Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee.

Doamne, ascultă-mi rugăciunea şi s-ajungă strigătul meu până la Tine!

A Prayer of one afflicted, when he is faint and pours out his complaint before the LORD.

URam, hallgasd meg imádságomat, és jusson hozzád kiáltásom!

Uram, hallgasd meg az én imádságomat, és kiáltásom jusson te hozzád!

Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

Nu-mi ascunde faţa Ta în ziua necazului meu! Pleacă-Ţi urechea spre mine, când strig! Ascultă-mă degrabă!

Hear my prayer, O LORD; let my cry come to you!

Ne rejtsd el arcodat előlem, mikor szorongatnak engem; fordítsd felém füledet, mikor kiáltok, hamar hallgass meg engem!

Ne rejtsd el a te orczádat tőlem; mikor szorongatnak engem, hajtsd hozzám a te füledet; mikor kiáltok, hamar hallgass meg engem!

For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

Căci zilele mele pier ca fumul, şi oasele îmi ard ca un tăciune.

Do not hide your face from me in the day of my distress! Incline your ear to me; answer me speedily in the day when I call!

Mert elenyésznek napjaim, mint a füst, és égnek a csontjaim, mint valami tűzhely.

My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread.

Inima îmi este lovită şi mi se usucă întocmai ca iarba; până şi pâinea uit să mi-o mănânc.

For my days pass away like smoke, and my bones burn like a furnace.

Szívem olyan, mint a letarolt és kiszáradt fű, még enni is elfelejtkezem.

Letaroltatott és megszáradt, mint a fű az én szívem; még kenyerem megevéséről is elfelejtkezem.

By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

Aşa de mari îmi sunt gemetele, că mi se lipesc oasele de carne.

My heart is struck down like grass and has withered; I forget to eat my bread.

I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

Because of my loud groaning my bones cling to my flesh.

For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

All the day my enemies taunt me; those who deride me use my name for a curse.

For I eat ashes like bread and mingle tears with my drink,

My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

because of your indignation and anger; for you have taken me up and thrown me down.

But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

My days are like an evening shadow; I wither away like grass.

De te, URam, örökké megmaradsz, nemzedékről nemzedékre emlegetnek.

De te Uram örökké megmaradsz, és a te emlékezeted nemzetségről nemzetségre [áll.]

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Tu Te vei scula şi vei avea milă de Sion; căci este vremea să Te înduri de el, a venit vremea hotărâtă pentru el.

But you, O LORD, are enthroned forever; you are remembered throughout all generations.

For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

Căci robii Tăi iubesc pietrele Sionului şi le e milă de ţărâna lui.

You will arise and have pity on Zion; it is the time to favor her; the appointed time has come.

Mert annak még a köveit is kedvelik szolgáid, és a porán is szánakoznak.

So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

Atunci se vor teme neamurile de Numele Domnului, şi toţi împăraţii pământului, de slava Ta.

For your servants hold her stones dear and have pity on her dust.

Félik majd az ÚR nevét a népek és a föld minden királya a te dicsőségedet,

És félik a népek az Úrnak nevét, és e földnek minden királya a te dicsőségedet;

When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

Da, Domnul va zidi iarăşi Sionul şi Se va arăta în slava Sa.

Nations will fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth will fear your glory.

He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

El ia aminte la rugăciunea nevoiaşului şi nu-i nesocoteşte rugăciunea.

For the LORD builds up Zion; he appears in his glory;

Odafordul a gyámoltalanok imádsága felé, és nem utálja meg imádságukat.

Oda fordult a gyámoltalanok imádsága felé, és azoknak imádságát meg nem útálta.

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Să se scrie lucrul acesta pentru neamul de oameni care va veni, şi poporul care se va naşte să laude pe Domnul!

he regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.

Jegyezzék föl ezt a következő nemzedéknek, hogy a nép, amely még ezután lesz teremtve, dicsérhesse az URat.

Irattassék meg ez a következő nemzedéknek, és a teremtendő nép dicsérni fogja az Urat.

For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

Căci El priveşte din înălţimea sfinţeniei Lui; Domnul priveşte din ceruri pe pământ,

Let this be recorded for a generation to come, so that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD:

Mert letekintett az ÚR szentsége magaslatáról, lenézett az ÚR a mennyekből a földre,

Mert alátekintett az ő szentségének magaslatáról; a mennyekből a földre nézett le az Úr.

To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

ca să audă gemetele prinşilor de război şi să izbăvească pe cei ce sunt pe moarte;

that he looked down from his holy height; from heaven the LORD looked at the earth,

hogy meghallja a foglyok sóhajtozását, és feloldozza a halálnak fiait.

To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

pentru ca ei să vestească în Sion Numele Domnului, şi laudele Lui, în Ierusalim,

to hear the groans of the prisoners, to set free those who were doomed to die,

When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

that they may declare in Zion the name of the LORD, and in Jerusalem his praise,

He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

when peoples gather together, and kingdoms, to worship the LORD.

Megtörte erőmet az úton, megrövidítette napjaimat.

Megsanyargatta az én erőmet ez útban, megrövidítette napjaimat.

I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations.

Eu zic: „Dumnezeule, nu mă lua la jumătatea zilelor mele, Tu, ai cărui ani ţin veşnic!”

He has broken my strength in midcourse; he has shortened my days.

Ezt mondtam: Én Istenem! Ne vigyél el engem napjaim felénél, te, kinek esztendei nemzedékről nemzedékre tartanak.

Ezt mondám: Én Istenem! Ne vígy el engem az én napjaimnak felén; a te esztendeid nemzedékek nemzedékéig [tartanak.]

Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

Tu ai întemeiat în vechime pământul, şi cerurile sunt lucrarea mâinilor Tale.

“O my God,” I say, “take me not away in the midst of my days— you whose years endure throughout all generations!”

Te vetettél réges-régen alapot a földnek, az egek is a te kezed munkái.

Régente fundáltad a földet, s az egek is a te kezednek munkája.

They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

Ele vor pieri, dar Tu vei rămâne; toate se vor învechi ca o haină; le vei schimba ca pe un veşmânt, şi se vor schimba.

Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands.

Azok elenyésznek, de te megmaradsz. Azok elavulnak, mint a ruha, lecseréled őket, mint az öltözetet. Bizony elváltoznak,

Azok elvesznek, de te megmaradsz; mindazok elavulnak, mint a ruha; mint az öltözetet, elváltoztatod azokat, és elváltoznak.

But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Dar Tu rămâi Acelaşi, şi anii Tăi nu se vor sfârşi.

They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,

de te ugyanaz vagy, és éveid nem fogynak el.

De te ugyanaz vagy, és a te esztendeid el nem fogynak.

The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.

Fiii robilor Tăi îşi vor locui ţara, şi sămânţa lor va rămâne înaintea Ta.

but you are the same, and your years have no end.

Szolgáid fiai megmaradnak, és utódaik is színed előtt lakoznak.

[A te szolgáidnak fiai megmaradnak, és az ő magvok erősen megáll előtted.]
