Várj még egy kicsit, majd felvilágosítalak, mert van még más mondanivalóm is Istenről.

Várj még egy kevéssé, majd felvilágosítlak, mert az Istenért még van mit mondanom.

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

„Aşteaptă puţin şi voi urma, căci mai am încă de vorbit pentru Dumnezeu.

“Bear with me a little, and I will show you, for I have yet something to say on God’s behalf.

Tudásomat messziről hozom, hogy igazoljam Alkotómat.

Tudásomat messzünnen veszem, és az én teremtőmnek igazat adok.

I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Îmi voi lua temeiurile de dreptate şi voi dovedi dreptatea Ziditorului meu.

I will get my knowledge from afar and ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

Mert az én beszédem bizony nem hazugság, egy tökéletes tudású áll melletted.

Mert az én beszédem bizonyára nem hazugság; tökéletes tudású [ember áll] melletted.

For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.

Fii încredinţat, cuvântările mele nu sunt minciuni, ci ai a face cu un om cu simţăminte curate.

For truly my words are not false; one who is perfect in knowledge is with you.

Íme, Isten mily hatalmas, és mégsem vet meg senkit. Hatalmas, és erős szívű.

Ímé, az Isten hatalmas, még sem vet meg semmit; hatalmas az ő lelkének ereje.

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

Dumnezeu este puternic, dar nu leapădă pe nimeni; şi este puternic prin tăria priceperii Lui.

“Behold, God is mighty, and does not despise any; he is mighty in strength of understanding.

Nem tartja életben a gonoszt, de a szegénynek igazságot szolgáltat.

Nem tartja meg a gonosznak életét, de a szegénynek igaz törvényt teszen.

He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.

El nu lasă pe cel rău să trăiască şi face dreptate celui nenorocit.

He does not keep the wicked alive, but gives the afflicted their right.

Nem veszi le szemét az igazról, sőt a királyok mellé, a trónra ülteti és örökre fölmagasztalja őket.

He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

Nu-Şi întoarce ochii de asupra celor fără prihană şi-i pune pe scaunul de domnie cu împăraţii, îi aşază pentru totdeauna ca să domnească.

He does not withdraw his eyes from the righteous, but with kings on the throne he sets them forever, and they are exalted.

Ha pedig béklyóba zárják, és a nyomorúság köteleivel tartják fogva őket,

És ha békókba veretnek, és fogva tartatnak a nyomorúság kötelein:

And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;

Se întâmplă să cadă în lanţuri şi să fie prinşi în legăturile nenorocirii?

And if they are bound in chains and caught in the cords of affliction,

tudtukra adja cselekedetüket és vétkeiket, hogy fölfuvalkodtak.

Tudtokra adja cselekedetöket, és vétkeiket, hogyha elhatalmaztak [rajtok].

Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

Le pune înainte faptele lor, fărădelegile lor, mândria lor.

then he declares to them their work and their transgressions, that they are behaving arrogantly.

Megnyitja fülüket a feddés előtt, és megparancsolja, hogy térjenek meg vétkeikből.

Megnyitja füleiket a feddőzésnek és megparancsolja, hogy a vétekből megtérjenek:

He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

Îi înştiinţează ca să se îndrepte, îi îndeamnă să se întoarcă de la nelegiuire.

He opens their ears to instruction and commands that they return from iniquity.

Ha hallgatnak rá, és szolgálnak neki, napjaikat jól töltik, és éveiket gyönyörűségben.

Ha engednek és szolgálnak néki, napjaikat jóban végzik el, és az ő esztendeiket gyönyörűségekben.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

Dacă ascultă şi se supun, îşi sfârşesc zilele în fericire şi anii în bucurie.

If they listen and serve him, they complete their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasantness.

Ha azonban nem hallgatnak rá, fegyver üti át őket, és tudatlanságuk miatt múlnak ki.

Ha pedig nem engednek, fegyverrel veretnek által, és tudatlanságban múlnak ki.

But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

Dacă n-ascultă, pier ucişi de sabie, mor în orbirea lor.

But if they do not listen, they perish by the sword and die without knowledge.

Az álnok szívűek haragot táplálnak, és nem kiáltanak Istenhez, amikor megkötözi őket.

De az álnok szívűek haragot táplálnak, nem kiáltanak, mikor megkötözi őket.

But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.

Nelegiuiţii se mânie, nu strigă către Dumnezeu când îi înlănţuie;

“The godless in heart cherish anger; they do not cry for help when he binds them.

Már fiatalon elhal a lelkük, és életük a paráznákéhoz hasonlít.

Azért ifjúságukban hal meg az ő lelkök, és életök a paráznákéhoz hasonló.

They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

îşi pierd viaţa în tinereţe, mor ca cei desfrânaţi.

They die in youth, and their life ends among the cult prostitutes.

A nyomorultat a nyomorúság által szabadítja meg, és a szorongattatás által nyitja meg a fülét.

He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.

Dar Dumnezeu scapă pe cel nenorocit prin nenorocirea lui, şi prin suferinţă îl înştiinţează.

He delivers the afflicted by their affliction and opens their ear by adversity.

Téged is kivezetne az ínség torkából tágas mezőre, ahol nincs szorultság, és asztalod zsíros étkekkel lenne rakva.

Téged is kiszabadítana az ínség torkából tág mezőre, a hol nincs szorultság, és asztalod étke kövérséggel lenne rakva;

Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.

Şi pe tine te va scoate din strâmtorare, ca să te pună la loc larg, în slobozenie deplină, şi masa ta va fi încărcată cu bucate gustoase.

He also allured you out of distress into a broad place where there was no cramping, and what was set on your table was full of fatness.

De ha gonosz ítélettel vagy tele, akkor jogosan ér utol az ítélet.

De ha gonosz ítélettel vagy tele, úgy utolérnek az ítélet és igazság.

But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.

Dar dacă-ţi aperi pricina ca un nelegiuit, pedeapsa este nedezlipită de pricina ta.

“But you are full of the judgment on the wicked; judgment and justice seize you.

Csak a harag ne ragadjon téged indulatra, és ne vezessen félre a nagy váltságdíj.

Csakhogy a harag ne ragadjon téged csúfkodásra, és a nagy váltságdíj se tántorítson el.

Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.

Supărarea să nu te împingă la batjocură, şi mărimea preţului răscumpărării să nu te ducă în rătăcire!

Beware lest wrath entice you into scoffing, and let not the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.

Rendben találja-e segélykiáltásodat és minden erőfeszítésedet?

Ad-é valamit a te gazdagságodra? Sem aranyra, sem semmiféle erőfeszítésre!

Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

Oare ar ajunge strigătele tale să te scoată din necaz şi chiar toate puterile pe care le-ai putea desfăşura?

Will your cry for help avail to keep you from distress, or all the force of your strength?

Ne kívánd azt az éjszakát, amely népeket mozdít ki helyükből.

Ne kívánjad az éjszakát, a mely népeket mozdít ki helyökből.

Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

Nu suspina după noapte, care ia popoarele din locul lor.

Do not long for the night, when peoples vanish in their place.

Vigyázz! Ne pártolj a bűnhöz, ne válaszd azt a nyomorúság helyett.

Vigyázz! ne pártolj a bűnhöz, noha azt a nyomorúságnál jobban szereted.

Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

Fereşte-te să faci rău, căci suferinţa te îndeamnă la rău.

Take care; do not turn to iniquity, for this you have chosen rather than affliction.

Íme, mily fenséges Isten az ő erejében. Ki az, aki úgy tanítana, mint ő?

Ímé, mily fenséges az Isten az ő erejében; kicsoda az, a ki úgy tanítson, mint ő?

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?

Dumnezeu este mare în puterea Lui; cine ar putea să înveţe pe alţii ca El?

Behold, God is exalted in his power; who is a teacher like him?

Kicsoda írhatja elő az útjait, és ki mondhatja neki: Igazságtalanságot cselekedtél?

Kicsoda szabta meg az ő útjait, vagy ki mondhatja [azt]: Igazságtalanságot cselekedtél?

Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?

Cine Îi cere socoteală de căile Lui şi cine îndrăzneşte să-I spună: „Faci rău”?

Who has prescribed for him his way, or who can say, ‘You have done wrong’?

Legyen rá gondod, hogy magasztald tetteit, amelyekről énekelnek az emberek!

Legyen rá gondod, hogy magasztaljad az ő cselekedetét, a melyről énekelnek az emberek!

Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.

Nu uita să lauzi faptele Lui, pe care toţi oamenii trebuie să le mărească!

“Remember to extol his work, of which men have sung.

Minden ember őt szemléli, de mivel halandó, csak távolról látja.

Minden ember azt szemléli; a halandó távolról is látja.

Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.

Orice om le priveşte, fiecare muritor le vede de departe.

All mankind has looked on it; man beholds it from afar.

Íme, Isten fenséges, de mi nem ismerhetjük őt! Éveinek száma sem nyomozható ki.

Ímé, az Isten fenséges, mi nem ismerhetjük őt! esztendeinek száma sem nyomozható ki.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

Iată ce mare e Dumnezeu! Dar noi nu-L putem pricepe, numărul anilor Lui nimeni nu l-a pătruns.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not; the number of his years is unsearchable.

Ha fölszívja a vízcseppeket, a felhőből eső csepereg,

Hogyha magához szívja a vízcseppeket, ködéből mint eső cseperegnek alá,

For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

Căci El trage la El picăturile de apă, le preface în abur şi dă ploaia,

For he draws up the drops of water; they distill his mist in rain,

amelyet a fellegek árasztanak és hullatnak le az emberek sokaságára.

A melyet a fellegek [özönnel] öntenek, és hullatnak le temérdek emberre.

Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

pe care norii o strecoară, şi o picură peste mulţimea oamenilor.

which the skies pour down and drop on mankind abundantly.

Értheti-e valaki, miért oszlik szét a felhő, miért zúg annak sátra?

De sőt értheti-é valaki a felhő szétoszlását, az ő sátorának zúgását?

Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

Şi cine poate pricepe ruperea norului şi bubuitul cortului Său?

Can anyone understand the spreading of the clouds, the thunderings of his pavilion?

Íme, szétterjeszti maga körül világosságát, de a tenger mélységeit befedi.

Ímé, szétterjeszti magára az ő világosságát, és ráborítja a tengernek gyökereit.

Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.

Iată, El Îşi întinde lumina în jurul Lui şi acoperă adâncimile mării.

Behold, he scatters his lightning about him and covers the roots of the sea.

Mert ezek által ítéli a népeket, de eledelt is ad bőségesen.

Mert ezek által ítéli meg a népeket, ád eledelt bőségesen.

For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.

Prin aceste mijloace, El judecă popoarele şi dă belşug de hrană.

For by these he judges peoples; he gives food in abundance.

Kezét villámlás tölti be, és kirendeli azt lázadói ellen.

Kezeit elborítja villámlással, és kirendeli a lázadó ellen.

With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.

Ia fulgerul în mână şi-l aruncă asupra potrivnicilor Lui.

He covers his hands with the lightning and commands it to strike the mark.

Hírt ad felőle a mennydörgés, mint a jószág a közeledő viharról.

Az ő dörgése ad hírt felőle, mint a barom a közeledő viharról.

The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

Dă de veste că e de faţă printr-un bubuit, şi până şi turmele Îi simt apropierea.

Its crashing declares his presence; the cattle also declare that he rises.

Bizony, megremeg a szívem, majd kiugrik a helyéből.

[Ezért remeg az én szívem, és csaknem kiszökik helyéből.]
