Segítettél-e az erőtlennek, és megtámasztottad-e a tehetetlen karját?

Bezzeg jól segítettél a tehetetlenen, meggyámolítottad az erőtelen kart!

How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength?

„Cât de bine ştii tu să vii în ajutorul slăbiciunii! Cum dai tu ajutor braţului fără putere!

“How you have helped him who has no power! How you have saved the arm that has no strength!

Adtál-e jó tanácsot a tudatlannak, és tanúságát adtad-e értelmed gazdagságának?

Bezzeg jó tanácsot adtál a tudatlannak, és sok értelmet tanusítottál!

How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is?

Ce bune sfaturi dai tu celui fără pricepere! Ce belşug de înţelepciune dai tu la iveală!

How you have counseled him who has no wisdom, and plentifully declared sound knowledge!

Ki által beszéltél, és kinek a lelke szólt belőled?

Kivel beszélgettél, és kinek a lelke jött ki belőled?

To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee?

Către cine se îndreaptă cuvintele tale? Şi al cui duh vorbeşte prin tine?

With whose help have you uttered words, and whose breath has come out from you?

Megremegnek a holtak, akik a vizek alatt laknak, azoknak lakóival együtt.

A halottak is megremegnek [tőle;] a vizek alatt levők és azok lakói is.

Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

Înaintea lui Dumnezeu tremură umbrele sub ape şi sub locuitorii lor;

The dead tremble under the waters and their inhabitants.

A Seol mezítelen őelőtte, és leplezetlen a holtak országa.

Az alvilág mezítelen előtte, és eltakaratlan a holtak országa.

Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

înaintea Lui Locuinţa morţilor este goală, adâncul n-are acoperiş.

Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.

He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Ő köti felhőibe a vizeket úgy, hogy a felhő ne hasadjon meg alattuk.

He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

Ő rejti el királyi székét, felhőt terjesztve ki fölötte.

Ő rejti el királyi székének színét, felhőjét fölibe terítvén.

He holdeth back the face of his throne, and spreadeth his cloud upon it.

Acoperă faţa scaunului Său de domnie şi Îşi întinde norul peste el.

He covers the face of the full moon and spreads over it his cloud.

He hath compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

He has inscribed a circle on the face of the waters at the boundary between light and darkness.

Fenyegetéseitől meginognak és megrendülnek az egek oszlopai.

The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

He divideth the sea with his power, and by his understanding he smiteth through the proud.

Prin puterea Lui tulbură marea, prin priceperea Lui îi sfărâmă furia.

By his power he stilled the sea; by his understanding he shattered Rahab.

Leheletével fölékesíti az eget, keze átdöfi a menekülő kígyót.

By his spirit he hath garnished the heavens; his hand hath formed the crooked serpent.

Suflarea Lui înseninează cerul, mâna Lui străpunge şarpele fugar.

By his wind the heavens were made fair; his hand pierced the fleeing serpent.

Íme, mindez csak útjának szegélye, és mily csöndes szó az, amit meghallunk tőle! Ám hatalmas mennydörgését ki érthetné meg?

Ímé, ezek az ő útainak részei, de mily kicsiny rész az, a mit meghallunk abból! Ám az ő hatalmának mennydörgését ki érthetné meg?

Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

Şi acestea sunt doar marginile căilor Sale, şi numai adierea lor uşoară ajunge până la noi! Dar tunetul lucrărilor Lui puternice cine-l va auzi?”

Behold, these are but the outskirts of his ways, and how small a whisper do we hear of him! But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
