Către mai marele cântăreţilor. Un psalm al lui David, robul Domnului. El a spus Domnului cuvintele cântării acesteia când l-a scăpat Domnul din mâna tuturor vrăjmaşilor săi şi din mâna lui Saul. El a zis:

[A karmesternek: Dávidé, az ÚR szolgájáé, aki azon a napon mondta el az ÚRnak ennek az éneknek a szavait, amelyen az ÚR megszabadította minden ellensége és Saul kezéből.]

Az éneklőmesternek, az Úr szolgájától, Dávidtól, a ki az Úrhoz ez ének szavait azon a napon mondotta, a melyen az Úr megszabadította őt minden ellenségének kezéből, és a Saul kezéből.

I will love thee, O LORD, my strength.

„Te iubesc din inimă, Doamne, tăria mea!

To the choirmaster. A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who addressed the words of this song to the LORD on the day when the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. He said:

[Ezt mondta:] Szeretlek URam, én erősségem!

És monda: Szeretlek Uram, én erősségem!

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Doamne, Tu eşti stânca mea, cetăţuia mea, izbăvitorul meu! Dumnezeule, Tu eşti stânca mea în care mă ascund, scutul meu, tăria care mă scapă şi întăritura mea!

I love you, O LORD, my strength.

Az ÚR az én kősziklám, váram és szabadítóm, az én Istenem, kősziklám, őbenne bízom; az én pajzsom, üdvösségem szarva, menedékem.

Az Úr az én kősziklám, váram és szabadítóm; az én Istenem, az én kősziklám, ő benne bízom: az én paizsom, idvességem szarva, menedékem.

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Eu strig: „Lăudat să fie Domnul!”, şi sunt izbăvit de vrăjmaşii mei.

The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.

I call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.

the cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.

Szükségemben az URat hívtam, és Istenemhez kiáltottam. Meghallotta hangomat templomából, és kiáltásom fülébe jutott.

Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.

Atunci s-a zguduit pământul şi s-a cutremurat, temeliile munţilor s-au mişcat şi s-au clătinat, pentru că El Se mâniase.

In my distress I called upon the LORD; to my God I cried for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.

There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

Then the earth reeled and rocked; the foundations also of the mountains trembled and quaked, because he was angry.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire from his mouth; glowing coals flamed forth from him.

He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.

He rode on a cherub and flew; he came swiftly on the wings of the wind.

At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him, thick clouds dark with water.

The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.

Domnul a tunat în ceruri, Cel Preaînalt a făcut să-I răsune glasul cu grindină şi cărbuni de foc.

Out of the brightness before him hailstones and coals of fire broke through his clouds.

Dörgött az ÚR az egekben, zengett a Magasságos; jégeső hullt és izzó parázs.

És dörgött az Úr a mennyekben, és a Magasságos zengett; és jégeső [hullt] és eleven szén.

Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and discomfited them.

A aruncat săgeţi şi a risipit pe vrăjmaşii mei, a înmulţit loviturile trăsnetului şi i-a pus pe fugă.

The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice, hailstones and coals of fire.

Kilőtte nyilait, és szétszórta őket, villámokat röpített mindenfelé.

És kibocsátá nyilait és elszéleszté azokat, villámokat szórt és megháborította azokat.

Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils.

Atunci s-a văzut albia apelor şi s-au descoperit temeliile lumii, la mustrarea Ta, Doamne, la vuietul suflării nărilor Tale.

And he sent out his arrows and scattered them; he flashed forth lightnings and routed them.

Előtűnt a vizek medre, és megmutatkoztak a világ alapjai a te feddésedtől, URam, orrod leheletének szelétől.

És meglátszottak a vizek medrei s megmutatkoztak a világ fundamentomai; a te feddésedtől, Uram, a te orrod leheletének fuvásától.

He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.

El Şi-a întins mâna de sus, m-a apucat, m-a scos din apele cele mari;

Then the channels of the sea were seen, and the foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.

Lenyúlt a magasból, és fölvett engem, kihúzott a nagy vizekből.

He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.

He sent from on high, he took me; he drew me out of many waters.

Megszabadított erős ellenségemtől, gyűlölőimtől, akik hatalmasabbak voltak nálam.

Megszabadított engem az én erős ellenségemtől, s az én gyűlölőimtől, a kik hatalmasabbak voltak nálamnál.

They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.

Ei năvăliseră deodată peste mine în ziua strâmtorării mele; dar Domnul a fost sprijinul meu.

He rescued me from my strong enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.

Rám törtek a veszedelmem napján, de az ÚR volt a támaszom.

Rám jöttek veszedelmem napján; de az Úr volt az én támaszom.

He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

El m-a scos la loc larg şi m-a scăpat, pentru că mă iubeşte.

They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the LORD was my support.

Tágas helyre vitt ki engem, kiragadott engem, mert kedvét leli bennem.

És kivitt engem tágas helyre; kiragadt engem, mert kedvét leli bennem.

The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

Domnul mi-a făcut după neprihănirea mea, mi-a răsplătit după curăţia mâinilor mele:

He brought me out into a broad place; he rescued me, because he delighted in me.

Az ÚR megfizetett nekem igazságom szerint, kezem tisztasága szerint fizetett meg nekem.

Az Úr megfizetett nékem igazságom szerint, kezeimnek tisztasága szerint fizetett meg nékem;

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

căci am păzit căile Domnului şi n-am păcătuit împotriva Dumnezeului meu.

The LORD dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he rewarded me.

Mert megőriztem az ÚR útjait, és nem hagytam el gonoszul Istenemet.

Mert megőriztem az Úrnak útait, és gonoszul nem távoztam el az én Istenemtől.

For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.

Toate poruncile Lui au fost înaintea mea şi nu m-am depărtat de la legile Lui.

For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

Minden ítélete előttem van, és rendeléseit nem vetettem el magamtól.

I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.

Am fost fără vină faţă de El şi m-am păzit de fărădelegea mea.

For all his rules were before me, and his statutes I did not put away from me.

Feddhetetlen voltam előtte, őrizkedtem a vétektől.

És tökéletes voltam előtte, őrizkedtem az én vétkemtől.

Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.

De aceea, Domnul mi-a răsplătit după neprihănirea mea, după curăţia mâinilor mele înaintea ochilor Lui.

I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my guilt.

Ezért megfizetett nekem az ÚR igazságom szerint, kezem tisztasága szerint, amely szeme előtt van.

És megfizetett nékem az Úr az én igazságom szerint; kezeim tisztasága szerint, a mi szemei előtt van.

With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful; with an upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright;

Cu cel bun Tu Te arăţi bun, cu omul neprihănit Te arăţi neprihănit;

So the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.

Az irgalmashoz irgalmas vagy, a feddhetetlenhez feddhetetlen vagy.

With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself froward.

With the merciful you show yourself merciful; with the blameless man you show yourself blameless;

For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.

with the purified you show yourself pure; and with the crooked you make yourself seem tortuous.

Mert te megtartod a nyomorult népet, és megalázod a kevély szemeket.

For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

Da, Tu îmi aprinzi lumina mea. Domnul Dumnezeul meu îmi luminează întunericul meu.

For you save a humble people, but the haughty eyes you bring down.

Mert te gyújtod meg a mécsesemet. Az ÚR, az én Istenem megvilágosítja sötétségemet.

Mert te gyujtod meg az én szövétnekemet; az Úr az én Istenem megvilágosítja az én sötétségemet.

For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.

Cu Tine mă năpustesc asupra unei oşti înarmate, cu Dumnezeul meu sar peste un zid întărit.

For it is you who light my lamp; the LORD my God lightens my darkness.

Mert általad a táboron is átfutok, Istenemmel a kőfalon is átugrom.

As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Căile lui Dumnezeu sunt desăvârşite, cuvântul Domnului este încercat: El este un scut pentru toţi cei ce aleargă la El.

For by you I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall.

Isten útja tökéletes, az ÚR beszéde színtiszta. Pajzsa ő mindazoknak, akik bíznak benne.

Az Istennek útja tökéletes; az Úrnak beszéde tiszta; paizsuk ő mindazoknak, a kik bíznak benne.

For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?

Căci cine este Dumnezeu, afară de Domnul, şi cine este o stâncă, afară de Dumnezeul nostru?

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

Mert kicsoda Isten az ÚRon kívül? És kicsoda kőszikla a mi Istenünkön kívül?

It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

Dumnezeu mă încinge cu putere şi mă povăţuieşte pe calea cea dreaptă.

For who is God, but the LORD? And who is a rock, except our God?—

Isten az, aki erővel övez föl engem, és tökéletessé teszi utamat.

Az Isten, a ki felövez engem erővel, és tökéletessé teszi útamat:

He maketh my feet like hinds' feet, and setteth me upon my high places.

El îmi face picioarele ca ale cerboaicelor şi mă aşază pe înălţimile mele.

the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless.

Olyanná teszi lábamat, mint a szarvasé, és magaslatokra állít engem.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.

He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights.

Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right hand hath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.

He trains my hands for war, so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.

Üdvösséged pajzsát adtad nekem, jobbod támogat, és jóvoltod fölmagasztalt engem.

És adtad nékem a te idvességednek paizsát, és a te jobbod megszilárdított engem, és a te jóvoltod felmagasztalt engem.

Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.

Tu lărgeşti drumul sub paşii mei, şi nu-mi alunecă gleznele.

You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand supported me, and your gentleness made me great.

Teret adtál lépteimnek, és nem tántorog a lábam.

Kiszélesítetted lépésemet alattam, és nem tántorogtak lábaim.

I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed.

Urmăresc pe vrăjmaşii mei, îi ajung şi nu mă întorc până nu-i nimicesc.

You gave a wide place for my steps under me, and my feet did not slip.

Üldözöm ellenségeimet, és elérem őket, nem térek vissza, míg meg nem semmisülnek.

I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

Îi zdrobesc, de nu pot să se mai ridice: ei cad sub picioarele mele.

I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and did not turn back till they were consumed.

Összetöröm őket, hogy föl sem kelhetnek, lábam elé hullanak.

For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me.

I thrust them through, so that they were not able to rise; they fell under my feet.

Mert te öveztél föl engem erővel a harcra, és elém vetetted azokat, akik felkeltek ellenem.

Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.

Tu faci pe vrăjmaşii mei să dea dosul înaintea mea, şi eu nimicesc pe cei ce mă urăsc.

For you equipped me with strength for the battle; you made those who rise against me sink under me.

Megadtad, hogy ellenségeim meghátráljanak, és elpusztíthattam gyűlölőimet.

És megadtad, hogy ellenségeim meghátráltak, és az én gyűlölőimet elpusztíthattam.

They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Ei strigă, dar n-are cine să-i scape! Strigă către Domnul, dar nu le răspunde!

You made my enemies turn their backs to me, and those who hated me I destroyed.

42

Kiáltoznak, de nincs szabadító, az ÚRhoz kiáltanak, de nem felel nekik.

Kiáltottak, de nem volt szabadító, az Úrhoz és nem felelt nékik.

Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

Îi pisez ca praful pe care-l ia vântul, îi calc în picioare ca noroiul de pe uliţe.

They cried for help, but there was none to save; they cried to the LORD, but he did not answer them.

43

Apróra töröm őket, mint a szélhordta por, és megtaposom őket, mint az utca sarát.

És apróra törtem őket, a milyen a szél elé való por, és megtapodtam őket mint utcza sarát.

Thou hast delivered me from the strivings of the people; and thou hast made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

Tu mă scapi din neînţelegerile poporului; mă pui în fruntea neamurilor; un popor pe care nu-l cunoşteam îmi este supus.

I beat them fine as dust before the wind; I cast them out like the mire of the streets.

44

Megmentettél engem a nép pártoskodásaitól, nemzetek fejévé tettél engem. Olyan nép szolgál nekem, amelyet nem ismertem.

As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

El ascultă de mine la cea dintâi poruncă, fiii străinului mă linguşesc.

You delivered me from strife with the people; you made me the head of the nations; people whom I had not known served me.

Amint meghallja fülük szavamat, engedelmeskednek, és az idegenek is hízelegnek nekem.

A mint hall a fülök, engedelmeskednek, és idegenek is hizelegnek nékem.

The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

Fiilor străinului li se înmoaie inima de mine şi ies tremurând din cetăţuile lor.

As soon as they heard of me they obeyed me; foreigners came cringing to me.

Mert eltikkadtak az idegenek, és reszketve jönnek elő erődeikből.

Az idegenek elepedtek, és reszketve jőnek elő zárt helyeikből.

The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Trăiască Domnul şi binecuvântată să fie Stânca mea! Mărit să fie Dumnezeul mântuirii mele,

Foreigners lost heart and came trembling out of their fortresses.

47

Él az ÚR, és áldott az én kősziklám; magasztaltassék hát üdvösségem Istene.

Él az Úr és áldott az én kősziklám, magasztaltassék hát az én idvességemnek Istene!

It is God that avengeth me, and subdueth the people under me.

Dumnezeu, Răzbunătorul meu, care îmi supune popoarele

The LORD lives, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation—

Isten az, aki bosszút áll értem, népeket vet alám,

Az Isten, a ki bosszút áll értem, és népeket hajlít alám;

He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

şi mă izbăveşte de vrăjmaşii mei! Tu mă înalţi mai presus de potrivnicii mei, mă scapi de omul asupritor.

the God who gave me vengeance and subdued peoples under me,

és megment ellenségeimtől. Az ellenem felkelőkkel szemben fölmagasztal, és megszabadít az erőszakos emberektől.

A ki megment engem ellenségeimtől. Még az ellenem felkelők fölött is felmagasztalsz engem, az erőszakos embertől megszabadítasz engem.

Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.

De aceea, Doamne, Te voi lăuda printre neamuri, voi cânta spre slava Numelui Tău.

who rescued me from my enemies; yes, you exalted me above those who rose against me; you delivered me from the man of violence.

Ezért dicsérlek téged, URam, a nemzetek között, és éneket zengek nevednek.

Azért dicsérlek téged, Uram, a nemzetek között, és éneket zengek a te nevednek.

Great deliverance giveth he to his king; and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

El dă mari izbăviri împăratului Său şi dă îndurare unsului Său: lui David şi seminţei lui pe vecie.

For this I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations, and sing to your name.

Nagy segítséget ad királyának, és irgalmasságot cselekszik fölkentjével, Dáviddal és utódaival mindörökké.

[Nagy segítséget ád az ő királyának és irgalmasságot cselekszik az ő felkentjével, Dáviddal és az ő magvával mindörökké.]
