Az éneklőmesternek a Jónathelem rehokimra; Dávidnak miktámja; mikor megragadták őt a filiszteusok Gáthban.

Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me.

Ai milă de mine, Dumnezeule! Căci nişte oameni mă hărţuiesc. Toată ziua îmi fac război şi mă chinuiesc.

Könyörülj rajtam, Istenem, mert a halandó ember eltipor engem! Mindennap támadnak és nyomorgatnak.

Könyörülj rajtam Istenem, mert halandó tátog ellenem és mindennap hadakozván, nyomorgat engem!

Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O thou most High.

Toată ziua mă hărţuiesc potrivnicii mei; sunt mulţi, şi se războiesc cu mine ca nişte trufaşi.

Be gracious to me, O God, for man tramples on me; all day long an attacker oppresses me;

Ellenségeim mindennap bosszút lihegnek ellenem; bizony sokan hadakoznak ellenem gőgösen.

Ellenségeim minden napon tátognak reám: bizony sokan hadakoznak ellenem, oh magasságos [Isten!]

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Ori de câte ori mă tem, eu mă încred în Tine.

my enemies trample on me all day long, for many attack me proudly.

Mikor félnem kellene is, én benned bízom.

Mikor félnem kellene is, én bízom te benned.

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Eu mă voi lăuda cu Dumnezeu, cu cuvântul Lui. Mă încred în Dumnezeu şi nu mă tem de nimic: ce pot să-mi facă nişte oameni?

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Istenben, akinek igéjét dicsőítem; Istenben bízom, nem félek, ember mit árthatna nekem?

Isten által dicsekedem az ő igéjével; az Istenben bizom, nem félek; ember mit árthatna nékem?

Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

Întruna ei îmi ating drepturile şi n-au decât gânduri rele faţă de mine.

In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can flesh do to me?

Minduntalan kiforgatják szavaimat, minden gondolatukkal azon vannak, hogy ártsanak nekem.

Minden nap elforgatják beszédeimet; minden gondolatjok ellenem van, ártalomra.

They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.

Uneltesc, pândesc şi îmi urmăresc paşii, pentru că vor să-mi ia viaţa.

All day long they injure my cause; all their thoughts are against me for evil.

Egybegyűlnek, elrejtőznek, lépteimet lesik, mert lelkemet kívánják.

Egybegyűlnek, elrejtőznek, sarkaimat lesik, mert kivánják az én lelkemet.

Shall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the people, O God.

Ei trag nădejde să scape prin nelegiuirea lor: doboară popoarele, Dumnezeule, în mânia Ta!

They stir up strife, they lurk; they watch my steps, as they have waited for my life.

Megmenekülhetnek-e gonoszságuk ellenére? Pusztítsd el haragoddal e népeket, Istenem!

Gonoszsággal menekedhetnének? Haraggal rontsd meg, oh Isten, a népeket!

Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

Tu numeri paşii vieţii mele de pribeag; pune-mi lacrimile în burduful Tău: nu sunt ele scrise în cartea Ta?

For their crime will they escape? In wrath cast down the peoples, O God!

Számon tartod bujdosásomat, gyűjtsd tömlődbe könnyeimet, vajon nincsenek-e benne könyvedben?!

Bujdosásomnak számát jól tudod: szedd tömlődbe könnyeimet! Avagy nem tudod-é azoknak számát?

When I cry unto thee, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

Vrăjmaşii mei dau înapoi în ziua când Te strig: ştiu că Dumnezeu este de partea mea.

You have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?

Meghátrálnak majd ellenségeim, amikor hozzád kiáltok, ebből tudom meg, hogy Isten velem van.

Meghátrálnak majd ellenségeim, mikor kiáltok; így tudom meg, hogy velem van az Isten.

In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

Eu mă voi lăuda cu Dumnezeu, cu cuvântul Lui, da, mă voi lăuda cu Domnul, cu cuvântul Lui.

Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me.

Dicsérem Istent ígéretéért, dicsérem az URat ígéretéért.

Dicsérem Istent, az ő ígéretéért, dicsérem az Urat az ő igéretéért.

In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Mă încred în Dumnezeu şi nu mă tem de nimic: ce pot să-mi facă nişte oameni?

In God, whose word I praise, in the LORD, whose word I praise,

Thy vows are upon me, O God: I will render praises unto thee.

Dumnezeule, trebuie să împlinesc juruinţele pe care Ţi le-am făcut; Îţi voi aduce jertfe de mulţumire.

in God I trust; I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Istenem, tartozom a neked tett fogadalmaimmal, megadom neked hálaáldozatomat.

Tartozom, oh Isten, az én néked tett fogadásaimmal; megadom néked a hálaáldozatokat;

For thou hast delivered my soul from death: wilt not thou deliver my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living?

Căci mi-ai izbăvit sufletul de la moarte, mi-ai ferit picioarele de cădere, ca să umblu înaintea lui Dumnezeu, în lumina celor vii.

I must perform my vows to you, O God; I will render thank offerings to you.

Mert megszabadítottad lelkemet a haláltól, sőt lábamat az eleséstől, hogy Isten előtt járjak az élet világosságában.
