I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

Voi cânta totdeauna îndurările Domnului, voi spune din neam în neam, cu gura mea, credincioşia Ta.

For I have said, Mercy shall be built up for ever: thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant,

For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever; in the heavens you will establish your faithfulness.”

Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah.

You have said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one; I have sworn to David my servant:

Örökre megerősítem utódaidat, és nemzedékről nemzedékre megszilárdítom királyi trónodat. [Szela]

Mindörökké megerősítem a te magodat, és nemzetségről nemzetségre megépítem a te királyi székedet. Szela.

And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD: thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

Cerurile laudă minunile Tale, Doamne, şi credincioşia Ta în adunarea sfinţilor!

‘I will establish your offspring forever, and build your throne for all generations.’” Selah

Az egek magasztalják csodálatos tetteidet, URam, hűségedet is a szentek gyülekezetében.

És az egek dicsérik a te csodadolgodat Uram; a te hűséges voltodat is a szentek gyülekezetében.

For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?

Căci, în cer, cine se poate asemăna cu Domnul? Cine este ca Tine între fiii lui Dumnezeu?

Let the heavens praise your wonders, O LORD, your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones!

Mert kicsoda van a felhőkben, aki az ÚRhoz hasonlítható volna, s ki olyan, mint az ÚR a Hatalmas fiai között?

Mert a felhőkben kicsoda hasonlatos az Úrhoz, [s ki] olyan, mint az Úr, az istenek fiai között?

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.

Dumnezeu este înfricoşat în adunarea cea mare a sfinţilor şi de temut pentru toţi cei ce stau în jurul Lui.

For who in the skies can be compared to the LORD? Who among the heavenly beings is like the LORD,

O LORD God of hosts, who is a strong LORD like unto thee? or to thy faithfulness round about thee?

a God greatly to be feared in the council of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around him?

URam, Seregek Istene! Kicsoda olyan erős, mint te, URam? Hűséged körülvesz téged.

Uram, Seregeknek Istene! Kicsoda olyan erős, mint te vagy Uram? És a te hűséges voltod körülvesz téged.

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.

Tu îmblânzeşti mândria mării; când se ridică valurile ei, Tu le potoleşti.

O LORD God of hosts, who is mighty as you are, O LORD, with your faithfulness all around you?

Te uralkodsz a tenger háborgásán, mikor hullámai tornyosulnak, te lecsöndesíted őket.

Te uralkodol a tengernek kevélységén; mikor az ő habjai felemelkednek, te csendesíted le azokat.

Thou hast broken Rahab in pieces, as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

Tu ai zdrobit Egiptul ca pe un hoit, ai risipit pe vrăjmaşii Tăi prin puterea braţului Tău.

You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, you still them.

Te döfted át halálosan Ráhábot, erős karoddal szélnek eresztetted ellenségeidet.

The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

Ale Tale sunt cerurile şi pământul, Tu ai întemeiat lumea şi tot ce cuprinde ea.

You crushed Rahab like a carcass; you scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

Tied az ég, és tied a föld is, te vetettél alapot e világnak és mindennek, ami betölti.

Tieid az egek, a föld is a tied: e világot minden benne valóval te fundáltad.

The north and the south thou hast created them: Tabor and Hermon shall rejoice in thy name.

Tu ai făcut miazănoaptea şi miazăziua; Taborul şi Hermonul se bucură de Numele Tău.

The heavens are yours; the earth also is yours; the world and all that is in it, you have founded them.

Te teremtettél északot és délt; nevednek ujjong a Tábor és a Hermón.

Az északot és a délt te teremtetted, a Thábor és a Hermon a te nevednek örvendeznek.

Thou hast a mighty arm: strong is thy hand, and high is thy right hand.

Braţul Tău este puternic, mâna Ta este tare, dreapta Ta este înălţată.

The north and the south, you have created them; Tabor and Hermon joyously praise your name.

Karod hatalmas, kezed erős, jobbod méltóságos.

A te karod hatalommal teljes, a te kezed erős, a te jobbod méltóságos.

Justice and judgment are the habitation of thy throne: mercy and truth shall go before thy face.

Dreptatea şi judecata sunt temelia scaunului Tău de domnie; bunătatea şi credincioşia sunt înaintea feţei Tale.

You have a mighty arm; strong is your hand, high your right hand.

Blessed is the people that know the joyful sound: they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

Ferice de poporul care cunoaşte sunetul trâmbiţei, care umblă în lumina feţei Tale, Doamne!

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you.

Boldog nép az, amely érti a kürt szavát, amely arcod világosságánál jár, ó, URam!

Boldog nép az, a mely megérti a kürt szavát; a te orczádnak világosságánál jár ez, oh Uram!

In thy name shall they rejoice all the day: and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

El se bucură neîncetat de Numele Tău şi se făleşte cu dreptatea Ta.

Blessed are the people who know the festal shout, who walk, O LORD, in the light of your face,

Nevednek örvendeznek mindennap, igazságod fölmagasztalja őket.

A te nevedben örvendeznek egész nap; és a te igazságodban felmagasztaltatnak.

For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted.

Căci Tu eşti fala puterii lui; şi, în bunăvoinţa Ta, ne ridici puterea noastră.

who exult in your name all the day and in your righteousness are exalted.

Mert te vagy erejük ékessége; jóakaratod emeli föl a mi szarvunkat is.

Mert az ő erejöknek ékessége te vagy; a te jóakaratoddal emeled fel a mi szarvunkat is.

For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.

Căci Domnul este scutul nostru; Sfântul lui Israel este Împăratul nostru.

For you are the glory of their strength; by your favor our horn is exalted.

Mert az ÚRtól van a mi pajzsunk és Izráel Szentjétől a mi királyunk.

Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people.

Atunci ai vorbit într-o vedenie preaiubitului Tău şi ai zis: „Am dat ajutorul Meu unui viteaz, am ridicat din mijlocul poporului un tânăr;

For our shield belongs to the LORD, our king to the Holy One of Israel.

Annak idején látomásban szóltál kegyeseidnek, és azt mondtad: Segítséget nyújtottam a vitéznek, fölmagasztaltam a népből választottat.

Akkor látásban szóltál a te kegyeltednek, és mondád: Segítséget adtam a vitéznek, felmagasztaltam a népből választottat;

I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

am găsit pe robul Meu David şi l-am uns cu untdelemnul Meu cel sfânt.

Of old you spoke in a vision to your godly one, and said: “I have granted help to one who is mighty; I have exalted one chosen from the people.

Megtaláltam szolgámat, Dávidot, szent olajommal kentem föl őt.

Megtaláltam Dávidot, az én szolgámat; szent olajommal kentem fel őt,

With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him.

Mâna Mea îl va sprijini, şi braţul Meu îl va întări.

I have found David, my servant; with my holy oil I have anointed him,

Kezem állandóan vele lesz, sőt az én karom erősíti meg őt.

A kivel állandóan vele lesz az én kezem, sőt az én karom erősíti meg őt.

The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

Vrăjmaşul nu-l va prinde, şi cel rău nu-l va apăsa;

so that my hand shall be established with him; my arm also shall strengthen him.

Nem igázza le őt az ellenség, és gonosz ember sem nyomorgatja.

Nem nyomhatja őt el az ellenség, és a gonosz ember sem nyomorgatja meg őt;

And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.

ci voi zdrobi dinaintea lui pe potrivnicii lui şi voi lovi pe cei ce-l urăsc.

The enemy shall not outwit him; the wicked shall not humble him.

But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

Credincioşia şi bunătatea Mea vor fi cu el, şi tăria lui se va înălţa prin Numele Meu.

I will crush his foes before him and strike down those who hate him.

Hűségem és kegyelmem vele lesz, és nevem által lesz magasztos a hatalma.

És vele lesz az én hűségem és kegyelmem, és az én nevemmel magasztaltatik fel az ő szarva.

I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

Voi da în mâna lui marea, şi în dreapta lui, râurile.

My faithfulness and my steadfast love shall be with him, and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

Ráteszem kezét a tengerre és jobbját a folyókra.

És rávetem az ő kezét a tengerre, és az ő jobbját a folyóvizekre.

He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

I will set his hand on the sea and his right hand on the rivers.

Így szólít engem: Atyám vagy, én Istenem, és szabadításom kősziklája!

Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.

Iar Eu îl voi face întâiul născut, cel mai înalt dintre împăraţii pământului.

He shall cry to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.’

Én meg elsőszülöttemmé teszem őt, és feljebbvalóvá a föld királyainál.

My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.

Îi voi păstra totdeauna bunătatea Mea, şi legământul Meu îi va fi neclintit.

And I will make him the firstborn, the highest of the kings of the earth.

Örökké megtartom kegyelmemet iránta, és nem szűnik meg szövetségem vele.

Örökké megtartom néki az én kegyelmemet, és az én szövetségem bizonyos [marad] ő vele.

His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.

Îi voi face veşnică sămânţa, şi scaunul lui de domnie, ca zilele cerurilor.

My steadfast love I will keep for him forever, and my covenant will stand firm for him.

30

Mindig törődöm magzatai megmaradásával és trónjával, amíg csak tartanak az ég napjai.

És az ő magvát örökkévalóvá teszem, és az ő királyi székét, mint az egeknek napjait.

If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;

Dacă fiii lui vor părăsi legea Mea şi nu vor umbla după poruncile Mele,

I will establish his offspring forever and his throne as the days of the heavens.

31

Ha fiai elhagyják tanításomat, és nem járnak végzéseim szerint,

Ha az ő fiai elhagyják az én törvényemet, és nem járnak az én végzéseim szerint;

If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

dacă vor călca orânduirile Mele şi nu vor păzi poruncile Mele,

If his children forsake my law and do not walk according to my rules,

ha megszegik rendelkezéseimet, és nem tartják meg parancsolataimat,

Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

atunci le voi pedepsi fărădelegile cu nuiaua, şi nelegiuirile cu lovituri;

if they violate my statutes and do not keep my commandments,

akkor vesszővel látogatom meg bűnüket és csapásokkal álnokságukat.

Akkor vesszővel látogatom meg az ő bűnöket, és vereségekkel az ő álnokságukat;

Nevertheless my lovingkindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

dar nu-Mi voi îndepărta deloc bunătatea de la ei şi nu-Mi voi face credincioşia de minciună;

then I will punish their transgression with the rod and their iniquity with stripes,

De kegyelmemet nem vonom meg tőle, és hűséges voltomban nem hazudom.

De az én kegyelmemet nem vonom meg tőle, és az én hűséges voltomban nem hazudom.

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

nu-Mi voi călca legământul şi nu voi schimba ce a ieşit de pe buzele Mele.

but I will not remove from him my steadfast love or be false to my faithfulness.

35

Nem szegem meg szövetségemet, és nem másítom meg, ami kijött a számból.

Nem töröm meg az én szövetségemet, és a mi kijött az én számból, el nem változtatom.

Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

Am jurat odată pe sfinţenia Mea: să mint Eu oare lui David?

I will not violate my covenant or alter the word that went forth from my lips.

Megesküdtem egyszer szentségemre; vajon megcsalhatnám-e Dávidot?

Megesküdtem egyszer az én szentségemre: vajjon megcsalhatnám-é Dávidot?

His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

Sămânţa lui va dăinui în veci; scaunul lui de domnie va fi înaintea Mea ca soarele;

Once for all I have sworn by my holiness; I will not lie to David.

37

Magva örökké megmarad, és királyi trónja olyan előttem, mint a Nap.

Az ő magva örökké megmarad, és az ő királyi széke olyan előttem, mint a nap.

It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.

His offspring shall endure forever, his throne as long as the sun before me.

38

Megáll örökké, mint a Hold: a hű tanú az égben. [Szela]

Megáll örökké, mint a hold, és bizonyos, mint a felhőben lévő bizonyság. Szela.

But thou hast cast off and abhorred, thou hast been wroth with thine anointed.

Şi totuşi, Tu l-ai îndepărtat şi Te-ai mâniat pe unsul Tău;

Like the moon it shall be established forever, a faithful witness in the skies.” Selah

De te mégis elvetetted és megutáltad őt, megharagudtál fölkentedre.

Thou hast made void the covenant of thy servant: thou hast profaned his crown by casting it to the ground.

But now you have cast off and rejected; you are full of wrath against your anointed.

40

Fölbontottad a szolgáddal kötött szövetséget, földre tiportad koronáját.

Felbontottad a te szolgáddal [kötött] szövetséget, földre tiportad az ő koronáját.

Thou hast broken down all his hedges; thou hast brought his strong holds to ruin.

I-ai prăbuşit toate zidurile şi i-ai dărâmat toate cetăţuile.

You have renounced the covenant with your servant; you have defiled his crown in the dust.

41

Lerontottad minden kőfalát, rommá tetted erősségeit.

Lerontottad az ő kőfalait mind; romokká tetted erősségeit.

All that pass by the way spoil him: he is a reproach to his neighbours.

Toţi trecătorii îl jefuiesc şi a ajuns de batjocura vecinilor lui.

You have breached all his walls; you have laid his strongholds in ruins.

Minden arra járó fosztogatja, gyalázattá lett szomszédai előtt.

Thou hast set up the right hand of his adversaries; thou hast made all his enemies to rejoice.

All who pass by plunder him; he has become the scorn of his neighbors.

Fölmagasztaltad szorongatói jobbját, és megvidámítottad minden ellenségét.

Felmagasztaltad az ő szorongatóinak jobbját, és megvidámítottad minden ellenségét.

Thou hast also turned the edge of his sword, and hast not made him to stand in the battle.

ai făcut ca ascuţişul sabiei lui să dea înapoi şi nu l-ai sprijinit în luptă.

You have exalted the right hand of his foes; you have made all his enemies rejoice.

Még fegyvere élét is elvetted, és nem segítetted őt a harcban.

Még fegyverének élét is elvetted, és nem segítetted őt a harczban.

Thou hast made his glory to cease, and cast his throne down to the ground.

Ai pus capăt strălucirii lui şi i-ai trântit la pământ scaunul de domnie;

You have also turned back the edge of his sword, and you have not made him stand in battle.

45

Eltörölted fényességét, és királyi trónját a földre vetetted.

Eltörlötted az ő fényességét, és az ő királyi székét a földre vetetted.

The days of his youth hast thou shortened: thou hast covered him with shame. Selah.

You have made his splendor to cease and cast his throne to the ground.

Megrövidítetted ifjúságának napjait, szégyent borítottál rá. [Szela]

Az ő ifjúságának napjait megrövidítetted, gyalázatot borítottál reá. Szela.

How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire?

Până când, Doamne, Te vei ascunde fără încetare şi-Ţi va arde mânia ca focul?

You have cut short the days of his youth; you have covered him with shame. Selah

Meddig rejtőzöl még, URam, oly soká; miért ég haragod, mint a tűz?

Meddig rejtegeted még magad, oh Uram, szüntelen, [és] ég a te haragod, mint a tűz?

Remember how short my time is: wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?

Adu-Ţi aminte ce scurtă este viaţa mea şi pentru ce nimic ai făcut pe toţi fiii omului.

How long, O LORD? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your wrath burn like fire?

Emlékezzél meg rólam: milyen rövid az élet! Milyen mulandónak teremtettél minden embert!

Emlékezzél meg rólam: mily [rövid] az élet! Mily semmire teremtetted te mind az embernek fiait!

What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave? Selah.

Este vreun om care să poată trăi şi să nu vadă moartea, care să poată să-şi scape sufletul din Locuinţa morţilor? – (Oprire)

Remember how short my time is! For what vanity you have created all the children of man!

Kicsoda az, aki életben maradhat, és nem lát halált; és ki szabadulhat meg a halál kezéből? [Szela]

Kicsoda oly erős, hogy éljen és ne lásson halált [s] megszabadítsa magát a Seolnak kezéből? Szela.

Lord, where are thy former lovingkindnesses, which thou swarest unto David in thy truth?

Unde sunt, Doamne, îndurările Tale dintâi pe care le-ai jurat lui David, în credincioşia Ta?

What man can live and never see death? Who can deliver his soul from the power of Sheol? Selah

Hol van előbbi kegyelmességed, Uram, hűséged, amelyről megesküdtél Dávidnak?

Hol van a te előbbi kegyelmességed, Uram? Megesküdtél Dávidnak a te hűséges voltodra!

Remember, Lord, the reproach of thy servants; how I do bear in my bosom the reproach of all the mighty people;

Adu-Ţi aminte, Doamne, de ocara robilor Tăi, adu-Ţi aminte că port în sân ocara multor popoare;

Lord, where is your steadfast love of old, which by your faithfulness you swore to David?

Emlékezzél meg, Uram, szolgád gyalázatáról: sok nép miatt hordozom azt bensőmben.

Emlékezzél meg Uram a te szolgáidnak gyalázatjokról! hogy sok népnek [gyalázatját] hordozom keblemben,

Wherewith thine enemies have reproached, O LORD; wherewith they have reproached the footsteps of thine anointed.

adu-Ţi aminte de ocările vrăjmaşilor Tăi, Doamne; de ocările lor împotriva paşilor unsului Tău!

Remember, O Lord, how your servants are mocked, and how I bear in my heart the insults of all the many nations,

Mert ellenségeid gyaláztak, URam, fölkented lépéseit gyalázták.

A melyekkel gyaláztak a te ellenségeid Uram, a melyekkel gyalázták a te felkentednek lépéseit.

Blessed be the LORD for evermore. Amen, and Amen.

Binecuvântat să fie Domnul în veci! Amin! Amin!

with which your enemies mock, O LORD, with which they mock the footsteps of your anointed.
