kis híjja, hogy lépteim el nem iszamodtak.

But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.

Totuşi, era să mi se îndoaie piciorul şi era să-mi alunece paşii!

Truly God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.

Mert irigykedtem a kevélyekre, amikor láttam a gonoszok jó előmenetelét.

Mert irígykedtem a kevélyekre, látván a gonoszok jó szerencséjét.

For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Căci mă uitam cu jind la cei nesocotiţi, când vedeam fericirea celor răi.

But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled, my steps had nearly slipped.

Mert halálukig nincsenek kínjaik, és kitart az erejük.

Mert halálukig nincsenek kínjaik, és az ő erejök állandó.

For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.

Într-adevăr, nimic nu-i tulbură până la moarte, şi trupul le este încărcat de grăsime.

For I was envious of the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.

Nincs részük a halandók nyomorúságában, és nem ostorozzák őket, mint más embereket.

A halandók nyomorúságában nincs részök, és az emberekkel nem ostoroztatnak.

They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.

N-au parte de suferinţele omeneşti şi nu sunt loviţi ca ceilalţi oameni.

For they have no pangs until death; their bodies are fat and sleek.

Ezért kevélység a nyakuk ékessége, ruha gyanánt erőszak borítja őket.

Ezért nyakuknak ékessége kevélység, ruha gyanánt erőszak borítja őket.

Therefore pride compasseth them about as a chain; violence covereth them as a garment.

De aceea mândria le slujeşte ca salbă, şi asuprirea este haina care-i înveleşte.

They are not in trouble as others are; they are not stricken like the rest of mankind.

A kövérségtől kidülled a szemük, elméjük gondolatai csaponganak.

A kövérség miatt kinn ülnek az ő szemeik, elméjök gondolatjai csaponganak.

Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.

Li se bulbucă ochii de grăsime, şi au mai mult decât le-ar dori inima.

Therefore pride is their necklace; violence covers them as a garment.

Gúnyolódnak, gonoszul szólnak, fennhéjázva elnyomást emlegetnek.

Gúnyolódnak és gonoszságot szólnak; elnyomásról beszélnek fennhéjázással.

They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

Râd şi vorbesc cu răutate de asuprire: vorbesc de sus,

Their eyes swell out through fatness; their hearts overflow with follies.

Az ég ellen is föltátják szájukat, és nyelvüket körbejáratják a földön.

Az égre tátogatják szájokat, és nyelvök eljárja a földet.

They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

îşi înalţă gura până la ceruri, şi limba le cutreieră pământul.

They scoff and speak with malice; loftily they threaten oppression.

Ezért fordul feléjük a nép, és mint a vizet, mohón isszák szavukat.

Azért fordul az ő népe ide, hogy tele [pohár] vizet szürcsölnek;

Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

De aceea aleargă lumea la ei, înghite apă din plin

They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongue struts through the earth.

Azt mondják: Honnan tudná ezt Isten, lehet-e tudomása erről a Magasságosnak?

És mondják: Mint tudhatná ezt az Isten, s van-é a Magasságosban értelem?

And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

şi zice: „Ce ar putea să ştie Dumnezeu şi ce ar putea să cunoască Cel Preaînalt?”

Therefore his people turn back to them, and find no fault in them.

Íme, ezek a gonoszok! Örökös biztonságban vagyont gyűjtenek.

Ímé, ezek gonoszok, és örök biztonságban vagyont gyűjtenek!

Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.

Aşa sunt cei răi: totdeauna fericiţi, şi îşi măresc bogăţiile.

And they say, “How can God know? Is there knowledge in the Most High?”

Bizony hiába tartottam én tisztán szívemet, és hiába mostam ártatlanságban a kezemet.

Bizony hiába tartottam én tisztán szívemet, és mostam ártatlanságban kezeimet;

Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocency.

Degeaba, dar, mi-am curăţat eu inima şi mi-am spălat mâinile în nevinovăţie:

Behold, these are the wicked; always at ease, they increase in riches.

Mert nyomorúság ért minden napon, és ostorozás minden reggel!

Mert nyomorgattatom minden napon, és ostoroztatom minden reggel!

For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.

căci în fiecare zi sunt lovit şi în toate dimineţile sunt pedepsit.

All in vain have I kept my heart clean and washed my hands in innocence.

Ha azt mondtam volna: „Én is így beszélek”, íme, fiaid nemzedékét árultam volna el.

Ha azt mondom: Ilyen módon szólok: Ímé, a te fiaid nemzedékét árulom el.

If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of thy children.

Dacă aş zice: „Vreau să vorbesc ca ei”, iată că n-aş fi credincios neamului copiilor Tăi.

For all the day long I have been stricken and rebuked every morning.

Gondolkodtam ezen, hogy megérthessem, de túl nehéznek tűnt ez a szememben,

Gondolkodom, hogy ezt megérthessem; de nehéz dolog ez szemeimben.

When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;

M-am gândit la aceste lucruri ca să le pricep, dar zadarnică mi-a fost truda,

If I had said, “I will speak thus,” I would have betrayed the generation of your children.

míg be nem mentem az Isten szent helyére, és akkor megértettem sorsukat.

Mígnem bemenék az Isten szent helyébe: megértém azoknak sorsát.

Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.

până ce am intrat în Sfântul Locaş al lui Dumnezeu şi am luat seama la soarta de la urmă a celor răi.

But when I thought how to understand this, it seemed to me a wearisome task,

Bizony síkos földre helyezted, pusztulásra vetetted őket.

Bizony síkos földön helyezted el őket; pusztaságokra vetetted ki őket.

Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction.

Da, Tu-i pui în locuri alunecoase şi-i arunci în prăpăd.

until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I discerned their end.

Mind elpusztulnak egy szempillantás alatt! Elvesznek, elenyésznek a rettegéstől.

How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.

Cum sunt nimiciţi într-o clipă! Sunt pierduţi, prăpădiţi printr-un sfârşit năprasnic.

Truly you set them in slippery places; you make them fall to ruin.

Ha fölkelsz, Uram, úgy veted el őket, mint az álomképet ébredés után.

Mint álmot, ha felserkenünk: te Uram, ha felserkensz, [úgy ]veted meg képöket.

As a dream when one awaketh; so, O Lord, when thou awakest, thou shalt despise their image.

Ca un vis la deşteptare, aşa le lepezi chipul, Doamne, la deşteptarea Ta!

How they are destroyed in a moment, swept away utterly by terrors!

Hogyha keseregne szívem, és háborognának veséim,

Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.

Când mi se amăra inima şi mă simţeam străpuns în măruntaie,

Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when you rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.

akkor olyan balga és tudatlan volnék előtted, mint az oktalan állat.

Akkor balgatag és tudatlan volnék én, oktalan állat volnék te irántad.

So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before thee.

eram prost şi fără judecată, eram ca un dobitoc înaintea Ta.

When my soul was embittered, when I was pricked in heart,

De én mindig veled vagyok, te fogod jobb kezemet.

De én mindenkor veled vagyok, te fogod az én jobb kezemet.

Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand.

Însă eu sunt totdeauna cu Tine, Tu m-ai apucat de mâna dreaptă;

I was brutish and ignorant; I was like a beast toward you.

Tanácsoddal igazgatsz engem, és azután befogadsz a dicsőségbe.

Tanácsoddal igazgatsz engem, és azután dicsőségbe fogadsz be engem.

Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

mă vei călăuzi cu sfatul Tău, apoi mă vei primi în slavă.

Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.

Kicsodám van az egekben? Rajtad kívül másban nem gyönyörködöm e földön!

Kicsodám van az egekben? Náladnál egyébben nem gyönyörködöm e földön!

Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.

Pe cine altul am eu în cer în afară de Tine? Şi pe pământ nu-mi găsesc plăcerea în nimeni decât în Tine.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory.

Ha elfogyatkozik is testem és szívem, szívem kősziklája és az én örökségem te vagy, Istenem, mindörökké!

Ha elfogyatkozik is testem és szívem: szívemnek kősziklája és az én örökségem te vagy, oh Isten, mindörökké!

My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.

Carnea şi inima pot să mi se prăpădească: fiindcă Dumnezeu va fi pururi stânca inimii mele şi partea mea de moştenire.

Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you.

Mert íme, elvesznek, akik eltávoznak tőled, mind kiirtod azokat, akik elhajolnak tőled.

Mert ímé, a kik eltávoznak tőled, elvesznek; mind kiirtod azokat, a kik elhajolnak tőled.

For, lo, they that are far from thee shall perish: thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.

Căci iată că cei ce se depărtează de Tine pier; Tu nimiceşti pe toţi cei ce-Ţi sunt necredincioşi.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

De nekem oly igen jó Isten közelsége! Az ÚR Istent tartom menedékemnek, ezért hirdetem minden cselekedetedet.

De én? Isten közelsége oly igen jó nékem. Az Úr Istenben vetem reménységemet, hogy hirdessem minden te cselekedetedet.

But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord GOD, that I may declare all thy works.

Cât pentru mine, fericirea mea este să mă apropii de Dumnezeu: pe Domnul Dumnezeu Îl fac locul meu de adăpost, ca să povestesc toate lucrările Tale.

For behold, those who are far from you shall perish; you put an end to everyone who is unfaithful to you.
