At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both rider and horse lay stunned.

But you, you are to be feared! Who can stand before you when once your anger is roused?

From the heavens you uttered judgment; the earth feared and was still,

Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

Az emberek iránti harag is dicsőít téged, még ha csak a harag maradékával is övezed fel magad.

Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

Faceţi juruinţe Domnului Dumnezeului vostru şi împliniţi-le! Toţi cei ce-L înconjoară să aducă daruri Dumnezeului celui înfricoşat.

Surely the wrath of man shall praise you; the remnant of wrath you will put on like a belt.

Tegyetek fogadalmat, és adjátok meg azt Isteneteknek, az ÚRnak! Mindnyájan, akik körülötte lakoztok, hozzatok ajándékot a Rettenetesnek!

Tegyetek fogadást és adjátok meg azokat az Úrnak, a ti Isteneteknek; mindnyájan, a kik ő körülte laknak, hozzanak ajándékot a Rettenetesnek.

He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

El frânge mândria domnitorilor, El este înfricoşat pentru împăraţii pământului.

Make your vows to the LORD your God and perform them; let all around him bring gifts to him who is to be feared,
