Jaj a szárnysuhogás országának Kús folyóin túl,

Jaj a szárnysuhogás országának, a mely Szerecsenország folyóin túl van;

Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia:

Vai de tine, ţară în care răsună zăngănit de arme şi care eşti dincolo de râurile Etiopiei!

Ah, land of whirring wings that is beyond the rivers of Cush,

amely követeket küld a tengeren, papiruszból készült hajókon a vizek színén! Menjetek, gyors követek, a szálas és sima arcú néphez, a néphez, amelytől közel és távol rettegnek, a hatalmas és hódító néphez, amelynek földjét folyók szelik át!

A mely követeket küld a tengeren gyékényből [csinált] tutajokon, vizek színén. Menjetek el gyors hírnökök, a magas és derék néphez, a néphez, a mely rettenetes mióta van és ezután is; a hatalmas és hódító néphez, a melynek földét folyók hasítják át.

That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!

Tu, care trimiţi soli pe mare în corăbii de papură care plutesc pe luciul apelor! „Duceţi-vă, soli iuţi, la neamul acela tare şi puternic, la poporul acela înfricoşat de la începutul lui, neam puternic care zdrobeşte totul şi a cărui ţară este tăiată de râuri.”

which sends ambassadors by the sea, in vessels of papyrus on the waters! Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people feared near and far, a nation mighty and conquering, whose land the rivers divide.

Ti, a földkerekség minden lakója és a föld lakosai, figyeljetek, amikor zászló emelkedik a hegyeken, és hallgassatok, ha a kürt szól!

Föld kerekségének minden lakói és földnek lakosai meglássátok, mikor a hegyeken zászló emelkedik, és hallgassatok, ha kürt szól!

All ye inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see ye, when he lifteth up an ensign on the mountains; and when he bloweth a trumpet, hear ye.

Voi toţi, locuitori ai lumii, şi voi, locuitori ai pământului, luaţi seama când se înalţă steagul pe munţi şi ascultaţi când sună trâmbiţa!

All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look! When a trumpet is blown, hear!

Mert azt mondta nekem az ÚR: Oly nyugodtan szemlélődöm sátramból, mint a hőség verőfényes nappal és mint a harmatfelhő az aratás hevében.

Mert ezt mondá az Úr nékem: Nyugodtan nézem sátoromból verőfényes melegnél, harmatozó felhőnél aratás hévségében.

For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

Căci aşa mi-a vorbit Domnul: „Eu privesc liniştit din locuinţa Mea, pe căldura arzătoare a luminii soarelui şi pe aburul de rouă, în vipia secerişului.”

For thus the LORD said to me: “I will quietly look from my dwelling like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”

Mert szüret előtt, ha a virágzás véget ér, és a virág érett fürtté lesz, metszőkéssel lemetszik a vesszőket, eltávolítják és lemetszik hajtásait.

Mert aratás előtt, ha a virágzás véget ér, és a virág érő fürtté lészen, levágja a vesszőket metszőkésekkel, és a kacsokat eltávolítja és lemetszi.

For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

És mind ottmaradnak a hegyek ragadozó madarainak és a föld állatainak: rajtuk nyaralnak a ragadozó madarak, és rajtuk telel a föld minden állata.

Mind ott hagyatnak a hegyek madarainak és a föld állatainak, és a madarak rajtok nyaralnak, és a föld minden állatai rajtok telelnek.

They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them.

Şi asirienii vor fi lăsaţi astfel pradă păsărilor răpitoare din munţi şi fiarelor pământului; păsările de pradă vor petrece vara pe trupurile lor moarte, şi fiarele pământului vor ierna pe ele.

They shall all of them be left to the birds of prey of the mountains and to the beasts of the earth. And the birds of prey will summer on them, and all the beasts of the earth will winter on them.

Abban az időben ajándékot visz a Seregek URának a szálas és sima arcú nép, a nép, amelytől közel és távol rettegnek, a hatalmas és hódító nép, amelynek földjét folyók szelik át, a Seregek URa nevének helyére, a Sion hegyére.

Abban az időben ajándékot viszen a seregek Urának a magas és derék nép; a nép, a mely rettenetes, mióta van és ezután is, a hatalmas és hódító nép, a melynek földét folyók hasítják át; a seregek Ura nevének helyére, Sion hegyére.

In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.

În vremea aceea, se vor aduce daruri de mâncare Domnului oştirilor de poporul cel tare şi puternic, de poporul cel înfricoşat de la începutul lui, neam puternic care zdrobeşte totul şi a cărui ţară este tăiată de râuri: vor fi aduse acolo unde locuieşte Numele Domnului oştirilor, pe muntele Sionului.

At that time tribute will be brought to the LORD of hosts from a people tall and smooth, from a people feared near and far, a nation mighty and conquering, whose land the rivers divide, to Mount Zion, the place of the name of the LORD of hosts.
