URam, te vagy Istenem, magasztallak, dicsérem nevedet, mert csodát cselekedtél, rég elgondolt tanácsod hűség és igazság.

Uram, te vagy Istenem, magasztallak, dícsérem nevedet! Mivel csodát cselekvél, örök tanácsaid hűség és igazság.

O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Doamne, Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu; pe Tine Te voi înălţa! Laud Numele Tău, căci ai făcut lucruri minunate; planurile Tale făcute mai dinainte s-au împlinit cu credincioşie.

O LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.

Mert kőrakássá tetted a várost, rommá a megerősített várost, az idegenek palotáját. Nem lesz többé város, soha nem épül föl.

Mert a városból kőrakást csináltál, az erős városból romot, az idegenek palotáját [olyanná tetted, hogy] nincs [többé] város; soha örökké meg nem épül.

For thou hast made of a city an heap; of a defenced city a ruin: a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built.

Căci ai prefăcut cetatea (Babilon) într-un morman de pietre, cetăţuia cea tare, într-o grămadă de dărâmături; cetatea cea mare a străinilor este nimicită, şi niciodată nu va mai fi zidită.

For you have made the city a heap, the fortified city a ruin; the foreigners’ palace is a city no more; it will never be rebuilt.

Ezért áldanak téged az erős népek, és félnek téged a könyörtelen népek városai.

Ezért dicsőítnek téged erős népek, erőszakos pogányok városai félnek téged!

Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee, the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee.

De aceea Te slăvesc popoarele puternice, şi cetăţile neamurilor puternice se tem de Tine.

Therefore strong peoples will glorify you; cities of ruthless nations will fear you.

Mert erőssége vagy a gyöngének, erőssége szorongattatásában a szegénynek. Oltalom a szélvész ellen, árnyék a hőség ellen, mert az erőszakosok haragja olyan, mint a kőfalrontó szélvész,

Mert erőssége voltál a gyöngének, erőssége a szegénynek szorongásában; a szélvész ellen oltalom, árnyék a hévség ellen, mikor az erőszakosok haragja olyan volt, mint kőfalrontó szélvész.

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Căci Tu ai fost un loc de scăpare pentru cel slab, un loc de scăpare pentru cel nenorocit în necaz, un adăpost împotriva furtunii, un umbrar împotriva căldurii; căci suflarea asupritorilor este ca vijelia care izbeşte în zid.

For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a shelter from the storm and a shade from the heat; for the breath of the ruthless is like a storm against a wall,

mint a hőség a száraz földön. Megalázod az idegenek háborgását, s mint a felleg árnyéka a hőséget, úgy elnémítod a szívtelenek énekét.

Mint hévséget száraz földön, megalázod az idegeneknek háborgását, mint a hévség sűrű felleg miatt, megszünt a pogányoknak éneke.

Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of a cloud: the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low.

Cum domoleşti căldura într-un pământ arzător, aşa ai domolit zarva străinilor; cum este înăbuşită căldura de umbra unui nor, aşa au fost înăbuşite cântările de biruinţă ale asupritorilor. –

like heat in a dry place. You subdue the noise of the foreigners; as heat by the shade of a cloud, so the song of the ruthless is put down.

A Seregek URa minden népnek lakomát szerez e hegyen kövér eledelekből, lakomát erős borból, velős, kövér ételekből, tiszta erős borból.

És szerez a seregek Ura minden népeknek e hegyen lakodalmat kövér eledelekből, lakodalmat erős borból; velős, kövér eledelekből, megtisztult erős borból;

And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.

Domnul oştirilor pregăteşte tuturor popoarelor, pe muntele acesta, un ospăţ de bucate gustoase, un ospăţ de vinuri vechi, de bucate miezoase, pline de măduvă, de vinuri vechi şi limpezite.

On this mountain the LORD of hosts will make for all peoples a feast of rich food, a feast of well-aged wine, of rich food full of marrow, of aged wine well refined.

E hegyen eltávolítja a leplet, amely minden népet beborított, a takarót, amely befödött minden nemzetet;

S elveszi e hegyen a fátyolt, mely beboríta minden népeket, és a takarót, mely befödött vala minden népségeket;

And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations.

Şi, pe muntele acesta, înlătură marama care acoperă toate popoarele şi învelitoarea care înfăşoară toate neamurile;

And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.

elnyeli a halált örökre. Az ÚR, az én Istenem minden arcról letörli a könnyet, és eltávolítja népe gyalázatát az egész földről, mert maga az ÚR szólt.

Elveszti a halált örökre, és letörli az Úr Isten a könyhullatást minden orczáról: és népe gyalázatát eltávolítja az egész földről; mert az Úr szólott.

He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

nimiceşte moartea pe vecie: Domnul Dumnezeu şterge lacrimile de pe toate feţele şi îndepărtează de pe tot pământul ocara poporului Său; da, Domnul a vorbit.

He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for the LORD has spoken.

Így szólnak azon a napon: Íme, a mi Istenünk, akiben reménykedtünk, hogy megtart minket. Ő az ÚR, akiben reménykedtünk, örüljünk és örvendezzünk szabadításának!

És szólnak ama napon: Ímé Istenünk, a kit mi vártunk és a ki megtart minket; ez az Úr, a kit mi vártunk, örüljünk és örvendezzünk szabadításában!

And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

În ziua aceea vor zice: „Iată, acesta este Dumnezeul nostru în care aveam încredere că ne va mântui. Acesta este Domnul în care ne încredeam; acum, să ne înveselim şi să ne bucurăm de mântuirea Lui!”

It will be said on that day, “Behold, this is our God; we have waited for him, that he might save us. This is the LORD; we have waited for him; let us be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”

Mert az ÚR keze nyugszik e hegyen, Móábot pedig eltapossák saját földjén, ahogyan a szalmát a trágyalébe tapossák.

Mert az Úr keze nyugszik e hegyen, és eltapostatik Moáb az ő földében, mint eltapostatik a szalma a ganaj levében.

For in this mountain shall the hand of the LORD rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trodden down for the dunghill.

Căci mâna Domnului se odihneşte pe muntele acesta; dar Moabul este călcat în picioare pe loc, cum este călcat în picioare paiul în bălegar.

For the hand of the LORD will rest on this mountain, and Moab shall be trampled down in his place, as straw is trampled down in a dunghill.

Széttárja ott a kezét, ahogy széttárja az úszó, hogy ússzék, de az ÚR megalázza kevélységét és keze csalárdságát.

És kiterjeszti kezeit abban, mint kiterjeszti az úszó, hogy ússzék; de az Úr megalázza kevélységét és kezei csalárdságát;

And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

În mijlocul acestei băltoace, el îşi întinde mâinile, cum le întinde înotătorul ca să înoate; dar Domnul îi doboară mândria şi face de nimica dibăcia mâinilor lui.

And he will spread out his hands in the midst of it as a swimmer spreads his hands out to swim, but the LORD will lay low his pompous pride together with the skill of his hands.

Magas falaid erősségét lerontja, a földre dönti, és porig alázza.

És magas falaid erősségét lerontja, megalázza, a földre, porba dobja.

And the fortress of the high fort of thy walls shall he bring down, lay low, and bring to the ground, even to the dust.

El surpă, prăbuşeşte întăriturile înalte ale zidurilor tale, le prăbuşeşte la pământ, în ţărână.

And the high fortifications of his walls he will bring down, lay low, and cast to the ground, to the dust.
