Jaj az efraimi részegek kevély koronájának, hervadó viráguk dicső szépségének, amelyet a bortól legyőzöttek viselnek, és amely a termékeny völgy fejénél van!

Jaj Efraim részegei kevély koronájának és dicsőséges ékessége hervadó virágának, mely a bortól megverettek kövér völgye fején van.

Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

Vai de cununa îngâmfată a beţivilor lui Efraim, de floarea veştejită, care este strălucirea podoabei sale pe culmea văii mănoase a celor ce se îmbată!

Ah, the proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim, and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley of those overcome with wine!

Íme, egy erős és hatalmas férfi jön az Úrtól, olyan, mint a jégverés, mint a veszedelmes szélvész, mint sodró vízözön áradása, és kezével földhöz veri azt.

Ímé, egy erős és hatalmas [jő] az Úrtól, mint jégfergeteg, veszedelmes szélvész, mint özönlő erős vizeknek áradása: földhöz veri kezével azt!

Behold, the Lord hath a mighty and strong one, which as a tempest of hail and a destroying storm, as a flood of mighty waters overflowing, shall cast down to the earth with the hand.

Iată că vine de la Domnul un om tare şi puternic, ca o furtună de piatră, ca o vijelie nimicitoare, ca o rupere de nori cu mari şuvoaie de ape, care o doboară cu putere la pământ.

Behold, the Lord has one who is mighty and strong; like a storm of hail, a destroying tempest, like a storm of mighty, overflowing waters, he casts down to the earth with his hand.

Lábbal tapossák majd az efraimi részegek kevély koronáját,

Lábbal tapodtatik meg Efraim részegeinek kevély koronája,

The crown of pride, the drunkards of Ephraim, shall be trodden under feet:

Va fi călcată în picioare cununa îngâmfată a beţivilor lui Efraim;

The proud crown of the drunkards of Ephraim will be trodden underfoot;

és úgy jár szép ékességének hervadó virága, amely termékeny völgyének fejénél van, mint a korai füge gyümölcsszedés előtt. Mihelyt valaki meglátja, alig veszi kezébe, már le is nyeli.

És úgy jár dicsőséges ékességének hervadó virága, a mely a kövér völgynek fején van, mint a korai füge a gyümölcsszedés előtt, a melyet mihelyt valaki meglát, alig veszi kezébe, lenyeli.

And the glorious beauty, which is on the head of the fat valley, shall be a fading flower, and as the hasty fruit before the summer; which when he that looketh upon it seeth, while it is yet in his hand he eateth it up.

şi floarea veştejită, care este strălucirea podoabei ei pe culmea văii mănoase, va fi ca o smochină timpurie care se vede înainte de culesul roadelor şi pe care, abia o iei în mână, şi îndată o şi înghiţi.

and the fading flower of its glorious beauty, which is on the head of the rich valley, will be like a first-ripe fig before the summer: when someone sees it, he swallows it as soon as it is in his hand.

Azon a napon a Seregek URa lesz ékes koronája és dicsőséges koszorúja népe maradékának.

Ama napon a seregek Ura lesz ékes koronája és dicsőséges koszorúja népe maradékának;

In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of glory, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people,

În ziua aceea, Domnul oştirilor va fi o cunună strălucitoare şi o podoabă măreaţă pentru rămăşiţa poporului

In that day the LORD of hosts will be a crown of glory, and a diadem of beauty, to the remnant of his people,

Ő lesz az ítélet lelke abban, aki az ítélőszékben ül, és erőssége lesz azoknak, akik visszaverik az ellenséget a kapunál.

És ítéletnek lelke annak, a ki az ítélőszékben ül, és erősség azoknak, a kik visszanyomják a kapuig az ellenséget.

And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment, and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate.

sau un duh de dreptate pentru cel ce şade pe scaunul de judecată şi o putere pentru cei ce dau pe vrăjmaş înapoi până la porţile lui.

and a spirit of justice to him who sits in judgment, and strength to those who turn back the battle at the gate.

De ezek is tántorognak a bor miatt, és szédelegnek a részegítő italtól. Pap és próféta tántorog a részegítő italtól, megzavarodtak a bortól, szédelegnek a részegítő ital miatt, tántorognak a látomáskor, és meginognak az ítélethozatalban.

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

These also reel with wine and stagger with strong drink; the priest and the prophet reel with strong drink, they are swallowed by wine, they stagger with strong drink, they reel in vision, they stumble in giving judgment.

Minden asztal tele van undok okádással, úgy, hogy nincs tiszta hely.

Mert minden asztal telve undok okádással, úgy hogy hely sincs a nélkül.

For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean.

Toate mesele sunt pline de vărsături murdare şi nu mai este niciun loc curat. –

For all tables are full of filthy vomit, with no space left.

Kit tanít ő tudományra? A tanítást kivel értetné meg? A tejtől elválasztottakkal és a csecstől elszakasztottakkal?

Kit tanít tudományra? A tanítást kivel érteti meg? A tejtől elszakasztottakkal-é és a csecstől elválasztottakkal-é?

Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

Ei zic: „Pe cine vrea el să înveţe înţelepciunea? Cui vrea să dea învăţături? Unor copii înţărcaţi de curând, luaţi de la ţâţă?

“To whom will he teach knowledge, and to whom will he explain the message? Those who are weaned from the milk, those taken from the breast?

Mert dadogó ajakkal és idegen nyelven szól e néphez,

Ezért dadogó ajakkal és idegen nyelven fog szólni e néphez,

For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

Ei bine! Prin nişte oameni cu buze bâlbâitoare şi cu vorbirea străină va vorbi poporului acestuia, Domnul.

For by people of strange lips and with a foreign tongue the LORD will speak to this people,

ő, aki ezt mondta nekik: Ez a nyugalom helye, nyugodjon meg a megfáradott. Ez a pihenés! De nem akarták meghallani!

Ő, a ki ezt mondá nékik: Ez a nyugalom, hogy nyugtassátok meg a megfáradottat, és ez a pihenés! És nem akarták hallani!

To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

El îi zicea: „Iată odihna; lăsaţi pe cel ostenit să se odihnească; iată locul de odihnă!” Dar ei n-au vrut să asculte,

to whom he has said, “This is rest; give rest to the weary; and this is repose”; yet they would not hear.

Ezért lett nekik az ÚR beszéde parancsra új parancs, parancsra új parancs, szabályra új szabály, szabályra új szabály; itt egy kicsi, ott egy kicsi. Hogy járjanak, és hanyatt essenek, és összetörjék magukat, és csapdába essenek, hogy megfogják őket!

És lőn nékik az Úr beszéde parancsra új parancs, parancsra új parancs, szabályra új szabály, szabályra új szabály; itt egy kicsi, ott egy kicsi; hogy járjanak és hátra essenek és összetöressenek és tőrbe jussanak és megfogassanak!

But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

şi pentru ei cuvântul Domnului va fi: „Învăţătură peste învăţătură, învăţătură peste învăţătură, poruncă peste poruncă, poruncă peste poruncă, puţin aici, puţin acolo”, ca, mergând, să cadă pe spate şi să se zdrobească, să dea în laţ, şi să fie prinşi.

And the word of the LORD will be to them precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little, that they may go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

Ezért halljátok az ÚR beszédét, csúfolódó férfiak, akik uralkodtok e népen, amely Jeruzsálemben lakik.

Ezért halljátok az Úrnak beszédét, csúfoló férfiak, a kik uralkodtok e népen, a mely Jeruzsálemben lakik.

Wherefore hear the word of the LORD, ye scornful men, that rule this people which is in Jerusalem.

De aceea, ascultaţi cuvântul Domnului, batjocoritorilor care stăpâniţi peste poporul acesta din Ierusalim!

Therefore hear the word of the LORD, you scoffers, who rule this people in Jerusalem!

Mert így szóltok: Szerződést kötöttünk a halállal, a sírral meg szövetségre léptünk. A sodró áradat, ha jön, nem ér el minket, mert a hazugságot választottuk oltalmunkul, és a csalárdság mögé rejtőztünk el.

Mert így szóltok: Frigyet kötöttünk a halállal, a sírral meg szövetséget csináltunk; az ostorozó áradat ha jő, nem ér el minket; mert a hazugságot választók oltalmunkul, és csalásba rejtezénk el!

Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:

Pentru că ziceţi: „Noi am făcut un legământ cu moartea, am făcut o învoială cu Locuinţa morţilor: când va trece urgia apelor năvălitoare, nu ne va atinge, căci avem ca loc de scăpare neadevărul, şi ca adăpost minciuna!”,

Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, and with Sheol we have an agreement, when the overwhelming whip passes through it will not come to us, for we have made lies our refuge, and in falsehood we have taken shelter”;

Ezért így szól az én Istenem, az ÚR: Íme, Sionban egy követ tettem le, egy próbakövet, drága szegletkövet, erős alappal. Aki hisz, az nem fut el!

Ezért így szól az Úr Isten: Ímé, Sionban egy követ tettem le, egy próbakövet, drága szegletkövet, erős alappal, a ki [benne] hisz, az nem fut!

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.

de aceea, aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeu: „Iată, pun ca temelie în Sion o piatră, o piatră încercată, o piatră de preţ, piatră din capul unghiului clădirii, temelie puternică; cel ce o va lua ca sprijin nu se va grăbi să fugă.

therefore thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am the one who has laid as a foundation in Zion, a stone, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone, of a sure foundation: ‘Whoever believes will not be in haste.’

A jogosságot mérőkötéllé tettem és az igazságot szintezővé. Jégeső söpri el a hazugság oltalmát, és víz önti el a rejtekhelyét.

És a jogosságot mérőkötéllé tevém, és az igazságot színlelővé, és jég söpri el a hazugság oltalmát, és vizek ragadják el a rejteket.

Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.

Voi face din neprihănire o lege, şi din dreptate, o cumpănă; şi grindina va surpa locul de scăpare al neadevărului, şi apele vor îneca adăpostul minciunii.

And I will make justice the line, and righteousness the plumb line; and hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and waters will overwhelm the shelter.”

Semmivé lesz a halállal kötött szövetségetek, és nem áll meg a sírral való egyezségetek. Ha jön az ostorozó áradat, elsodor titeket.

És eltöröltetik a halállal való frigyetek, és a sírral való szövetségtek meg nem áll; az ostorozó áradat ha eljő, eltapod titeket,

And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

Aşa că legământul vostru cu moartea va fi nimicit, şi învoiala voastră cu Locuinţa morţilor nu va dăinui. Când va trece urgia apelor năvălitoare, veţi fi striviţi de ea.

Then your covenant with death will be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol will not stand; when the overwhelming scourge passes through, you will be beaten down by it.

Ahányszor csak eljön, elragad titeket, mert eljön minden reggel meg nappal és éjszaka is. Borzalom megérteni ezt a kijelentést.

S a hányszor eljő, elragad titeket; mert minden reggel eljő, nappal és éjszaka; borzalom megértetni e tanítást;

From the time that it goeth forth it shall take you: for morning by morning shall it pass over, by day and by night: and it shall be a vexation only to understand the report.

Ori de câte ori va trece, vă va apuca; căci va trece în toate dimineţile, zi şi noapte, şi numai vuietul ei vă va îngrozi.”

As often as it passes through it will take you; for morning by morning it will pass through, by day and by night; and it will be sheer terror to understand the message.

Mert rövid lesz az ágy ahhoz, hogy kinyújtózhassatok, és szűk lesz a takaró a betakarózáshoz.

Mert rövid lesz az ágy, hogy benne kinyujtózhassék, és a takaró szűk lesz az elrejtőzéskor.

For the bed is shorter than that a man can stretch himself on it: and the covering narrower than that he can wrap himself in it.

Patul va fi prea scurt ca să te întinzi în el, şi învelitoarea prea îngustă ca să te înveleşti cu ea.

For the bed is too short to stretch oneself on, and the covering too narrow to wrap oneself in.

Mert fölkel az ÚR, mint a Perácim hegyén, és megharagszik, mint Gibeón völgyében, hogy véghezvigye munkáját, amely szokatlan lesz, és megcselekedje dolgát, amely hallatlan lesz.

Mert mint a Perázim hegyén, felkel az Úr, és mint Gibeon völgyében, megharagszik, hogy megtegye munkáját, a mely szokatlan lesz, és hogy cselekedje dolgát a mely hallatlan lesz.

For the LORD shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, his strange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act.

Căci Domnul Se va scula, ca la muntele Peraţim, şi Se va mânia, ca în valea Gabaonului, ca să-Şi facă lucrarea, lucrarea Lui ciudată, ca să-Şi împlinească lucrul, lucrul Lui nemaiauzit.

For the LORD will rise up as on Mount Perazim; as in the Valley of Gibeon he will be roused; to do his deed—strange is his deed! and to work his work—alien is his work!

Most pedig ne csúfolódjatok, hogy köteleitek szorosabbak ne legyenek! Mert hallottam az Úrtól, a Seregek URától, hogy elhatározta az egész ország elpusztítását.

És most ne csúfolódjatok, hogy köteleitek szorosabbak ne legyenek; mert elvégzett pusztítást hallottam az Úrtól, a seregek Urától, az egész föld felett.

Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.

Acum, nu batjocoriţi, ca nu cumva să vi se strângă mai tare legăturile; căci am aflat de la Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor că nimicirea întregii ţări este hotărâtă.

Now therefore do not scoff, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord GOD of hosts against the whole land.

Vegyétek fületekbe, és halljátok szavam, figyeljetek, és hallgassátok beszédemet!

Vegyétek füleitekbe és halljátok szavam', figyeljetek és hallgassátok beszédem'!

Give ye ear, and hear my voice; hearken, and hear my speech.

Plecaţi-vă urechea şi ascultaţi glasul meu! Fiţi cu luare aminte şi ascultaţi cuvântul meu!

Give ear, and hear my voice; give attention, and hear my speech.

Vajon mindig szánt a szántóvető, ha vetni akar, és csak barázdálja meg boronálja a földjét?

Hát mindig szánt-é a szántó, hogy vessen, és barázdálja és boronálja-é földét?

Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

Cel ce ară pentru semănătură ară oare necontenit? Necontenit îşi brăzdează şi îşi grăpează el pământul?

Does he who plows for sowing plow continually? Does he continually open and harrow his ground?

Nem úgy van-e, hogy amikor elegyengette felszínét, fekete köményt hint, illatos köményt szór, vagy búzát és árpát vet sorban a kijelölt földbe és tönkölyt a szélére?

Nemde, mikor elegyengette színét, hint fekete köményt, és szór illatos köményt, s vet sorban búzát és árpát a kijelölt földbe, és tönkölyt a szélére?

When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place?

Oare după ce a netezit faţa pământului, nu aruncă el măzăriche şi seamănă chimen? Nu pune el grâul în rânduri, orzul într-un loc deosebit, şi alacul pe margini?

When he has leveled its surface, does he not scatter dill, sow cumin, and put in wheat in rows and barley in its proper place, and emmer as the border?

Így szoktatta rendre és tanította őt Istene.

Így szoktatá őt rendre és tanítá Istene.

For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him.

Dumnezeul lui l-a învăţat să facă aşa, El i-a dat aceste învăţături.

For he is rightly instructed; his God teaches him.

Mert nem cséplőszánnal csépelik a fekete köményt, és nem szekér kerekével tapossák a köményt. A fekete köményt bottal verik ki és az illatos köményt pálcával.

Mert nem cséplő szánkával csépelik a fekete köményt, és nem szekér kerekével tapodják az illatos köményt; a fekete köményt bottal verik ki, és az illatost pálczával;

For the fitches are not threshed with a threshing instrument, neither is a cart wheel turned about upon the cummin; but the fitches are beaten out with a staff, and the cummin with a rod.

Măzărichea nu se treieră cu leasa, şi roata carului nu trece peste chimen; ci măzărichea se bate cu băţul, şi chimenul, cu nuiaua.

Dill is not threshed with a threshing sledge, nor is a cart wheel rolled over cumin, but dill is beaten out with a stick, and cumin with a rod.

A búzát megtörik, de nem csépelik vég nélkül. Bár ráhajtják a cséplőkereket és lovaikat, de nem törik össze.

A búzát csépelik; de nem örökre csépli azt, és bár hajtja rajta szekere kerekét és lovait, de szét nem töreti.

Bread corn is bruised; because he will not ever be threshing it, nor break it with the wheel of his cart, nor bruise it with his horsemen.

Grâul se bate, dar nu se bate necontenit; împingi peste el roata carului şi caii, dar nu-l sfărâmi.

Does one crush grain for bread? No, he does not thresh it forever; when he drives his cart wheel over it with his horses, he does not crush it.

Ez is a Seregek URától származik: csodás a tanácsa, és nagyságos a bölcsessége!

Ez is a seregek Urától származott: Ő ád csodás tanácsot és nagyságos bölcseséget!

This also cometh forth from the LORD of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.

Şi lucrul acesta vine de la Domnul oştirilor; minunat este planul Lui şi mare este înţelepciunea Lui.

This also comes from the LORD of hosts; he is wonderful in counsel and excellent in wisdom.
