Történt pedig a Júda királyának, Áháznak napjaiban, aki Jótámnak, Uzzijjá fiának a fia volt, hogy eljött Recín, Arám királya és Pekah, Remaljá fia, Izráel királya Jeruzsálem ellen, hogy megostromolja, de nem tudták bevenni.

És lőn a Júda királyának, Akháznak, az Uzziás fiának, Jóthám fiának napjaiban, eljöve Reczin, Sziriának királya, és Remaljának fia, Pékah, Izráelnek királya Jeruzsálem ellen, hogy azt megostromolja; de nem veheté meg azt.

And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

S-a întâmplat, pe vremea lui Ahaz, fiul lui Iotam, fiul lui Ozia, împăratul lui Iuda, că Reţin, împăratul Siriei, s-a suit cu Pecah, fiul lui Remalia, împăratul lui Israel, împotriva Ierusalimului, ca să-l bată; dar n-a putut să-l bată.

In the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah the king of Israel came up to Jerusalem to wage war against it, but could not yet mount an attack against it.

Hírül vitték ezt Dávid házának, és jelentették: Arám egyesült Efraimmal! Erre úgy reszketni kezdett a király szíve és népének szíve, ahogyan az erdő fái reszketnek a szélben.

És hírül vivék a Dávid házának, mondván: Sziria Efraimmal egyesült! és megindula szíve s népének szíve, a mint megindulnak az erdő fái a szél miatt.

And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the wood are moved with the wind.

Când au venit şi au spus casei lui David: „Sirienii au tăbărât în Efraim!”, a tremurat inima lui Ahaz şi inima poporului său, cum se clatină copacii din pădure când bate vântul.

When the house of David was told, “Syria is in league with Ephraim,” the heart of Ahaz and the heart of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake before the wind.

De az ÚR azt mondta Ézsaiásnak: Menj ki, te és a fiad, Seárjásúb Áház elé a Felső-tó csatornájának végéhez, a Ruhafestők mezejéhez vivő útra,

És mondá az Úr Ésaiásnak: Menj ki, kérlek, Akház eleibe te és Seár-Jásub fiad, a felső tó csatornájának végéhez, a ruhafestők mezejének útján;

Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, thou, and Shearjashub thy son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the fuller's field;

Atunci Domnul a zis lui Isaia: „Ieşi înaintea lui Ahaz, tu şi fiul tău Şear-Iaşub, la capătul canalului de apă al iazului de sus, pe drumul care duce la ogorul înălbitorului

And the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out to meet Ahaz, you and Shear-jashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool on the highway to the Washer’s Field.

és mondd meg neki: Vigyázz, és légy nyugodt, ne félj! Ne lágyuljon meg a szíved e két füstölgő üszkös fadarab miatt, Recínnek, az aráminak és Remaljá fiának fölgerjedt haragja miatt!

És mondd néki: Vigyázz és légy nyugodt; ne félj! és meg ne lágyuljon szíved e két füstölgő üszögdarab miatt, Reczinnek és Sziriának, és Remalja fiának felgerjedett haragja miatt!

And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

şi spune-i: „Ia seama şi fii liniştit; nu te teme de nimic, şi să nu ţi se înmoaie inima din pricina acestor două cozi de tăciuni care fumegă: din pricina mâniei lui Reţin şi a Siriei, şi din pricina fiului lui Remalia!

And say to him, ‘Be careful, be quiet, do not fear, and do not let your heart be faint because of these two smoldering stumps of firebrands, at the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria and the son of Remaliah.

Mert gonoszt tervelt ki ellened Arám, Efraim és Remaljá fia, ezt mondva:

Mivelhogy gonosz tanácsot tartott ellened Sziria, Efraim és Remalja fia, mondván:

Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel against thee, saying,

Nu te teme că Siria gândeşte rău împotriva ta şi că Efraim şi fiul lui Remalia zic:

Because Syria, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has devised evil against you, saying,

Menjünk Júda ellen, félemlítsük meg, és kapcsoljuk magunkhoz, és tegyük királlyá fölötte Tábal fiát.

Menjünk el Júda ellen, s reszkettessük meg, és kapcsoljuk magunkhoz, és tegyük királylyá benne Tábeal fiát,

Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:

„Să ne suim împotriva lui Iuda, să batem cetatea, s-o spargem şi să punem împărat în ea pe fiul lui Tabeel.”

“Let us go up against Judah and terrify it, and let us conquer it for ourselves, and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,”

De az ÚR Isten így szól: Nem valósul meg, és nem úgy lesz!

Így szól az Úr Isten: Nem áll meg és nem lészen ez!

Thus saith the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Aşa ceva nu se va întâmpla şi nu va avea loc.

thus says the Lord GOD: “‘It shall not stand, and it shall not come to pass.

Mert Arám feje Damaszkusz, és Damaszkusz feje Recín, és még hatvanöt esztendő, és elpusztul Efraim, és nem lesz többé nép.

Mert Sziria feje Damaskus, és Damaskusnak feje Reczin, és még hatvanöt esztendő, s megromol Efraim és nép nem lészen.

For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not a people.

Căci Damascul va fi capitala Siriei, şi Reţin va fi capitala Damascului. Şi peste şaizeci şi cinci de ani Efraim va fi nimicit şi nu va mai fi un popor.

For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin. And within sixty-five years Ephraim will be shattered from being a people.

Efraim feje pedig Samária, és Samária feje Remaljá fia. Ha nem hisztek, bizony nem maradtok meg!

Efraim feje pedig Samaria, és Samaria feje a Remalja fia: ha nem hisztek, bizony meg nem maradtok!

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If ye will not believe, surely ye shall not be established.

Samaria va fi capitala lui Efraim, şi fiul lui Remalia va fi capul Samariei. Dacă nu credeţi, nu veţi sta în picioare.”

And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is the son of Remaliah. If you are not firm in faith, you will not be firm at all.’”

Azután így szólt az ÚR Áházhoz:

És szóla ismét az Úr Akházhoz, mondván:

Moreover the LORD spake again unto Ahaz, saying,

Domnul a vorbit din nou lui Ahaz şi i-a zis:

Again the LORD spoke to Ahaz:

Kérj jelt Istenedtől, az ÚRtól, kérj a mélységből vagy föntről a magasból!

Kérj jelt magadnak az Úrtól, a te Istenedtől, kérj a mélységben vagy fent a magasban!

Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.

„Cere un semn de la Domnul Dumnezeul tău; cere-l, fie în locurile de jos, fie în locurile de sus.”

“Ask a sign of the LORD your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven.”

Mikor azután Áház így szólt: „Nem kérek, és nem kísértem az URat!”,

És mikor szóla Akház: Nem kérek s nem kisértem az Urat!

But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.

Ahaz a răspuns: „Nu vreau să cer nimic, ca să nu ispitesc pe Domnul.”

But Ahaz said, “I will not ask, and I will not put the LORD to the test.”

akkor azt mondta a próféta: Halld meg hát, Dávid háza! Hát nem elég, hogy embereknek okoztok bosszúságot, még Istenemet is bosszantjátok?

Akkor monda [a próféta:] Halld meg hát, Dávid háza! hát nem elég embereket bosszantanotok, hogy még az én Istenemet is bosszantjátok?

And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my God also?

Isaia a zis atunci: „Ascultaţi totuşi, casa lui David! Nu vă ajunge oare să obosiţi răbdarea oamenilor, de mai obosiţi şi pe a Dumnezeului meu?

And he said, “Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my God also?

Ezért maga az ÚR ad jelt nektek: Íme, a szűz fogan méhében, és fiút szül, és Immánuelnek nevezik őt.

Ezért ád jelt néktek az Úr maga: Ímé, a szűz fogan méhében, és szül fiat, s nevezi azt Immánuelnek,

Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

De aceea, Domnul însuşi vă va da un semn: „Iată, fecioara va rămâne însărcinată, va naşte un Fiu şi-I va pune numele Emanuel.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Vajat és mézet eszik, míg megtanulja a gonoszt elvetni és a jót választani.

Ki vajat és mézet eszik, míg megtanulja a gonoszt megvetni, és a jót választani;

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

El va mânca smântână şi miere până va şti să lepede răul şi să aleagă binele.

He shall eat curds and honey when he knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good.

Mert mielőtt e gyermek megtanulná elvetni a gonoszt és a jót választani, pusztává lesz az a föld, amelynek két királyától reszketsz.

Mert mielőtt e gyermek megtanulná megvetni a gonoszt, és a jót választani, elpusztul a föld, melynek két királyától te reszketsz.

For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land that thou abhorrest shall be forsaken of both her kings.

Dar înainte ca să ştie copilul să lepede răul şi să aleagă binele, ţara, de ai cărei doi împăraţi te temi tu, va fi pustiită.

For before the boy knows how to refuse the evil and choose the good, the land whose two kings you dread will be deserted.

Az ÚR pedig oly napokat fog hozni rád, népedre és atyád házára, amilyenek még nem voltak, mióta Efraim elszakadt Júdától: elhozza Asszíria királyát.

És hozni fog az Úr reád és népedre és atyád házára oly napokat, milyenek még nem jöttenek, mióta Efraim elszakadott Júdától: Assiria királyát.

The LORD shall bring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

Domnul va aduce peste tine, peste poporul tău şi peste casa tatălui tău zile cum n-au mai fost niciodată, din ziua când s-a despărţit Efraim de Iuda (adică pe împăratul Asiriei).”

The LORD will bring upon you and upon your people and upon your father’s house such days as have not come since the day that Ephraim departed from Judah—the king of Assyria!”

Azon a napon füttyent az ÚR a legyeknek Egyiptom folyóvize mellett és a méheknek Asszíria földjén,

És lesz ama napon: süvölt az Úr az Égyiptom folyóvize mellett való legyeknek, s Assiria földje méheinek,

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

În ziua aceea, Domnul va şuiera muştelor de la capătul râurilor Egiptului şi albinelor din ţara Asiriei;

In that day the LORD will whistle for the fly that is at the end of the streams of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

s mind eljönnek, és letelepszenek a mély völgyekben, a sziklák hasadékaiban, minden tövisbokron és minden legelőn.

S mind eljönnek, és letelepszenek a meredek völgyekben és sziklák hasadékaiban, minden töviseken és minden legelőkön.

And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys, and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.

ele vor veni şi se vor aşeza toate în vâlcelele pustii şi în crăpăturile stâncilor, pe toate tufişurile şi pe toate imaşurile.

And they will all come and settle in the steep ravines, and in the clefts of the rocks, and on all the thornbushes, and on all the pastures.

Azon a napon leborotválja az Úr a folyamon túl bérelt borotvával, Asszíria királya által a fejet és a lábak szőrét, sőt a szakállt is levágja.

Ama napon leberetválja az Úr a folyón túl bérlett beretvával, Assiria királya által a főt s a lábak szőrét, a mely a szakált is leveszi;

In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely, by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.

În ziua aceea, Domnul va rade, cu un brici luat cu chirie de dincolo de Râu, şi anume cu împăratul Asiriei, capul şi părul de pe picioare; ba va rade chiar şi barba.

In that day the Lord will shave with a razor that is hired beyond the River—with the king of Assyria—the head and the hair of the feet, and it will sweep away the beard also.

Azon a napon mindenki csak egy fejőstehenet és két juhot tart,

És lesz ama napon, hogy kiki egy fejőstehenet tart és két juhot,

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young cow, and two sheep;

În ziua aceea, fiecare va hrăni numai o juncă şi două oi,

In that day a man will keep alive a young cow and two sheep,

de a sok tej miatt vajat eszik: mert vajat és mézet eszik, aki csak megmaradt e földön.

És lészen, hogy a tej bősége miatt vajat eszik; mert vajat és mézet eszik, valaki csak megmaradott e földön.

And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

şi vor da un aşa belşug de lapte încât vor mânca smântână; căci cu smântână şi cu miere se vor hrăni toţi cei ce vor rămâne în ţară.

and because of the abundance of milk that they give, he will eat curds, for everyone who is left in the land will eat curds and honey.

Azon a napon minden helyet, ahol ezer szőlőtő ezer sékelt ért, tövis és gaz ver föl.

S lészen ama napon, hogy minden helyet, a hol ezer szőlőtő ezer siklust érő vala, tövis és gaz ver fel.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where there were a thousand vines at a thousand silverlings, it shall even be for briers and thorns.

În ziua aceea, orice loc care va avea o mie de butuci de viţă, preţuind o mie de sicli de argint, va fi lăsat pradă mărăcinilor şi spinilor;

In that day every place where there used to be a thousand vines, worth a thousand shekels of silver, will become briers and thorns.

Nyilakkal és íjjal jár ott az ember, mivel tövis és gaz veri föl az egész földet.

Nyilakkal és kézívvel mehet oda [az ember,] mivel tövis és gaz verte fel mind az egész földet;

With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land shall become briers and thorns.

vor intra acolo cu săgeţi şi cu arcul, căci toată ţara nu va fi decât mărăcini şi spini.

With bow and arrows a man will come there, for all the land will be briers and thorns.

Sőt a hegyekre sem mennek föl, ahol azelőtt kapáltak, mert félni fognak a tövistől és a gaztól. Mindez ökrök legelője lesz, és juhok járnak rajta.

Sőt a hegyekre, a melyeket kapával kapáltanak, sem fogsz felmenni, félvén a tövistől és gaztól; hanem barmok legelőjévé lesznek és juhok járásává.

And on all hills that shall be digged with the mattock, there shall not come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending forth of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.

Şi toţi munţii lucraţi cu cazmaua acum nu vor mai fi cutreieraţi, de frica mărăcinilor şi a spinilor; vor da drumul boilor în ei şi le vor bătători oile.

And as for all the hills that used to be hoed with a hoe, you will not come there for fear of briers and thorns, but they will become a place where cattle are let loose and where sheep tread.
