Az éneklőmesternek; Dávid zsoltára.

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Îmi pusesem nădejdea în Domnul, şi El S-a plecat spre mine, mi-a ascultat strigătele.

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David.

Várva vártam az URat, és ő hozzám hajolt, meghallgatta kiáltásomat.

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

M-a scos din groapa pieirii, din fundul mocirlei; mi-a pus picioarele pe stâncă şi mi-a întărit paşii.

I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry.

Kivont engem a pusztulás gödréből, a sáros fertőből. Sziklára állította lábamat, és megerősítette lépteimet.

És kivont engem a pusztulás gödréből, a sáros fertőből, és sziklára állította fel lábamat, megerősítvén lépteimet.

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Mi-a pus în gură o cântare nouă, o laudă pentru Dumnezeul nostru. Mulţi au văzut lucrul acesta, s-au temut, şi s-au încrezut în Domnul.

He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.

Új éneket adott a számba: Istenünk dicséretét. Sokan látják ezt, félik az URat, és bíznak benne.

És új éneket adott szájamba, a mi Istenünknek dicséretét; sokan látták és megfélemlettek, és bíztak az Úrban.

Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Ferice de omul care îşi pune încrederea în Domnul şi care nu se îndreaptă spre cei trufaşi şi mincinoşi!

He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the LORD.

Boldog ember az, aki az ÚRba veti bizodalmát, és nem fordul a kevélyekhez és a hazugságra vetemedőkhöz!

Boldog ember az, a ki az Úrba vetette bizodalmát, és nem fordul a kevélyekhez és a hazugságra vetemedettekhez!

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

Doamne Dumnezeule, multe sunt minunile şi planurile Tale pentru mine: nimeni nu se poate asemăna cu Tine. Aş vrea să le vestesc şi să le trâmbiţez, dar numărul lor este prea mare, ca să le povestesc.

Blessed is the man who makes the LORD his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie!

Sokat tettél értünk, URam Istenem, csodáiddal és terveiddel. Nincs hozzád hasonló. Hirdetném és elbeszélném, de több az annál, semhogy fölsorolhatnám.

Sokat cselekedtél te, Uram Istenem, a te csodáiddal és terveiddel mi érettünk; semmi sem hasonlítható hozzád; hirdetném és elbeszélném, [de] többek, semhogy elszámlálhatnám.

Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.

Tu nu doreşti nici jertfă, nici dar de mâncare, ci mi-ai străpuns urechile; nu ceri nici ardere de tot, nici jertfă de ispăşire.

You have multiplied, O LORD my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of them, yet they are more than can be told.

Véresáldozatot és ételáldozatot nem kedveltél, de megnyitottad fülemet. Égőáldozatot és bűnért való áldozatot sem kívántál.

Véres áldozatot és ételáldozatot nem kedveltél; füleimet fölnyitottad; égőáldozatot és bűnért való áldozatot sem kívántál.

Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,

Atunci am zis: „Iată-mă că vin! – în sulul cărţii este scris despre mine –

In sacrifice and offering you have not delighted, but you have given me an open ear. Burnt offering and sin offering you have not required.

Akkor azt mondtam: Íme, jövök; a könyvtekercsben írva van felőlem.

Akkor azt mondtam: Ímé jövök; a könyvtekercsben írva van felőlem,

I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.

vreau să fac voia Ta, Dumnezeule!” Şi Legea Ta este în fundul inimii mele.

Then I said, “Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of me:

Akaratod teljesítésében lelem kedvemet, ó, Istenem, törvényed szívem közepén van.

Hogy teljesítsem a te akaratodat; ezt kedvelem, én Istenem, a te törvényed keblem közepette van.

I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

Vestesc îndurarea Ta în adunarea cea mare; iată că nu-mi închid buzele. Tu ştii lucrul acesta, Doamne!

I delight to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart.”

Hirdetem igazságodat a nagy gyülekezetben; íme, nem zárom be ajkamat, te tudod, ó, URam!

Vígan hirdetem az igazságosságot a nagy gyülekezetben; ímé, nem tartom vissza ajkamat, te tudod, óh Uram!

I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

Nu ţin în inima mea îndurarea Ta, ci vestesc adevărul Tău şi mântuirea Ta, şi nu ascund bunătatea şi credincioşia Ta în adunarea cea mare.

I have told the glad news of deliverance in the great congregation; behold, I have not restrained my lips, as you know, O LORD.

Igazságodat nem rejtem el szívem mélyén, hanem elbeszélem hűségedet és szabadításodat. Nem titkolom el kegyelmedet és igazságodat a nagy gyülekezet előtt.

Igazságosságodat nem rejtem el szívemben, elmondom a te hűségedet és segítségedet; nem titkolom el kegyelmedet és igazságodat a nagy gyülekezetben.

Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.

Tu, Doamne, nu-mi vei opri îndurările Tale; ci bunătatea şi credincioşia Ta mă vor păzi întotdeauna.

I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.

Te, URam, ne vond meg tőlem irgalmadat, kegyelmed és igazságod védjen meg szüntelen!

Te, Uram, ne tartsd vissza tőlem irgalmadat; kegyelmed és igazságod mindig megóvnak engem.

For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.

Căci rele fără număr mă împresoară, m-au ajuns pedepsele pentru nelegiuirile mele; şi nu le mai pot suferi vederea. Sunt mai multe decât perii capului meu, şi mi se înmoaie inima.

As for you, O LORD, you will not restrain your mercy from me; your steadfast love and your faithfulness will ever preserve me!

Mert annyi baj vett körül, hogy meg se számolhatom. Utolértek bűneim, a végét nem is látom. Számosabbak hajszálaimnál, és a szívem is elhagyott engem.

Mert bajok vettek engem körül, a melyeknek számuk sincsen; utolértek bűneim, a melyeket végig sem nézhetek; számosabbak a fejem hajszálainál, és a szívem [is] elhagyott engem.

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

Izbăveşte-mă, Doamne! Vino, Doamne, degrabă în ajutorul meu.

For evils have encompassed me beyond number; my iniquities have overtaken me, and I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head; my heart fails me.

Tessék, URam, neked, hogy megments engem! URam, siess segítségemre!

Tessék Uram néked, hogy megments engemet; siess Uram segítségemre!

Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.

Să fie ruşinaţi şi înfruntaţi toţi cei ce vor să-mi ia viaţa! Să dea înapoi şi să roşească de ruşine cei ce-mi doresc pierzarea!

Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me! O LORD, make haste to help me!

Szégyenüljenek meg és piruljanak mindazok, akik életemre törnek, hogy elveszítsék azt. Riadjanak vissza, és érje gyalázat azokat, akik a bajomat kívánják.

Szégyenüljenek meg és piruljanak mind, a kik életemre törnek, hogy elragadják azt; riadjanak vissza, gyalázat érje, a kik bajomat kívánják.

Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.

Să rămână înlemniţi de ruşinea lor cei ce-mi zic: „Ha! Ha!”

Let those be put to shame and disappointed altogether who seek to snatch away my life; let those be turned back and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt!

Pusztuljanak el gyalázatosságuk miatt, akik azt mondják nekem: Hahaha!

Pusztuljanak el az ő gyalázatosságuk miatt, a kik azt mondják nékem: Hehé, hehé!

Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.

Să se bucure şi să se înveselească în Tine toţi cei ce Te caută! Cei ce iubesc mântuirea Ta să zică fără încetare: „Mărit să fie Domnul!”

Let those be appalled because of their shame who say to me, “Aha, Aha!”

Örüljenek és örvendezzenek benned mindazok, akik téged keresnek. Hadd mondhassák mindig, akik vágyódnak szabadításodra: Magasztaltassék föl az ÚR!

Örülnek és örvendeznek majd mindazok, a kik téged keresnek; azt mondják mindenha: Magasztaltassék fel az Úr, a kik szeretik a te szabadításodat.

But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

Eu sunt sărac şi lipsit, dar Domnul Se gândeşte la mine. Tu eşti ajutorul şi izbăvitorul meu: nu zăbovi, Dumnezeule!

But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the LORD!”

Noha szegény és nyomorult vagyok, az én Uram gondoskodik rólam. Te vagy segítségem, szabadítóm; ó, Istenem, ne késsél!

[Rólam is, noha én szegény és nyomorult vagyok, az én Uram visel gondot. Te vagy segítségem, szabadítóm, oh Istenem, ne késsél!]
