[A karmesternek: Az ÚR szolgájáé, Dávidé.]

Az éneklőmesternek; az Úr szolgájáé, Dávidé.

The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Nelegiuirea celui rău zice inimii mele: „Nu este frică de Dumnezeu înaintea ochilor lui.”

To the choirmaster. Of David, the servant of the LORD.

A gonosz hamissága felől így gondolkozom szívemben: nincs őelőtte istenfélelem;

A gonosznak hamissága felől így gondolkozom szívemben: nincs ő előtte isten-félelem;

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

Căci se măguleşte singur în ochii lui, ca să-şi desăvârşească fărădelegea, ca să-şi potolească ura.

Transgression speaks to the wicked deep in his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.

Mert azzal hízeleg önmagának, hogy bűnözhet és gyűlölködhet.

Mert hízeleg néki önmagának, ha bűnét elkövetheti, ha gyűlölködhetik.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.

Cuvintele gurii lui sunt mincinoase şi înşelătoare; nu mai vrea să lucreze cu înţelepciune şi să facă binele.

For he flatters himself in his own eyes that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.

Szájának beszéde gonoszság és hamisság; nem tud bölcs lenni és jót cselekedni.

Szájának beszéde hiábavalóság és hamisság; megszünt bölcs lenni [és] jót cselekedni.

He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

În aşternutul lui se gândeşte la răutate, stă pe o cale care nu este bună, şi nu urăşte răul.

The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit; he has ceased to act wisely and do good.

Hiábavalóságot gondol ki ágyában, nem a jó útra áll, és nem veti meg a rosszat.

Hiábavalóságot gondol ágyában; nem a jó útra áll, [és] nem veti meg a rosszat.

Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Bunătatea Ta, Doamne, ajunge până la ceruri, şi credincioşia Ta, până la nori.

He plots trouble while on his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he does not reject evil.

URam, kegyelmed az égig ér, hűséged a felhőkig!

Uram, az égig [ér] a te kegyelmességed; a te hűséged a felhőkig!

Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Dreptatea Ta este ca munţii lui Dumnezeu, şi judecăţile Tale sunt ca Adâncul cel mare. Doamne, Tu sprijini pe oameni şi pe dobitoace!

Your steadfast love, O LORD, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.

Igazságod olyan, mint Isten hegyei; ítéleteid, mint a nagy mélységek; embert és állatot te tartasz meg, URam!

Igazságod, mint Isten hegyei; ítéleteid, [mint] a nagy mélységek; az embert és barmot te tartod meg, Uram!

How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Cât de scumpă este bunătatea Ta, Dumnezeule! La umbra aripilor Tale găsesc fiii oamenilor adăpost.

Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judgments are like the great deep; man and beast you save, O LORD.

Ó, Istenem, milyen drága a te kegyelmed! Szárnyad árnyékába menekülnek az ember fiai.

Oh Isten, milyen drága a te kegyelmességed; az embernek fiai a te szárnyaidnak árnyékába menekülnek.

They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.

Se satură de belşugul Casei Tale, şi-i adăpi din şuvoiul desfătărilor Tale.

How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.

Dúslakodnak házad bőséges javaiban, gyönyörűséged folyóvizéből itatod meg őket.

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

Căci la Tine este izvorul vieţii; prin lumina Ta vedem lumina.

They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.

Mert nálad van az élet forrása, a te világosságod által látunk világosságot.

O continue thy lovingkindness unto them that know thee; and thy righteousness to the upright in heart.

Întinde-Ţi şi mai departe bunătatea peste cei ce Te cunosc, şi dreptatea peste cei cu inima neprihănită!

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.

Terjeszd ki kegyelmedet a téged ismerőkre és igazságodat az igaz szívűekre!

Terjeszd ki kegyelmességedet a te ismerőidre, és igazságodat az igaz szívűekre.

Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.

Să nu m-ajungă piciorul celui mândru şi să nu mă pună pe fugă mâna celor răi.

Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

Ne jöjjön ellenem a kevélyek lába, és ne üldözzön engem a gonoszok keze!

Ne támadjon engem a kevélynek lába, és ne üldözzön engem a gonosznak keze.

There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

Cei ce fac fărădelegea au şi început să cadă; sunt răsturnaţi, şi nu pot să se mai scoale.

Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me, nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

Hullanak már a gonosztevők; elveted őket, és nem tudnak fölállni.
