O rugăciune a lui David.

[Dávid imádsága.] Hallgasd meg, URam, az igazságot, vedd észre kiáltásomat! Figyelj imádságomra, amely nem csalárd ajakról ered.

Dávid imádsága. Hallgasd meg, Uram, az igazságot, vedd észre könyörgésemet, figyelmezzél imádságomra, mely nem jő csalárd ajakról.

Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goeth not out of feigned lips.

Doamne, ascultă-mi pricina nevinovată, ia aminte la strigătele mele, pleacă urechea la rugăciunea mea, făcută cu buze neprefăcute!

Tőled jöjjön ítéletem, szemed tekintsen az igazságra.

A te orczádtól jőjjön ki ítéletem, a te szemeid hadd lássanak igazat.

Let my sentence come forth from thy presence; let thine eyes behold the things that are equal.

Să se arate dreptatea mea înaintea Ta, şi să privească ochii Tăi neprihănirea mea!

Hear a just cause, O LORD; attend to my cry! Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit!

Megvizsgáltad a szívemet, meglátogattál éjjel. Ha próbára teszel, nem találsz bennem semmi rosszat; elhatároztam, hogy nem vétkezem a számmal.

Megpróbáltad az én szívemet, meglátogattál éjjel; próbáltál engem, nem találtál semmi [rosszat; ha tán] gondoltam [is], nem jött ki a számon.

Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.

Dacă îmi vei încerca inima, dacă o vei cerceta noaptea, dacă mă vei încerca, nu vei găsi nimic: căci ce-mi iese din gură, aceea şi gândesc.

From your presence let my vindication come! Let your eyes behold the right!

Bármit tettek is az emberek, én ajkad igéjére figyelve őrizkedtem az erőszakosok ösvényeitől.

Az emberek cselekedeteinél a te ajkad igéjével vigyáztam az erőszakosnak ösvényeire.

Concerning the works of men, by the word of thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Cât priveşte legăturile cu oamenii, eu, după cuvântul buzelor Tale, mă feresc de calea celor asupritori;

You have tried my heart, you have visited me by night, you have tested me, and you will find nothing; I have purposed that my mouth will not transgress.

Lépéseim a te ösvényeidhez igazodtak, nem ingadozott a lábam.

Ragaszkodtak lépteim a te ösvényeidhez, nem ingadoztak lábaim.

Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

paşii mei stau neclintiţi pe cărările Tale şi nu mi se clatină picioarele.

With regard to the works of man, by the word of your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.

Hívtalak, mert te felelhetsz nekem, Istenem! Fordítsd felém füledet, hallgasd meg beszédemet!

Hívtalak én, mert te felelhetsz nékem, Istenem! Hajtsd hozzám füledet, hallgasd meg az én beszédemet.

I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.

Strig către Tine, căci m-asculţi, Dumnezeule! Pleacă-Ţi urechea spre mine, ascultă cuvântul meu!

My steps have held fast to your paths; my feet have not slipped.

Mutasd meg csodálatosan kegyelmedet, te, aki jobboddal megszabadítod támadóiktól a benned bízókat!

Mutasd meg csudálatosan a te kegyelmedet, a ki megszabadítod jobboddal a te benned bízókat a támadóktól.

Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

Arată-Ţi bunătatea Ta cea minunată, Tu, care scapi pe cei ce caută adăpost şi-i izbăveşti de potrivnicii lor prin dreapta Ta!

I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.

Őrizz, mint a szemed fényét, szárnyad árnyékába rejts el engem

Tarts meg engemet, mint szemed fényét; szárnyaid árnyékába rejts el engemet.

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

Păzeşte-mă ca lumina ochiului, ocroteşte-mă la umbra aripilor Tale

Wondrously show your steadfast love, O Savior of those who seek refuge from their adversaries at your right hand.

a gonoszok elől, akik el akarnak pusztítani; halálos ellenségeim elől, akik körülvesznek engem.

From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

de cei răi, care mă prigonesc, de vrăjmaşii mei de moarte, care mă împresoară.

Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings,

Megkövéredett szívüket bezárták, szájuk kevélyen szól.

Megkövéredett szívöket elzárták, szájokkal kevélyen szólanak.

They are inclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.

Ei îşi închid inima, au cuvinte semeţe în gură.

from the wicked who do me violence, my deadly enemies who surround me.

Körülvettek most, bármerre lépünk; szemüket ránk szegezik, hogy földre terítsenek.

They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

Se ţin de paşii mei, mă înconjoară chiar, mă pândesc, ca să mă trântească la pământ.

They close their hearts to pity; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.

Olyanok, mint az oroszlán, amely zsákmányra vágyik, vagy mint az oroszlánkölyök a rejtekhelyén.

Hasonlók az oroszlánhoz, a mely zsákmányra szomjaz, és a rejtekhelyen ülő oroszlánkölyökhöz.

Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

Parcă ar fi un leu lacom după pradă, un pui de leu care stă la pândă în culcuşul lui.

They have now surrounded our steps; they set their eyes to cast us to the ground.

Kelj fel, ó, URam! Szállj szembe vele, és terítsd le, fegyvereddel mentsd meg életemet a gonosztól!

Kelj fel, oh Uram! Szállj vele szembe, terítsd le őt, szabadítsd meg lelkemet a gonosztól fegyvereddel;

Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

Scoală-Te, Doamne, ieşi înaintea vrăjmaşului, doboară-l! Izbăveşte-mă de cel rău cu sabia Ta!

He is like a lion eager to tear, as a young lion lurking in ambush.

Szabadíts meg kezeddel, ó, URam, az emberektől, a világ embereitől, akiknek osztályrészük ez életben van! Megtöltötted hasukat javaiddal, bővelkednek fiakkal, ami pedig megmarad utánuk, azt gyermekeikre hagyják!

Az emberektől, oh Uram, kezeddel, a világ embereitől! Az ő osztályrészük az életben van; megtöltötted hasukat javaiddal, bővölködnek fiakkal, a miök pedig marad, gyermekeikre hagyják.

From men which are thy hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly thou fillest with thy hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.

Scapă-mă de oameni, cu mâna Ta, Doamne, de oamenii lumii acesteia, care îşi au partea lor în viaţa aceasta şi cărora le umpli pântecele cu bunătăţile Tale. Copiii lor sunt sătui, şi prisosul lor îl lasă pruncilor lor.

Arise, O LORD! Confront him, subdue him! Deliver my soul from the wicked by your sword,

Én pedig meglátom arcodat igazságban, arcod látása megelégít, amikor fölébredek.

Én igazságban nézem a te orczádat, megelégszem a te ábrázatoddal, midőn felserkenek.

As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Dar eu, în nevinovăţia mea, voi vedea faţa Ta: cum mă voi trezi, mă voi sătura de chipul Tău.

from men by your hand, O LORD, from men of the world whose portion is in this life. You fill their womb with treasure; they are satisfied with children, and they leave their abundance to their infants.
