[Dávid zsoltára abból az időből, amikor Júda pusztájában volt.]

Dávid zsoltára, mikor a Júda pusztájában volt.

O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

Dumnezeule, Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu, pe Tine Te caut! Îmi însetează sufletul după Tine, îmi tânjeşte trupul după Tine, într-un pământ sec, uscat şi fără apă.

A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.

Ó, Isten, te vagy az én Istenem! Téged keres, téged szomjaz a lelkem, utánad sóvárog testem, mint a kiszáradt, elepedt föld, amelynek nincs vize,

Isten! én Istenem vagy te, jó reggel kereslek téged; téged szomjúhoz lelkem, téged sóvárog testem a kiaszott, elepedt földön, a melynek nincs vize;

To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

Aşa Te privesc eu în Locaşul cel Sfânt, ca să-Ţi văd puterea şi slava.

O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Hogy láthassalak téged a szent helyen, szemlélvén a te hatalmadat és dicsőségedet.

Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

Fiindcă bunătatea Ta preţuieşte mai mult decât viaţa, de aceea buzele mele cântă laudele Tale.

So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory.

Hiszen kegyelmed jobb az életnél. Ajkam hadd dicsérjen téged!

Hiszen a te kegyelmed jobb az életnél: az én ajakim hadd dicsérjenek téged.

Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

Te voi binecuvânta, dar, toată viaţa mea, şi în Numele Tău îmi voi ridica mâinile.

Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.

Hadd áldjalak ezért életem fogytáig, hadd emeljem föl kezemet a te nevedben!

Áldanálak ezért életem fogytáig; a te nevedben emelném fel kezeimet.

My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

Mi se satură sufletul ca de nişte bucate grase şi miezoase, şi gura mea Te laudă cu strigăte de bucurie pe buze,

So I will bless you as long as I live; in your name I will lift up my hands.

Mintha zsíros falatokkal és kövérséggel telne meg lelkem, amikor víg ajakkal dicsér téged a szám!

Mintha zsírral és kövérséggel telnék meg lelkem, mikor víg ajakkal dicsérhet téged az én szájam!

When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

când mi-aduc aminte de Tine în aşternutul meu şi când mă gândesc la Tine în timpul privegherilor nopţii.

My soul will be satisfied as with fat and rich food, and my mouth will praise you with joyful lips,

Rád gondolok ágyamban, őrváltásról őrváltásra rólad elmélkedem.

Ha reád gondolok ágyamban: őrváltásról őrváltásra rólad elmélkedem;

Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

Căci Tu eşti ajutorul meu, şi sunt plin de veselie la umbra aripilor Tale.

when I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the watches of the night;

Mert te voltál segítségem, és szárnyad árnyékában örvendeztem.

Mert segítségem voltál, és a te szárnyaidnak árnyékában örvendeztem.

My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

Sufletul meu este lipit de Tine; dreapta Ta mă sprijină.

for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.

Ragaszkodik hozzád a lelkem, jobbod megtámogat engem.

Ragaszkodik hozzád az én lelkem; a te jobbod megtámogat engem.

But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

Dar cei ce caută să-mi ia viaţa se vor duce în adâncimile pământului;

My soul clings to you; your right hand upholds me.

Azok pedig, akik halálra keresik lelkemet, a föld mélységeibe jutnak,

Azok pedig, a kik veszedelemre keresik lelkemet, a föld mélységeibe jutnak.

They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

vor fi daţi pradă sabiei, vor fi prada şacalilor.

But those who seek to destroy my life shall go down into the depths of the earth;

kard martalékául esnek, és sakálok eledelévé lesznek.

Szablya martalékaiul esnek el, és a rókáknak lesznek eledelei.

But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

Dar împăratul se va bucura în Dumnezeu; oricine jură pe El se va făli, căci va astupa gura mincinoşilor.

they shall be given over to the power of the sword; they shall be a portion for jackals.

A király pedig örvendezni fog Istenben; dicsérik őt mindazok, akik rá esküsznek, de a hazugok szája be lesz dugva.

[A király pedig örvendezni fog Istenben; dicséri őt mindaz, a ki ő reá esküszik; mert bedugatik a hazugok szája.]
