Ének; Aszáf zsoltára.

Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God.

Dumnezeule, nu tăcea! Nu tăcea şi nu Te odihni, Dumnezeule!

Istenem, ne maradj veszteg, ne hallgass, ó, Istenem, ne légy tétlen!

Isten, ne vesztegelj, ne hallgass és ne nyugodjál, Isten!

For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head.

Căci iată că vrăjmaşii Tăi se frământă, şi cei ce Te urăsc înalţă capul.

O God, do not keep silence; do not hold your peace or be still, O God!

Mert íme, háborognak ellenségeid, és gyűlölőid fölemelik fejüket.

Mert ímé, háborognak ellenségeid, s gyűlölőid fejöket emelik.

They have taken crafty counsel against thy people, and consulted against thy hidden ones.

Fac planuri pline de vicleşug împotriva poporului Tău şi se sfătuiesc împotriva celor ocrotiţi de Tine.

For behold, your enemies make an uproar; those who hate you have raised their heads.

Néped ellen ravasz terveket szőnek, és tanácskoznak védenceid ellen.

Néped ellen álnok tanácsot gondolnak s védenczeid ellen terveket szőnek.

They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

„Veniţi”, zic ei, „să-i nimicim din mijlocul neamurilor, ca să nu se mai pomenească numele lui Israel!”

They lay crafty plans against your people; they consult together against your treasured ones.

Azt mondják: Gyertek, veszítsük el őket, hogy megszűnjön e nép, és ne emlegessék többé Izráel nevét!

Ezt mondják: Jertek, veszessük el őket, hogy ne legyenek nemzet, hogy ne emlegessék többé Izráel nevét!

For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee:

Se strâng toţi cu o inimă, fac un legământ împotriva Ta:

They say, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be remembered no more!”

Együtt, egy szívvel tanácskoztak, szövetséget kötöttek ellened:

The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes;

For they conspire with one accord; against you they make a covenant—

the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites,

Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah.

Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison:

Fă-le ca lui Madian, ca lui Sisera, ca lui Iabin la pârâul Chison,

Asshur also has joined them; they are the strong arm of the children of Lot. Selah

Úgy bánj velük, mint Midjánnal, mint Siserával, mint Jábinnal a Kísón- pataknál;

Úgy bánj velök, mint Midjánnal, mint Siserával, mint Jábinnal a Kison patakjánál!

Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth.

care au fost nimiciţi la En-Dor, şi au ajuns un gunoi pentru îngrăşarea pământului.

Do to them as you did to Midian, as to Sisera and Jabin at the river Kishon,

akik elvesztek Éndórnál, és a föld trágyájává lettek.

A kik elvesztek vala Endornál, [és] a föld szemetjévé lőnek.

Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna:

Căpeteniilor lor fă-le ca lui Oreb şi Zeeb, şi tuturor domnilor lor ca lui Zebah şi Ţalmuna!

who were destroyed at En-dor, who became dung for the ground.

Tedd őket és előkelőiket olyanná, mint Órebet és Zeébet, mint Zebahot és Calmunnát minden fejedelmükkel együtt,

Tedd őket, fejedelmöket olyanokká, mint Orebet s mint Zeébet, Zebahot és Szalmunát, minden felkentjökkel,

Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession.

Căci ei zic: „Să punem mâna pe locuinţele lui Dumnezeu!”

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

akik ezt mondták: Foglaljuk el magunknak Isten hajlékát!

O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind.

Dumnezeule, fă-i ca vârtejul de praf, ca paiul luat de vânt,

who said, “Let us take possession for ourselves of the pastures of God.”

Istenem! Tedd őket olyanná, amilyen a forgószél és amilyen a szélfútta polyva.

Én Istenem! Tedd őket olyanokká, a milyen a porfelhő, [és ]a milyen a polyva a szél előtt;

As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire;

ca focul care arde pădurea şi ca flacăra care aprinde munţii!

O my God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff before the wind.

Ahogyan a tűz fölgyújtja az erdőt, és a láng fölégeti a hegyeket,

Olyanokká, mint a tűz, a mely meggyújtja az erdőt, és mint a láng, a mely elégeti a hegyeket.

So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

Urmăreşte-i astfel cu furtuna Ta şi bagă groaza în ei cu vijelia Ta!

As fire consumes the forest, as the flame sets the mountains ablaze,

úgy kergesd őket szélvészeddel, és úgy rettentsd őket forgószeleddel!

Így kergesd őket a te szélvészeddel, és forgószeleddel így rettentsd őket!

Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD.

Acoperă-le faţa de ruşine, ca să caute Numele Tău, Doamne!

so may you pursue them with your tempest and terrify them with your hurricane!

Borítsd be arcukat gyalázattal, hogy keressék, URam, a te nevedet!

Töltsd el orczájukat gyalázattal, hogy keressék Uram a te nevedet!

Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish:

Să fie ruşinaţi şi îngroziţi pe vecie, să le roşească obrazul de ruşine şi să piară!

Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek your name, O LORD.

Szégyenüljenek meg, és rettenjenek el örökre, piruljanak és pusztuljanak el!

Szégyenüljenek meg és rémüljenek el örökké, és piruljanak és pusztuljanak,

That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.

Ca să ştie că numai Tu, al cărui nume este Domnul, Tu eşti Cel Preaînalt pe tot pământul.

Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; let them perish in disgrace,

Tudják meg, hogy te, akinek ÚR a neve, egyedül te vagy felséges Isten az egész földön!

[Hogy megtudják, hogy te, a kinek neve Jehova, egymagad vagy felséges [Isten] az egész földön.]
