Jób ekkor így felelt az ÚRnak:

Jób pedig felele az Úrnak, és monda:

Tudom, hogy te mindent megtehetsz, és senki sem téríthet el attól, amit elgondoltál.

Tudom, hogy te mindent megtehetsz, és senki téged el nem fordíthat attól, a mit elgondoltál.

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.

„Ştiu că Tu poţi totul şi că nimic nu poate sta împotriva gândurilor Tale.” –

“I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.

Ki az, aki tudatlanságból elhomályosítja az örök rendet? Megvallom hát, hogy nem értettem; csodás dolgok ezek nekem, nem tudom fölfogni.

Ki az - mondod - a ki gáncsolja az örök rendet tudatlanul? Megvallom azért, hogy nem értettem; csodadolgok ezek nékem, és fel nem foghatom.

Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

„Cine este acela care are nebunia să-Mi întunece planurile?” – „Da, am vorbit, fără să le înţeleg, de minuni, care sunt mai presus de mine şi pe care nu le pricep.” –

‘Who is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’ Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

Hallgass hát, kérlek, hadd beszéljek. Én kérdezlek, te pedig taníts engem!

Hallgass hát, kérlek, én hadd beszéljek; én kérdezlek, te pedig taníts meg engem!

Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

„Ascultă-Mă şi voi vorbi; te voi întreba, şi Mă vei învăţa.” –

‘Hear, and I will speak; I will question you, and you make it known to me.’

Eddig csak hallomásból tudtam felőled, de most saját szememmel látlak téged.

Az én fülemnek hallásával hallottam felőled, most pedig szemeimmel látlak téged.

I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.

„Urechea mea auzise vorbindu-se de Tine; dar acum ochiul meu Te-a văzut.

I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you;

Ezért hibáztatom magam, és megbánom bűneimet porban és hamuban!

Ezért hibáztatom [magam] és bánkódom a porban és hamuban!

Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

De aceea mi-e scârbă de mine şi mă pocăiesc în ţărână şi cenuşă.”

therefore I despise myself, and repent in dust and ashes.”

Miután az ÚR mindezt elmondta Jóbnak, így szólt a témáni Elifázhoz: Haragom fölgerjedt ellened és két barátod ellen, mert nem szóltatok rólam olyan igaz módon, mint Jób, az én szolgám.

Miután pedig e szavakat mondotta vala az Úr Jóbnak, szóla a Témánból való Elifáznak: Haragom felgerjedt ellened és két barátod ellen, mert nem szóltatok felőlem igazán, mint az én szolgám, Jób.

And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

După ce a vorbit Domnul aceste cuvinte lui Iov, a zis lui Elifaz din Teman: „Mânia Mea s-a aprins împotriva ta şi împotriva celor doi prieteni ai tăi, pentru că n-aţi vorbit aşa de drept de Mine, cum a vorbit robul Meu Iov.

After the LORD had spoken these words to Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “My anger burns against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.

Most tehát vegyetek hét bikát és hét kost, menjetek el szolgámhoz, Jóbhoz, és mutassatok be magatokért égőáldozatot. Jób pedig, az én szolgám, imádkozzék értetek. Mert csak rá való tekintettel nem büntetlek meg benneteket, amiért nem szóltatok felőlem olyan igaz módon, mint Jób, az én szolgám.

Most azért vegyetek magatokhoz hét tulkot és hét kost, és menjetek el az én szolgámhoz Jóbhoz, és áldozzatok magatokért égőáldozatot; Jób pedig, az én szolgám, imádkozzék ti érettetek; mert csak az ő személyére tekintek, hogy retteneteset ne cselekedjem veletek, mivelhogy nem szóltatok felőlem igazán, mint az én szolgám Jób.

Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

Luaţi acum şapte viţei şi şapte berbeci, duceţi-vă la robul Meu Iov şi aduceţi o ardere de tot pentru voi. Robul Meu Iov să se roage pentru voi, şi numai în vederea lui nu vă voi face după nebunia voastră; căci n-aţi vorbit aşa de drept despre Mine, cum a vorbit robul Meu Iov.”

Now therefore take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves. And my servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept his prayer not to deal with you according to your folly. For you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.”

Akkor elment a Témánból való Elifáz, a súahi Bildád és a naamái Cófár, és úgy cselekedtek, ahogy az ÚR mondta nekik; és az ÚR kegyelmesen tekintett Jóbra.

Elmenének azért a Témánból való Elifáz, a Sukhból való Bildád és a Naamából való Czófár, és úgy cselekedének, a miképen mondotta vala nékik az Úr, és az Úr tekinte Jóbnak személyére.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

Elifaz din Teman, Bildad din Şuah, şi Ţofar din Naama s-au dus şi au făcut cum le spusese Domnul. Şi Domnul a ascultat rugăciunea lui Iov.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did what the LORD had told them, and the LORD accepted Job’s prayer.

Azután Isten eltávolította Jóbról a csapást, miután imádkozott a barátaiért, és kétszeresen visszaadta az ÚR Jóbnak mindazt, amije volt.

Azután eltávolítá Isten Jóbról a csapást, miután imádkozott vala az ő barátaiért, és kétszeresen visszaadá az Úr Jóbnak mindazt, a mije volt.

And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Domnul a adus pe Iov iarăşi în starea lui de la început, după ce s-a rugat Iov pentru prietenii săi. Şi Domnul i-a dat înapoi îndoit decât tot ce avusese.

And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

És elment hozzá minden férfi- és nőrokona és minden régi ismerőse, és együtt ettek vele a házában. Sajnálkoztak fölötte, és vigasztalták őt a sok nyomorúság miatt, amelyet az ÚR bocsátott rá; és mindenki adott neki egy-egy pénzt és egy-egy aranyfüggőt.

És beméne hozzá minden fiútestvére és minden leánytestvére és minden előbbi ismerőse, és evének ő vele együtt kenyeret az ő házában; sajnálkozának felette és vigasztalák őt mindama nyomorúság miatt, a melyet az Úr reá bocsátott vala, és kiki ada néki egy-egy pénzt, és kiki egy-egy aranyfüggőt.

Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Fraţii, surorile şi vechii prieteni ai lui Iov au venit toţi să-l vadă şi au mâncat cu el în casă. L-au plâns şi l-au mângâiat pentru toate nenorocirile pe care le trimisese Domnul peste el, şi fiecare i-a dat un chesita şi un inel de aur.

Then came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and ate bread with him in his house. And they showed him sympathy and comforted him for all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him. And each of them gave him a piece of money and a ring of gold.

Az ÚR pedig jobban megáldotta Jób életének a végét, mint a kezdetét, mert lett neki tizennégyezer juha, hatezer tevéje, ezer iga ökre és ezer szamara.

Az Úr pedig jobban megáldá a Jób [életének] végét, mint kezdetét, mert lőn néki tizennégyezer juha, hatezer tevéje, ezer igás ökre és ezer szamara.

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

În cei din urmă ani ai săi, Iov a primit de la Domnul mai multe binecuvântări decât primise în cei dintâi. A avut paisprezece mii de oi, şase mii de cămile, o mie de perechi de boi şi o mie de măgăriţe.

And the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. And he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.

Lett még hét fia és három leánya is.

És lőn néki hét fia és három leánya.

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

A avut şapte fii şi trei fete;

He had also seven sons and three daughters.

Az elsőnek a neve Jemimá, a másodiké Keciá, a harmadiké Keren-Happúk volt.

És az elsőnek neve vala Jémima, a másodiké Kecziha, a harmadiké Kéren- Happuk.

And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

celei dintâi i-a pus numele Iemima, celei de-a doua Cheţia şi celei de-a treia Cheren-Hapuc.

And he called the name of the first daughter Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch.

Nem lehetett olyan szép leányokat találni abban az egész tartományban, mint amilyenek Jób leányai voltak. Apjuk nekik is adott örökséget fiútestvéreik között.

És nem találtatnak vala olyan szép leányok, mint a Jób leányai, abban az egész tartományban, és az ő atyjok örökséget is ada nékik az ő fiútestvéreik között.

And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

În toată ţara nu erau femei aşa de frumoase ca fetele lui Iov. Tatăl lor le-a dat o parte de moştenire printre fraţii lor.

And in all the land there were no women so beautiful as Job’s daughters. And their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.

Jób pedig még száznegyven esztendeig élt ezután, és meglátta fiait és unokáit negyedíziglen.

Jób pedig él vala ezután száznegyven esztendeig, és látja vala az ő fiait és unokáit negyedízig.

After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

Iov a mai trăit după aceea o sută patruzeci de ani şi a văzut pe fiii săi şi pe fiii fiilor săi până la al patrulea neam.

And after this Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, four generations.

És öregen halt meg Jób, az élettel betelve.

És meghala Jób jó vénségben és betelve az élettel.

So Job died, being old and full of days.

Şi Iov a murit bătrân şi sătul de zile.

And Job died, an old man, and full of days.
