Jaj neked, pusztító, akit még nem pusztítottak el, te csalárd, akit még nem csaltak meg! Ha bevégzed a pusztítást, el fogsz pusztulni, ha készen leszel csalárdságoddal, téged fognak megcsalni.

Woe to thee that spoilest, and thou wast not spoiled; and dealest treacherously, and they dealt not treacherously with thee! when thou shalt cease to spoil, thou shalt be spoiled; and when thou shalt make an end to deal treacherously, they shall deal treacherously with thee.

Vai de tine, pustiitorule, care totuşi n-ai fost pustiit; care jefuieşti, şi n-ai fost jefuit încă! După ce vei sfârşi de pustiit, vei fi pustiit şi tu, după ce vei isprăvi de jefuit, vei fi jefuit şi tu. –

Ah, you destroyer, who yourself have not been destroyed, you traitor, whom none has betrayed! When you have ceased to destroy, you will be destroyed; and when you have finished betraying, they will betray you.

URam, könyörülj rajtunk! Benned remélünk, légy erősségünk reggelenként, és szabadítónk a szorongatás idején!

O LORD, be gracious unto us; we have waited for thee: be thou their arm every morning, our salvation also in the time of trouble.

Doamne, ai milă de noi! Noi nădăjduim în Tine. Fii ajutorul nostru în fiecare dimineaţă şi izbăvirea noastră la vreme de nevoie!

Dörgő szózatodtól elfutnak a népek, ha fölemelkedsz, elszélednek a nemzetek.

Egy zendülő szózattól elfutnak a népek; ha te felemelkedel, elszélednek a népségek.

At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.

Când răsună glasul Tău, popoarele fug; când Te scoli Tu, neamurile se împrăştie. –

At the tumultuous noise peoples flee; when you lift yourself up, nations are scattered,

Összegyűjtik zsákmányotokat, ahogy a sáska gyűjtöget, úgy ugranak rá, ahogyan a szöcske ugrik.

És elpusztítják zsákmánytokat sáska pusztításával, szöcske-ugrással ugrálnak reá.

And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

Şi prada voastră va fi strânsă cum strânge muşiţa: sar peste ea cum sar lăcustele.

and your spoil is gathered as the caterpillar gathers; as locusts leap, it is leapt upon.

Magasztos az ÚR, mert magasságban lakik, betölti a Siont törvénnyel és igazsággal.

Felmagasztaltatott az Úr, mert magasságban lakozik, betölté Siont ítélettel és igazsággal.

The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

Domnul este înălţat şi locuieşte în înălţime. El umple Sionul de nepărtinire şi dreptate.

The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with justice and righteousness,

Biztonságban lesz, gazdag az üdvösségben, bölcsességben és tudományban, az ÚR félelme lesz a kincse.

És békés lesz a te időd, gazdag boldogságban, bölcseségben és tudományban; az Úr félelme lesz kincse.

And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

Zilele tale sunt statornice, înţelepciunea şi priceperea sunt un izvor de mântuire; frica de Domnul, iată comoara Sionului.

and he will be the stability of your times, abundance of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.

Íme, vitézeik ott kint kiáltoznak, a béke követei keservesen sírnak.

Ímé, erőseik ott künn kiáltanak, a békesség követei keservesen sírnak.

Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.

Iată, vitejii strigă afară; solii păcii plâng cu amar.

Behold, their heroes cry in the streets; the envoys of peace weep bitterly.

Puszták az országutak, az utakon már nem jár senki. Megszegte a szövetséget, lenézte a városokat, nem gondolt az emberrel!

Puszták az ösvények, megszünt az úton járó; megszegte a frigyet, lenézte a városokat, nem gondolt az emberrel!

The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.

Drumurile sunt pustii; nimeni nu mai umblă pe drumuri. Asur a rupt legământul, dispreţuieşte cetăţile, nu se uită la nimeni.

The highways lie waste; the traveler ceases. Covenants are broken; cities are despised; there is no regard for man.

Sír és elhervad a föld, megszégyenült, fonnyadozik a Libánon. Olyan lett Sárón, mint a puszta, lombja vesztett a Básán és a Karmel.

Sírt, meghervadt a föld, a Libánon megszégyenült, ellankadt; olyan lett Sáron, mint egy puszta, és lombtalan Básán és Karmel.

The earth mourneth and languisheth: Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down: Sharon is like a wilderness; and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.

Ţara jeleşte şi este întristată; Libanul este plin de ruşine, tânjeşte; Saronul este ca un pustiu; Basanul şi Carmelul îşi scutură frunza.

The land mourns and languishes; Lebanon is confounded and withers away; Sharon is like a desert, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their leaves.

Now will I rise, saith the LORD; now will I be exalted; now will I lift up myself.

„Acum Mă voi scula – zice Domnul – acum Mă voi înălţa, acum Mă voi ridica.

“Now I will arise,” says the LORD, “now I will lift myself up; now I will be exalted.

Szalmát fogantok, polyvát szültök, dühötök tűz, amely megemészt benneteket.

Fogantok szalmát, szültök polyvát, dühötök tűz, megemészt titeket.

Ye shall conceive chaff, ye shall bring forth stubble: your breath, as fire, shall devour you.

Aţi zămislit fân şi naşteţi paie de mirişte; suflarea voastră de mânie împotriva Ierusalimului este un foc care pe voi înşivă vă va arde de tot.

You conceive chaff; you give birth to stubble; your breath is a fire that will consume you.

And the people shall be as the burnings of lime: as thorns cut up shall they be burned in the fire.

Popoarele vor fi ca nişte cuptoare de var, ca nişte spini tăiaţi care ard în foc.

And the peoples will be as if burned to lime, like thorns cut down, that are burned in the fire.”

Halljátok meg, ti távol lakók, mit cselekedtem, ismerjétek meg, ti közel valók, az én hatalmamat!

Halljátok meg távol valók, a mit cselekedtem, és tudjátok meg közel valók az én hatalmamat!

Hear, ye that are far off, what I have done; and, ye that are near, acknowledge my might.

Voi cei de departe, ascultaţi ce am făcut! Şi voi cei de aproape, vedeţi puterea Mea!”

Hear, you who are far off, what I have done; and you who are near, acknowledge my might.

Megrettentek a bűnösök Sionban, félelem fogja el az istenteleneket: ki lakhat közülünk megemésztő tűzzel, ki lakhat közülünk örökös hőséggel?

The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

Păcătoşii sunt îngroziţi în Sion; un tremur a apucat pe cei nelegiuiţi care zic: „Cine din noi va putea să rămână lângă un foc mistuitor? Cine din noi va putea să rămână lângă nişte flăcări veşnice?”

The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless: “Who among us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?”

Aki igazságban jár, és egyenesen beszél, aki megveti a zsarolt nyereséget, aki kezével elhárítja és nem fogadja el a megvesztegetést, aki bedugja a fülét, hogy ne halljon a vérontásról, és szemét befogja, hogy ne lásson gonoszságot:

A ki igazságban jár és egyenesen beszél, a ki megveti a zsarolt nyereséget, a ki kezeit rázván, nem vesz ajándékot, a ki fülét bedugja, hogy véres tervet ne halljon, és szemeit befogja, hogy gonoszt ne lásson:

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

Cel ce umblă în neprihănire şi vorbeşte fără vicleşug, cel ce nesocoteşte un câştig scos prin stoarcere, cel ce îşi trage mâinile înapoi ca să nu primească mită, cel ce îşi astupă urechea să n-audă cuvinte setoase de sânge şi îşi leagă ochii ca să nu vadă răul,

He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil,

He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

acela va locui în locurile înalte; stânci întărite vor fi locul lui de scăpare; i se va da pâine, şi apa nu-i va lipsi.

he will dwell on the heights; his place of defense will be the fortresses of rocks; his bread will be given him; his water will be sure.

A királyt ékességében látja a szemed, és látod a tágas országot.

A királyt ékességében látják szemeid; látnak széles országot.

Thine eyes shall see the king in his beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.

Ochii tăi vor vedea pe Împărat în strălucirea Lui, vor privi ţara în toată întinderea ei.

Your eyes will behold the king in his beauty; they will see a land that stretches afar.

Szíved a rettentő múltra gondol: hol van az összeíró, hol az adószedő, hol a tornyok összeírója?

Szíved elgondolja a [mult] félelmét: hol az író, hol a mérlegelő, hol a tornyok összeírója?

Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

Inima ta îşi va aduce aminte de groaza trecută şi va zice: „Unde este logofătul? Unde este vistiernicul? Unde este cel ce veghea asupra turnurilor?”

Your heart will muse on the terror: “Where is he who counted, where is he who weighed the tribute? Where is he who counted the towers?”

Nem látod többé az arcátlan népet, a homályos, érthetetlen ajkú népet, amelynek dadogó nyelvét nem lehet megérteni.

A gőgös népet nem látod, a homályos, érthetetlen ajkú népet, dadogó nyelve meg nem érthető.

Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

Atunci nu vei mai vedea pe poporul acela îndrăzneţ, pe poporul cu vorbirea încâlcită, de n-o puteai înţelege, cu limba gângavă, de n-o puteai pricepe.

You will see no more the insolent people, the people of an obscure speech that you cannot comprehend, stammering in a tongue that you cannot understand.

Lásd Siont, ünnepeink városát, szemed nézze Jeruzsálemet, a nyugalom hajlékát, a sátrat, amelyet nem bontanak le, melynek cövekeit soha nem húzzák ki, s kötelei sosem szakadnak el.

Lássad Siont, ünnepeinknek városát, szemeid nézzék Jeruzsálemet, mint nyugalom hajlékát, mint sátort, mely nem vándorol, melynek szegei soha ki nem húzatnak, s kötelei soha el nem szakadnak;

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

Priveşte Sionul, cetatea sărbătorilor noastre! Ochii tăi vor vedea Ierusalimul ca locuinţă liniştită, ca un cort care nu va mai fi mutat, ai cărui ţăruşi nu vor mai fi scoşi niciodată şi ale cărui funii nu vor mai fi dezlegate.

Behold Zion, the city of our appointed feasts! Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an untroubled habitation, an immovable tent, whose stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken.

Mert dicsőséges lesz ott nekünk az ÚR, folyók és széles vizek helye lesz az, amelyeken nem jár evezős hajó, és nehéz gálya sem vonul át rajta.

Sőt az Úr, a dicsőséges lesz ott nékünk folyók és széles vizek gyanánt, a melyekbe nem jő evezős hajó, és nehéz gálya rajtok át nem megy.

But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

Da, acolo cu adevărat Domnul este minunat pentru noi: El ne ţine loc de râuri, de pâraie late, unde totuşi nu pătrund corăbii cu lopeţi şi nu trece niciun vas puternic.

But there the LORD in majesty will be for us a place of broad rivers and streams, where no galley with oars can go, nor majestic ship can pass.

Mert az ÚR a mi bíránk, az ÚR a törvényadónk, az ÚR a királyunk, ő ment meg bennünket!

Mert az Úr a mi bíránk, az Úr a mi vezérünk, az Úr a mi királyunk, Ő tart meg minket!

For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Căci Domnul este Judecătorul nostru, Domnul este Legiuitorul nostru, Domnul este Împăratul nostru: El ne mântuieşte!

For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Meglazulnak köteleid, nem tartják erősen az árbocrudat, nem feszítik a vitorlát. Akkor sok rablott prédát osztanak, még a sánták is zsákmányt szereznek.

Megtágultak köteleid, árbóczfájok alapját nem tartják erősen, vitorlát nem feszítenek: akkor sok rablott prédát osztanak, [még] a sánták [is] zsákmányt vetnek.

Thy tacklings are loosed; they could not well strengthen their mast, they could not spread the sail: then is the prey of a great spoil divided; the lame take the prey.

Funiile tale s-au slăbit, aşa că nu mai pot strânge piciorul catargului şi nu mai pot întinde pânzele. Atunci se împarte prada, care-i aşa de mare, că până şi ologii iau parte la ea.

Your cords hang loose; they cannot hold the mast firm in its place or keep the sail spread out. Then prey and spoil in abundance will be divided; even the lame will take the prey.

Nem mondja egy lakos sem: „Beteg vagyok”, a nép, amely ott lakik, bűnbocsánatot nyer.

És nem mondja a lakos: beteg vagyok! a nép, a mely benne lakozik, bűnbocsánatot nyer.

And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

Niciun locuitor nu zice: „Sunt bolnav!” Poporul Ierusalimului capătă iertarea fărădelegilor lui.

And no inhabitant will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.
