[A karmesternek: Dávidé.] Az ÚRban bízom. Hogy mondhatjátok lelkemnek: Menekülj a hegyre, mint a madár!

Az éneklőmesternek; Dávidé. Az Úrban bízom; hogy mondhatjátok az én lelkemnek: fuss a ti hegyetekre, mint a madár?!

In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

La Domnul găsesc scăpare! Cum puteţi să-mi spuneţi: „Fugi în munţii voştri, ca o pasăre”?

Mert íme, a gonoszok feszítik már az íjat, ráillesztették nyilukat a húrra, hogy a sötétből az igaz szívűekre lövöldözzenek.

Mert ímé, a gonoszok megvonják az íjat, ráillesztették nyilokat az idegre, hogy a sötétségben az igazszívűekre lövöldözzenek.

For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

Căci iată că cei răi îşi încordează arcul, îşi potrivesc săgeata pe coardă, ca să tragă pe ascuns asupra celor cu inima curată.

In the LORD I take refuge; how can you say to my soul, Flee like a bird to your mountain,

Ha az alapokat is lerombolják, mit tehet az igaz?

Mikor a fundamentomok is elrontattak, mit cselekedett az igaz?

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Şi, când se surpă temeliile, ce ar putea să mai facă cel neprihănit?

for behold, the wicked bend the bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string to shoot in the dark at the upright in heart;

Az ÚR ott van szent templomában; az ÚR trónja a mennyben van. Szeme látja, szemöldöke megvizsgálja az emberek fiait.

Az Úr az ő szent templomában, az Úr trónja az egekben; az ő szemei látják, szemöldökei megpróbálják az emberek fiait.

The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

Domnul este în templul Lui cel sfânt, Domnul Îşi are scaunul de domnie în ceruri. Ochii Lui privesc, şi pleoapele Lui cercetează pe fiii oamenilor.

if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Az ÚR megvizsgálja az igazat és a gonoszt, gyűlöli a lelke az álnokság kedvelőjét.

Az Úr az igazat megpróbálja, a gonoszt pedig, az álnokság kedvelőjét, gyűlöli az ő lelke.

The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Domnul încearcă pe cel neprihănit, dar urăşte pe cel rău şi pe cel ce iubeşte silnicia.

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven; his eyes see, his eyelids test the children of man.

Hálót hullat a gonoszokra; tűz, kénkő és égető szél az osztályrészük!

Hálókat hullat a gonoszokra; tűz, kénkő és égető szél az ő osztályrészök!

Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Peste cei răi plouă cărbuni, foc şi pucioasă: un vânt dogoritor, iată paharul de care au ei parte.

The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.

Mert az ÚR igaz. Szereti az igazságot, az igazak meglátják az arcát.

Mert az Úr igaz; igazságot szeret, az igazak látják az ő orczáját.

For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Căci Domnul este drept, iubeşte dreptatea, şi cei neprihăniţi privesc faţa Lui.

Let him rain coals on the wicked; fire and sulfur and a scorching wind shall be the portion of their cup.
