Miért mondanák a népek: Hol van hát az ő Istenük?

Miért mondanák a pogányok: Hol van hát az ő Istenök?

Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?

Pentru ce să zică neamurile: „Unde este Dumnezeul lor?”

Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?”

A mi Istenünk az égben van, és mindent megtesz, amit csak akar.

Pedig a mi Istenünk az égben van, és a mit akar, azt mind megcselekszi.

But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

Dumnezeul nostru este în cer, El face tot ce vrea.

Our God is in the heavens; he does all that he pleases.

Az ő bálványaik ezüstből és aranyból vannak, emberi kéz munkái.

Azoknak bálványa ezüst és arany, emberi kezek munkája.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.

Van szájuk, de nem szólnak, van szemük, de nem látnak.

Szájok van, de nem szólanak; szemeik vannak, de nem látnak;

They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

Au gură, dar nu vorbesc, au ochi, dar nu văd,

They have mouths, but do not speak; eyes, but do not see.

Van fülük, de nem hallanak, van orruk, de nem szagolnak.

Füleik vannak, de nem hallanak; orruk van, de nem szagolnak;

They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:

au urechi, dar n-aud, au nas, dar nu miros,

They have ears, but do not hear; noses, but do not smell.

Van kezük, de nem tapintanak, van lábuk, de nem járnak, nem jön ki hang a torkukból.

Kezeik vannak, de nem tapintanak, lábaik vannak, de nem járnak, nem szólanak az ő torkukkal.

They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.

au mâini, dar nu pipăie, picioare, dar nu merg; nu scot niciun sunet din gâtlejul lor.

They have hands, but do not feel; feet, but do not walk; and they do not make a sound in their throat.

Hozzájuk hasonlók lesznek a készítőik és mindazok, akik bennük bíznak!

Hasonlók legyenek azokhoz készítőik, [és] mindazok, a kik bíznak bennök!

They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.

Ca ei sunt cei ce-i fac, toţi cei ce se încred în ei.

Those who make them become like them; so do all who trust in them.

Izráel, az ÚRban bízzál! Segítséged és pajzsod ő.

Izráel! te az Úrban bízzál; az ilyenek segítsége és paizsa ő.

O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

Israele, încrede-te în Domnul! El este ajutorul şi scutul lor.

O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Áron háza, az ÚRban bízzál! Segítséged és pajzsod ő.

Áronnak háza! az Úrban bízzál; az ilyenek segítsége és paizsa ő.

O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

Akik félitek az URat, az ÚRban bízzatok! Segítségetek és pajzsotok ő.

A kik félitek az Urat, az Úrban bízzatok; az ilyenek segítsége és paizsa ő.

Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.

Cei ce vă temeţi de Domnul, încredeţi-vă în Domnul! El este ajutorul şi scutul lor.

You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.

Gondol ránk az ÚR, és megáld minket. Megáldja Izráel házát, megáldja Áron házát.

Az Úr megemlékezik mi rólunk [és] megáld [minket]; megáldja Izráel házát, megáldja Áronnak házát.

The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.

Domnul Şi-aduce aminte de noi: El va binecuvânta, va binecuvânta casa lui Israel, va binecuvânta casa lui Aaron,

The LORD has remembered us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron;

Megáldja azokat, akik félik az URat, kicsinyeket és nagyokat.

Megáldja azokat, a kik félik az Urat, a kicsinyeket és a nagyokat.

He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.

va binecuvânta pe cei ce se tem de Domnul, pe cei mici şi pe cei mari.

he will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and the great.

Szaporítson meg titeket az ÚR, titeket és fiaitokat!

Szaporítson titeket az Úr, titeket és a ti fiaitokat.

The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

Domnul să vă înmulţească tot mai mult, pe voi şi pe copiii voştri!

May the LORD give you increase, you and your children!

Az ÚR áldottai vagytok, aki a mennyet és a földet teremtette.

Áldottai vagytok ti az Úrnak, a ki teremtette a mennyet és a földet.

Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.

Fiţi binecuvântaţi de Domnul, care a făcut cerurile şi pământul!

May you be blessed by the LORD, who made heaven and earth!

Az egek az ÚR egei, de a földet az ember fiainak adta.

Az egek az Úrnak egei, de a földet az ember fiainak adta.

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

Cerurile sunt ale Domnului, dar pământul l-a dat fiilor oamenilor.

The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but the earth he has given to the children of man.

Nem a halottak dicsérik az URat, sem azok, akik leszállnak a csöndességbe,

Nem a meghaltak dicsérik az Urat, sem nem azok, a kik alászállanak a csendességbe.

The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.

Nu morţii laudă pe Domnul şi nici vreunul din cei ce se coboară în locul tăcerii,

The dead do not praise the LORD, nor do any who go down into silence.
