Fölkerekednek a föld királyai, és a fejedelmek együtt tanácskoznak az ÚR ellen és fölkentje ellen:

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

Az egekben lakozó kineveti, az ÚR megcsúfolja őket.

He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.

Cel ce şade în ceruri râde, Domnul Îşi bate joc de ei.

He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.

Majd így szól haragjában, és megrettenti őket fölindulásában:

Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

“As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”

Törvényként hirdetem, az ÚR mondta nekem: Az én fiam vagy te, ma adtam neked életet.

Törvényül hirdetem: Az Úr mondá nékem: Én fiam vagy te; én ma nemzettelek téged.

I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.

„Eu voi vesti hotărârea Lui” – zice Unsul – „Domnul Mi-a zis: „Tu eşti Fiul Meu! Astăzi Te-am născut.

I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.

Kérd tőlem, és odaadom neked örökségül a népeket és birtokodul a föld határait.

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

Cere-Mi, şi-Ţi voi da neamurile de moştenire, şi marginile pământului în stăpânire!

Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.

Azért, ti királyok, legyetek észnél, és okuljatok, ti földnek bírái!

Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.

Acum, dar, împăraţi, purtaţi-vă cu înţelepciune! Luaţi învăţătură, judecătorii pământului!

Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Daţi cinste Fiului, ca să nu Se mânie, şi să nu pieriţi pe calea voastră, căci mânia Lui este gata să se aprindă! Ferice de toţi câţi se încred în El!

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
