Mikor akartok a beszédnek véget vetni? Fontoljátok meg a dolgot, azután beszélhetünk.

Mikor akartok a beszédnek véget vetni? Értsétek meg [a dolgot], azután szóljunk.

How long will it be ere ye make an end of words? mark, and afterwards we will speak.

„Când vei pune capăt acestor cuvântări? Vino-ţi în minte, şi apoi vom vorbi.

“How long will you hunt for words? Consider, and then we will speak.

Miért tartasz minket állatnak, és miért vagyunk bolondok a szemedben?

Miért állíttatunk barmoknak, és miért vagyunk tisztátalanok a ti szemeitekben?

Wherefore are we counted as beasts, and reputed vile in your sight?

Pentru ce ne socoteşti atât de dobitoci? Pentru ce ne priveşti ca pe nişte vite?

Why are we counted as cattle? Why are we stupid in your sight?

Vajon ha lelkedet marcangolod haragodban, talán elnéptelenedik a föld, és kiszakad a kőszikla a helyéről?

Te éretted, a ki szaggatja lelkét haragjában, vajjon elhagyattatik-é a föld, és felszakasztatik-é a kőszikla helyéről?

He teareth himself in his anger: shall the earth be forsaken for thee? and shall the rock be removed out of his place?

Oare pentru tine, care te sfâşii în mânia ta, s-ajungă pustiu pământul şi să se strămute stâncile din locul lor?

You who tear yourself in your anger, shall the earth be forsaken for you, or the rock be removed out of its place?

Sőt a gonoszok világossága kialszik, és nem fénylik tüzük lángja.

Sőt inkább a gonoszok világa kialuszik, és nem fénylik az ő tüzöknek szikrája.

Yea, the light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine.

Da, lumina celui rău se va stinge, şi flacăra din focul lui nu va mai străluci.

“Indeed, the light of the wicked is put out, and the flame of his fire does not shine.

A világosság elsötétedik sátrában, mécsese kialszik mellette.

A világosság elsötétedik az ő sátorában, szövétneke kialszik felette.

The light shall be dark in his tabernacle, and his candle shall be put out with him.

Se va întuneca lumina în cortul lui şi se va stinge candela deasupra lui.

The light is dark in his tent, and his lamp above him is put out.

The steps of his strength shall be straitened, and his own counsel shall cast him down.

Paşii lui cei puternici se vor strâmta, şi, cu toate opintirile lui, va cădea.

His strong steps are shortened, and his own schemes throw him down.

Mert lába hálóba bonyolódik, és verem fölött jár.

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walketh upon a snare.

Căci calcă cu picioarele pe laţ şi umblă prin ochiuri de reţea;

For he is cast into a net by his own feet, and he walks on its mesh.

Sarka csapdába akad, és kelepce fogja meg.

A sarka tőrbe akad, és kelepcze fogja meg őt.

The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail against him.

este prins în cursă de călcâi, şi laţul pune stăpânire pe el;

A trap seizes him by the heel; a snare lays hold of him.

Hurkot rejtettek el neki a földön és kötelet megszokott ösvényén.

Hurok rejtetett el a földbe ellene, és zsineg az ő [szokott] ösvényén.

The snare is laid for him in the ground, and a trap for him in the way.

capcana în care se prinde este ascunsă în pământ, şi prinzătoarea îi stă pe cărare.

A rope is hidden for him in the ground, a trap for him in the path.

Mindenfelől félelmek rettentik és lépten-nyomon üldözik.

Mindenfelől félelmek rettentik őt, és üldözik őt léptennyomon.

Terrors shall make him afraid on every side, and shall drive him to his feet.

De jur împrejur îl apucă spaima şi-l urmăreşte pas cu pas.

Terrors frighten him on every side, and chase him at his heels.

Éhség emészti föl erejét, és a nyomorúság készen áll, hogy elbuktassa.

Éhség emészti fel az ő erejét, és nyomorúság leselkedik oldala mellett.

His strength shall be hungerbitten, and destruction shall be ready at his side.

Foamea îi mănâncă puterile, nenorocirea este alături de el.

His strength is famished, and calamity is ready for his stumbling.

It shall devour the strength of his skin: even the firstborn of death shall devour his strength.

It consumes the parts of his skin; the firstborn of death consumes his limbs.

El kell hagynia sátra biztonságát, és a félelmek királyához kell folyamodnia.

Eltünik sátorából az ő bátorsága, és a félelmek királyához folyamodik ő.

His confidence shall be rooted out of his tabernacle, and it shall bring him to the king of terrors.

Este smuls din cortul lui unde se credea la adăpost şi este târât spre împăratul spaimelor.

He is torn from the tent in which he trusted and is brought to the king of terrors.

Nem az övéi laknak sátrában, hajlékára kénkövet szórnak.

Az lakik sátorában, a ki nem az övé, és hajlékára kénkövet szórnak.

It shall dwell in his tabernacle, because it is none of his: brimstone shall be scattered upon his habitation.

Nimeni din ai lui nu locuieşte în cortul lui, pucioasă este presărată pe locuinţa lui.

In his tent dwells that which is none of his; sulfur is scattered over his habitation.

Alul elszáradnak gyökerei, és felül leszárad az ága.

Alant elszáradnak gyökerei, és felülről levágatik az ága.

His roots shall be dried up beneath, and above shall his branch be cut off.

Jos, i se usucă rădăcinile; sus îi sunt ramurile tăiate.

His roots dry up beneath, and his branches wither above.

Emlékezete elvész a földről, még az utcákon sem marad fenn a neve.

His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall have no name in the street.

Világosságból sötétségbe taszítják és a föld kerekségéről elüldözik.

A világosságról a sötétségbe taszítják, a föld kerekségéről elüldözik őt.

He shall be driven from light into darkness, and chased out of the world.

Este împins din lumină în întuneric şi este izgonit din lume.

He is thrust from light into darkness, and driven out of the world.

Sem utódja, sem sarja nem lesz népe között, és senkije sem marad lakóhelyén.

Sem fia, sem unokája nem lesz az ő népében, és semmi maradéka az ő tanyáján.

He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings.

Nu lasă nici moştenitori, nici sămânţă în poporul său, nicio rămăşiţă vie în locurile în care locuia.

He has no posterity or progeny among his people, and no survivor where he used to live.

Pusztulásától megborzadnak napnyugat fiai, és rettegés fogja el a keletieket.

Az ő pusztulásától megborzadnak, a kik következnek és rettegés fogja el a most élő embereket.

They that come after him shall be astonied at his day, as they that went before were affrighted.

Neamurile care vor veni se vor uimi de prăpădirea lui, şi neamul de acum va fi cuprins de groază.

They of the west are appalled at his day, and horror seizes them of the east.

Ilyenek hát az álnok ember hajlékai, és ilyen annak a lakóhelye, aki nem ismeri Istent.

Ilyenek az álnok embernek hajlékai, és ilyen annak lakóhelye, a ki nem tiszteli Istent.

Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, and this is the place of him that knoweth not God.

Aceasta este soarta celui rău, aceasta este soarta celui ce nu cunoaşte pe Dumnezeu.”

Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous, such is the place of him who knows not God.”
