Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.

Te lăudăm, Dumnezeule, Te lăudăm; noi, care chemăm Numele Tău, vestim minunile Tale!

Magasztalunk téged, Istenünk, magasztalunk, mert közel van neved, ezt hirdetik csodatetteid.

Tisztelünk téged, oh Isten, tisztelünk; neved közel van, hirdetik csodatetteid.

When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.

„Atunci când va veni vremea hotărâtă”, zice Domnul, „voi judeca fără părtinire.

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds.

Ha kijelölöm az idejét, én méltányosan ítélek.

Ha megszabom a határidőt, én méltányosan ítélek.

The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.

Poate să se cutremure pământul cu locuitorii lui: căci Eu îi întăresc stâlpii.” (Oprire)

“At the set time that I appoint I will judge with equity.

Ha meginog a föld minden lakójával együtt, én erősítem meg oszlopait. [Szela]

A föld és annak minden lakosa elcsügged; én erősítem meg annak oszlopait. Szela.

I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

Eu zic celor ce se fălesc: „Nu vă făliţi!”, şi celor răi: „Nu ridicaţi capul sus!”

When the earth totters, and all its inhabitants, it is I who keep steady its pillars. Selah

A kérkedőknek azt mondom: „Ne kérkedjetek!”, a gonoszoknak pedig, hogy „Ne emeljetek szarvat!”.

A kérkedőknek azt mondom: Ne kérkedjetek; és a gonoszoknak: Ne emeljetek szarvat!

Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Nu vă ridicaţi capul aşa de sus, nu vorbiţi cu atâta trufie!

I say to the boastful, ‘Do not boast,’ and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horn;

Ne emeljétek magasra szarvatokat, ne szóljatok megkeményedett nyakkal.

Ne emeljétek magasra szarvatokat, ne szóljatok megkeményedett nyakkal;

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.

Căci nici de la Răsărit, nici de la Apus, nici din pustiu nu vine înălţarea.

do not lift up your horn on high, or speak with haughty neck.’”

Mert nem keletről, nem nyugatról és nem is a puszta felől támad a fölmagasztalás,

Mert nem napkelettől, sem napnyugattól, s nem is a puszta felől [támad] a felmagasztalás;

But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.

Ci Dumnezeu este Cel ce judecă: El coboară pe unul, şi înalţă pe altul.

For not from the east or from the west and not from the wilderness comes lifting up,

hanem Isten a bíró, aki az egyiket megalázza, a másikat fölmagasztalja.

Hanem Isten a biró, a ki egyet megaláz, mást felmagasztal!

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

În mâna Domnului este un potir, în care fierbe un vin plin de amestecătură. Când îl varsă, toţi cei răi de pe pământ sug, îl sorb şi-l beau până în fund!

but it is God who executes judgment, putting down one and lifting up another.

Mert pohár van az ÚR kezében, tele pezsgő, kevert borral. Ha tölt belőle, ki kell inni, még a seprőjét is ki kell hörpintenie a föld minden gonosztevőjének.

Mert pohár van az Úr kezében, bortól pezseg, nedvvel tele; ha tölt belőle, még seprejét is iszsza és szopja a föld minden gonosztevője.

But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.

Eu însă voi vesti pururi aceste lucruri; voi cânta laude în cinstea Dumnezeului lui Iacov.

For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup with foaming wine, well mixed, and he pours out from it, and all the wicked of the earth shall drain it down to the dregs.

Én pedig hirdetem ezt mindörökké, és dicséretet énekelek Jákób Istenének.

Én pedig hirdetem [ezt] mindörökké, és éneket mondok a Jákób Istenének.

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

Şi voi doborî toate puterile celor răi: puterile celui neprihănit însă se vor înălţa.

But I will declare it forever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
