Ekkor az ÚR így szólt Jóbnak a forgószélből:

Ekkor szóla az Úr Jóbnak a forgószélből, és monda:

Moreover the LORD answered Job, and said,

Domnul a vorbit lui Iov şi a zis:

And the LORD said to Job:

Rajta, övezd föl derekadat férfiasan! Én kérdezlek, te pedig taníts engem!

Nosza! övezd fel, mint férfi, derekadat; én kérdezlek, te pedig taníts engem!

Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.

„Eşti încredinţat acum tu, care vorbeşti împotriva Celui Atotputernic? Tu care mustri pe Dumnezeu, mai ai vreun răspuns de dat?”

“Shall a faultfinder contend with the Almighty? He who argues with God, let him answer it.”

Vajon semmivé teheted-e az én igazságomat; kárhoztathatsz-e engem azért, hogy te légy igaz?

Avagy semmivé teheted-é te az én igazságomat; kárhoztathatsz-é te engem azért, hogy te igaz légy?

Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

Iov a răspuns Domnului, şi a zis:

Van-e olyan a karod, mint Istené, mennydörgő hangon szólsz-e, mint ő?

És van-é ugyanolyan karod, mint az Istennek, mennydörgő hangon szólasz- é, mint ő?

Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

„Iată, eu sunt prea mic; ce să-Ţi răspund? Îmi pun mâna la gură.

“Behold, I am of small account; what shall I answer you? I lay my hand on my mouth.

Ékesítsd csak föl magad fenséggel és méltósággal. Ruházd föl magadat ékességgel és dicsőséggel!

Ékesítsd csak fel magadat fénynyel és méltósággal, ruházd fel magadat dicsőséggel és fenséggel!

Once have I spoken; but I will not answer: yea, twice; but I will proceed no further.

Am vorbit o dată, şi nu voi mai răspunde; de două ori, şi nu voi mai adăuga nimic.”

I have spoken once, and I will not answer; twice, but I will proceed no further.”

Öntsd ki haragod tüzét, láss meg minden kevélyt, és alázd meg őket!

Öntsd ki haragodnak tüzét, és láss meg minden kevélyt és alázd meg őket!

Then answered the LORD unto Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said:

Láss meg minden kevélyt, és törd meg őket, és tipord el helyükön a gonoszokat.

Láss meg minden kevélyt és törd meg őket, és a gonoszokat az ő helyükön tipord le!

Gird up thy loins now like a man: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.

„Încinge-ţi mijlocul ca un viteaz; ca Eu să te întreb, şi tu să Mă înveţi.

“Dress for action like a man; I will question you, and you make it known to me.

Rejtsd el mindnyájukat a porba, arcukat fedd be mélységes sötéttel.

Rejtsd el őket együvé a porba, orczájukat kösd be mélységes sötéttel:

Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?

Vrei să nimiceşti până şi dreptatea Mea? Şi să Mă osândeşti, ca să-ţi scoţi dreptatea?

Will you even put me in the wrong? Will you condemn me that you may be in the right?

Akkor én is dicsőítlek, mert jobbod téged megsegített!

Akkor én is dicsőítlek, hogy megtartott téged a te jobbkezed!

Hast thou an arm like God? or canst thou thunder with a voice like him?

Ai tu un braţ ca al lui Dumnezeu şi un glas de tunet ca al Lui?

Have you an arm like God, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

Nézd csak a vízilovat: én teremtettem, mint téged is; fűvel él, mint az ökör!

Nézd csak a behemótot, a melyet én teremtettem, a miként téged is, fűvel él, mint az ökör!

Deck thyself now with majesty and excellency; and array thyself with glory and beauty.

Împodobeşte-te cu măreţie şi mărime, îmbracă-te cu strălucire şi cu slavă!

“Adorn yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor.

Nézd csak, milyen erős a dereka, és milyen erősek hasizmai!

Nézd csak az erejét az ő ágyékában, és az ő erősségét hasának izmaiban!

Cast abroad the rage of thy wrath: and behold every one that is proud, and abase him.

Varsă-ţi valurile mâniei tale şi doboară cu o privire pe cei trufaşi!

Pour out the overflowings of your anger, and look on everyone who is proud and abase him.

Hajlítja farkát, mint valami cédrust, combjának inai egymásba fonódnak.

Kiegyenesíti farkát, mint valami czédrust, lágyékának inai egymásba fonódnak.

Look on every one that is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

Smereşte cu o privire pe cei trufaşi, zdrobeşte pe loc pe cei răi,

Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low and tread down the wicked where they stand.

Csontjai érccsövek, lábszárai olyanok, mint a vasrudak.

Csontjai érczcsövek, lábszárai, mint a vasrudak.

Hide them in the dust together; and bind their faces in secret.

ascunde-i pe toţi împreună în ţărână, înveleşte-le faţa în întuneric!

Hide them all in the dust together; bind their faces in the world below.

Isten alkotásainak remeke ez. Alkotója fegyvert is adott neki.

Az Isten alkotásainak remeke ez, az ő teremtője adta meg néki fegyverét.

Then will I also confess unto thee that thine own right hand can save thee.

Şi atunci voi aduce şi Eu lauda puterii dreptei tale.

Then will I also acknowledge to you that your own right hand can save you.

A hegyek adnak neki terményt, és a mező minden vadja ott játszadozik.

Mert füvet teremnek számára a hegyek, és a mező minden vadja ott játszadozik.

Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.

Uită-te la hipopotamul, căruia i-am dat viaţă ca şi ţie! El mănâncă iarbă ca boul.

“Behold, Behemoth, which I made as I made you; he eats grass like an ox.

Lótuszbokrok alatt hever, a nádasok és mocsarak búvóhelyein.

Lótuszfák alatt heverész, a nádak és mocsarak búvóhelyein.

Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.

Uită-te ce tărie are în coapse şi ce putere are în muşchii pântecelui său!

Behold, his strength in his loins, and his power in the muscles of his belly.

Elfedi őt a lótuszbokrok árnya, körülveszik a folyóparti füzek.

Befedezi őt a lótuszfák árnyéka, [és] körülveszik őt a folyami fűzfák.

He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.

Îşi îndoaie coada tare ca un cedru, şi vinele coapselor lui sunt întreţesute.

He makes his tail stiff like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together.

Ha árad is a folyó, nem nyugtalankodik; biztonságban van, még ha szájáig érne is a Jordán.

Ha árad is a folyó, nem siet; bizton van, ha szájához a Jordán csapna is.

His bones are as strong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.

Oasele lui sunt ca nişte ţevi de aramă, mădularele lui sunt ca nişte drugi de fier.

His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like bars of iron.

Elfoghatják-e őt szemtől szemben, vagy átfúrhatják-e az orrát?

Megfoghatják-é őt szemei láttára, vagy átfúrhatják-é az orrát tőrökkel?!

He is the chief of the ways of God: he that made him can make his sword to approach unto him.

El este cea mai mare dintre lucrările lui Dumnezeu. Cel ce l-a făcut l-a înzestrat cu o suliţă.

“He is the first of the works of God; let him who made him bring near his sword!

Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.

El îşi găseşte hrana în munţi, unde se joacă toate fiarele câmpului.

He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.

Se culcă sub lotus, în mijlocul trestiilor şi mlaştinilor.

The shady trees cover him with their shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.

Desişul lotusului îl acoperă cu umbra lui, sălciile pârâului îl înconjoară.

23

Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.

Dacă se întâmplă ca râul să iasă din matcă, el nu fuge: chiar de s-ar năpusti Iordanul în gâtlejul lui, el ar rămâne liniştit.

He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

Crezi că-l poţi prinde lovindu-l în faţă? Sau crezi că-i vei putea străpunge nasul cu ajutorul laţurilor?
