Miután ez a három férfi már nem felelt többet Jóbnak, mivel ő igaznak tartotta magát a saját szemében,

Miután ez a három ember megszünt vala felelni Jóbnak, mivel ő igaz vala önmaga előtt:

So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Aceşti trei oameni au încetat să mai răspundă lui Iov, pentru că el se socotea fără vină.

haragra gerjedt Barakél fia, a Búzból, Rám nemzetségéből való Elíhú. Jóbra haragudott, mivel igaznak tartotta magát Istennel szemben.

Haragra gerjede Elihu, a Barakeél fia, a ki Búztól való vala, a Rám nemzetségéből. Jób ellen gerjedt föl haragja, mivel az igazabbnak tartotta magát Istennél.

Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Atunci s-a aprins de mânie Elihu, fiul lui Baracheel din Buz, din familia lui Ram. El s-a aprins de mânie împotriva lui Iov, pentru că zicea că este fără vină înaintea lui Dumnezeu.

Then Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram, burned with anger. He burned with anger at Job because he justified himself rather than God.

De három barátja ellen is fölgerjedt haragja, mivel nem találták meg a helyes választ, és mégis kárhoztatták Jóbot.

De felgerjedt haragja az ő három barátja ellen is, mivelhogy nem találják vala el a feleletet, mégis kárhoztatják vala Jóbot.

Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

Şi s-a aprins de mânie împotriva celor trei prieteni ai lui, pentru că nu găseau nimic de răspuns şi totuşi osândeau pe Iov.

He burned with anger also at Job’s three friends because they had found no answer, although they had declared Job to be in the wrong.

Elíhú azonban várt Jóbnak szánt beszédével, mert amazok idősebbek voltak nála.

Elihu azonban várakozott a Jóbbal való beszéddel, mert amazok öregebbek valának ő nála.

Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

Fiindcă ei erau mai în vârstă decât el, Elihu aşteptase până în clipa aceasta, ca să vorbească lui Iov.

Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because they were older than he.

De amikor Elíhú látta, hogy nincs felelet a három férfi szájában, akkor fölgerjedt haragja.

De mikor látta Elihu, hogy nincs felelet a három férfiú szájában, akkor gerjede föl az ő haragja.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

Dar, văzând că nu mai era niciun răspuns în gura acestor trei oameni, Elihu s-a aprins de mânie.

And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, he burned with anger.

Így válaszolt a Búzból való Elíhú, Barakél fia: Napjaimra nézve én még fiatal vagyok, ti pedig élemedett korúak, ezért tartózkodtam, és féltem közölni veletek véleményem.

És felele a Búztól való Elihu, Barakeél fia, és monda: Napjaimra nézve én még csekély vagyok, ti pedig élemedett emberek, azért tartózkodtam és féltem tudatni veletek véleményemet.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not shew you mine opinion.

Şi Elihu, fiul lui Baracheel din Buz, a luat cuvântul şi a zis: „Eu sunt tânăr, şi voi sunteţi bătrâni: de aceea m-am temut şi m-am ferit să vă arăt gândul meu.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said: “I am young in years, and you are aged; therefore I was timid and afraid to declare my opinion to you.

Azt gondoltam, hadd beszéljen a kor, és hadd hirdessen bölcsességet az évek sokasága!

Gondoltam: Hadd szóljanak a napok; és hadd hirdessen bölcseséget az évek sokasága!

I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

Eu îmi ziceam: „Să vorbească bătrâneţea, marele număr de ani să înveţe pe alţii înţelepciunea.”

I said, ‘Let days speak, and many years teach wisdom.’

Pedig a lélek az az emberben és a Mindenható lehelete, ami értelmet ad neki!

Pedig a lélek az az emberben és a Mindenható lehellése, a mi értelmet ad néki!

But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.

Dar, de fapt, în om, duhul, suflarea Celui Atotputernic, dă priceperea.

But it is the spirit in man, the breath of the Almighty, that makes him understand.

Nem az idősek a bölcsek, és nem a vének tudják, mi az igazság.

Nem a nagyok a bölcsek, és nem a vének értik az ítéletet.

Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

Nu vârsta aduce înţelepciunea, nu bătrâneţea te face în stare să judeci.

It is not the old who are wise, nor the aged who understand what is right.

Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will shew mine opinion.

Iată de ce zic: Ascultaţi-mă! Îmi voi spune şi eu părerea.

Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me; let me also declare my opinion.’

Íme, én végigvártam beszédeteket, figyeltem, amíg okoskodtatok, amíg szavakat keresgéltetek.

Ímé, én végig vártam beszédeiteket, figyeltem, a míg okoskodtatok, a míg szavakat keresgéltetek.

Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst ye searched out what to say.

Am aşteptat sfârşitul cuvântărilor voastre, v-am urmărit dovezile, cercetarea pe care aţi făcut-o cuvintelor lui Iov.

“Behold, I waited for your words, I listened for your wise sayings, while you searched out what to say.

Igen figyeltem rátok, és íme, Jóbot egyikőtök sem tudta megcáfolni, egyikőtök sem felelt meg érveire.

Igen ügyeltem reátok és ímé, Jóbot egyikőtök sem czáfolá meg, sem beszédére meg nem felelt.

Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

V-am dat toată luarea aminte; şi iată că niciunul din voi nu l-a încredinţat, niciunul nu i-a răsturnat cuvintele.

I gave you my attention, and, behold, there was none among you who refuted Job or who answered his words.

Ne mondjátok: Megtaláltuk a bölcsességet: csak Isten győzheti meg őt, és nem ember!

Ne mondjátok azt: Bölcseségre találtunk, Isten győzheti meg őt és nem ember!

Lest ye should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusteth him down, not man.

Să nu ziceţi însă: „În el, noi am găsit înţelepciunea; numai Dumnezeu îl poate înfunda, nu un om!”

Beware lest you say, ‘We have found wisdom; God may vanquish him, not a man.’

Mivel nem hozzám intézte szavait, így nem a ti beszédeitekkel válaszolok neki.

Mivel én ellenem nem intézett beszédet, nem is a ti beszédeitekkel válaszolok hát néki.

Now he hath not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

Mie nu mi-a vorbit de-a dreptul: de aceea eu îi voi răspunde cu totul altfel decât voi.

He has not directed his words against me, and I will not answer him with your speeches.

Megzavarodtak, és nem feleltek többé, kifogyott belőlük a szó.

Megzavarodának és nem feleltek többé; kifogyott belőlök a szó.

They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

Ei se tem, nu mai răspund! Li s-a tăiat cuvântul!

“They are dismayed; they answer no more; they have not a word to say.

Vártam, de ők nem szóltak, csak álltak, és nem feleltek többé.

When I had waited, (for they spake not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

Am aşteptat până şi-au sfârşit cuvântările, până s-au oprit şi n-au ştiut ce să mai răspundă.

And shall I wait, because they do not speak, because they stand there, and answer no more?

Hadd beszéljek én is a magam részéről, hadd közöljem én is véleményem!

Hadd feleljek hát én is magamért, hadd tudassam én is véleményemet!

I said, I will answer also my part, I also will shew mine opinion.

Vreau să răspund şi eu la rândul meu, vreau să spun şi eu ce gândesc.

I also will answer with my share; I also will declare my opinion.

Mert tele vagyok szavakkal, unszol engem a bennem levő lélek.

Mert tele vagyok beszéddel; unszolgat engem a bennem levő lélek.

For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constraineth me.

Căci sunt plin de cuvinte, îmi dă ghes duhul înăuntrul meu;

For I am full of words; the spirit within me constrains me.

Íme, bensőm olyan, mint az új tömlőbe zárt bor, csaknem szétszakad.

Ímé, bensőm olyan, mint az [új] bor, a melynek nyílása nincsen; miként az új tömlők, [csaknem] szétszakad.

Behold, my belly is as wine which hath no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

lăuntrul meu este ca un vin care n-are pe unde să iasă, ca nişte burdufuri noi, gata să plesnească.

Behold, my belly is like wine that has no vent; like new wineskins ready to burst.

Szólok tehát, hogy levegőhöz jussak, fölnyitom ajkamat, és felelek.

Szólok tehát, hogy levegőhöz jussak; felnyitom ajkaimat, és felelek.

I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

Voi vorbi deci ca să răsuflu în voie, îmi voi deschide buzele şi voi răspunde.

I must speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer.

Nem leszek személyválogató senkivel szemben, nem hízelgek egy embernek sem.

Nem leszek személyválogató senki iránt; nem hizelkedem egy embernek sem;

Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

Nu voi căuta la înfăţişare, nu voi linguşi pe nimeni;

I will not show partiality to any man or use flattery toward any person.

Mert én nem tudok hízelegni; hamar elszólíthatna engem alkotóm!

Mert én hizelkedni nem tudok; könnyen elszólíthatna engem a teremtőm!

For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

căci nu ştiu să linguşesc: altfel, într-o clipită m-ar lua Ziditorul meu.

For I do not know how to flatter, else my Maker would soon take me away.
