Amint a szarvas kívánkozik a folyóvízhez, úgy vágyik utánad a lelkem, Istenem!

Mint a szarvas kivánkozik a folyóvizekre, úgy kivánkozik az én lelkem hozzád, oh Isten!

My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Sufletul meu însetează după Dumnezeu, după Dumnezeul cel Viu; când mă voi duce şi mă voi arăta înaintea lui Dumnezeu?

As a deer pants for flowing streams, so pants my soul for you, O God.

Isten után szomjazik lelkem, az élő Isten után. Mikor mehetek el, hogy megjelenjek Isten előtt?

Szomjuhozik lelkem Istenhez, az élő Istenhez; mikor mehetek el és jelenhetek meg Isten előtt?

My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God?

Cu lacrimi mă hrănesc zi şi noapte, când mi se zice fără încetare: „Unde este Dumnezeul tău?”

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and appear before God?

Éjjel és nappal könnyhullatásom volt a kenyerem, mikor mindennap azt mondták nekem: Hol van a te Istened?

Könyhullatásom volt kenyerem éjjel és nappal, mikor mindennap azt mondták nékem: "Hol van a te Istened?"

When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

Mi-aduc aminte şi-mi vărs tot focul inimii în mine, când mă gândesc cum mergeam înconjurat de mulţime şi cum înaintam în fruntea ei spre Casa lui Dumnezeu, în mijlocul strigătelor de bucurie şi mulţumire ale unei mulţimi în sărbătoare.

My tears have been my food day and night, while they say to me all the day long, “Where is your God?”

Amikor kiöntöm lelkemet, ezekről emlékezem: milyen nagy csoportban vonultam azelőtt, és milyen hangos ujjongással és hálaadással vezettem az ünneplő sokaságot Isten házáig.

Mikor ezekről emlékezem, megkeseredem lelkemben; mert nagy csoportban vonultam [ezelőtt] és ujjongó örömmel és hálaadással vezettem őket, az ünneplő sokaságot, az Isten házáig.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

Pentru ce te mâhneşti, suflete, şi gemi înăuntrul meu? Nădăjduieşte în Dumnezeu, căci iarăşi Îl voi lăuda; El este mântuirea mea şi Dumnezeul meu.

These things I remember, as I pour out my soul: how I would go with the throng and lead them in procession to the house of God with glad shouts and songs of praise, a multitude keeping festival.

Miért csüggedsz el, lelkem, miért nyugtalankodsz bennem? Bízzál Istenben, mert még hálát adok neki az ő szabadításáért!

Miért csüggedsz el lelkem és nyughatatlankodol bennem? Bízzál Istenben, mert még hálát adok én néki az ő orczájának szabadításáért.

O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember thee from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.

Îmi este mâhnit sufletul în mine, Dumnezeule; de aceea la Tine mă gândesc, din ţara Iordanului, din Hermon şi din muntele Miţear.

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation

Istenem, elcsügged bennem a lelkem, azért megemlékezem rólad a Jordán földjéről és a Hermónról, a Micár hegyéről.

Istenem! elcsügged bennem az én lelkem; azért emlékezem reád a Jordán és Hermon földjéről, a Miczár hegyéről.

Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me.

Un val cheamă un alt val, la vuietul căderii apelor Tale; toate talazurile şi valurile Tale trec peste mine.

and my God. My soul is cast down within me; therefore I remember you from the land of Jordan and of Hermon, from Mount Mizar.

Deep calls to deep at the roar of your waterfalls; all your breakers and your waves have gone over me.

Nappal kegyelmét küldte hozzám az ÚR, éjjel éneke volt velem, imádság életem Istenéhez.

Nappal kiküldte kegyelmét az Úr, éjjel éneke volt velem, imádság az én életem Istenéhez.

I will say unto God my rock, Why hast thou forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

De aceea, zic lui Dumnezeu, stânca mea: „Pentru ce mă uiţi? Pentru ce trebuie să umblu plin de întristare, sub apăsarea vrăjmaşului?”

By day the LORD commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.

As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God?

Parcă mi se sfărâmă oasele cu sabia, când mă batjocoresc vrăjmaşii mei şi-mi zic neîncetat: „Unde este Dumnezeul tău?”

I say to God, my rock: “Why have you forgotten me? Why do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?”

Olyan, mintha csontjaimat zúznák össze, amikor szorongatóim gyaláznak engem, és naponként azt mondják nekem: Hol van a te Istened?

Mintha zúzódás volna csontjaimban, mikor gyaláznak engem az én szorongatóim, naponként ezt mondván nékem: Hol van a te Istened?

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Pentru ce te mâhneşti, suflete, şi gemi înăuntrul meu? Nădăjduieşte în Dumnezeu, căci iarăşi Îl voi lăuda; El este mântuirea mea şi Dumnezeul meu.

As with a deadly wound in my bones, my adversaries taunt me, while they say to me all the day long, “Where is your God?”
