Azokban a napokban halálos betegségbe esett Ezékiás, és eljött hozzá Ézsaiás, Ámóc fia, a próféta, és azt mondta neki: Ezt mondja az ÚR: „Rendezd el házad ügyeit, mert meghalsz, nem gyógyulsz meg!”

Azon napokban halálos betegségbe esék Ezékiás, és eljött hozzá Ésaiás Ámós fia, a próféta, és mondá néki: Ezt mondja az Úr: rendeld el házadat, mert meghalsz és meg nem gyógyulsz!

In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

În vremea aceea, Ezechia a fost bolnav pe moarte. Prorocul Isaia, fiul lui Amoţ, a venit la el şi i-a zis: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Pune-ţi în rânduială casa, căci vei muri, şi nu vei mai trăi.”

In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, “Thus says the LORD: Set your house in order, for you shall die, you shall not recover.”

Erre Ezékiás arccal a falnak fordult, és könyörgött az ÚRhoz.

És Ezékiás arczczal a falnak fordulván, könyörge az Úrnak,

Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed unto the LORD,

Ezechia s-a întors cu faţa la perete şi a făcut Domnului următoarea rugăciune:

Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,

Ezt mondta: Ó, URam, emlékezzél meg arról, hogy én előtted jártam igazságban és teljes szívvel, és azt tettem, ami kedves neked! És keservesen sírt Ezékiás.

És monda: Oh Uram, emlékezzél meg arról, hogy én előtted jártam, igazságban és egész szívvel, és hogy a mi jó előtted, azt műveltem! és sírt Ezékiás keservesen.

And said, Remember now, O LORD, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

„Doamne, adu-Ţi aminte că am umblat înaintea Ta cu credincioşie şi inimă curată şi am făcut ce este bine înaintea Ta!” Şi Ezechia a vărsat multe lacrimi.

and said, “Please, O LORD, remember how I have walked before you in faithfulness and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in your sight.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.

Ekkor így szólt az ÚR Ézsaiáshoz:

És lőn az Úr beszéde Ésaiáshoz, mondván:

Then came the word of the LORD to Isaiah, saying,

Atunci cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Isaia astfel:

Menj el, és mondd ezt Ezékiásnak: „Így szól az ÚR, Dávidnak, atyádnak Istene: Meghallgattam imádságodat, láttam könnyeidet. Íme, még tizenöt esztendővel megtoldom életedet.

Menj el, és mondd Ezékiásnak: így szól az Úr, Dávidnak, atyádnak Istene: Hallottam imádságodat, láttam könyeidet, ímé, még napjaidhoz tizenöt esztendőt adok.

Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years.

„Du-te şi spune lui Ezechia: „Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul tatălui tău David: „Am auzit rugăciunea ta şi am văzut lacrimile tale. Iată că voi mai adăuga încă cincisprezece ani la zilele vieţii tale.

“Go and say to Hezekiah, Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will add fifteen years to your life.

Megszabadítalak téged és e várost az asszíriai király kezéből, megoltamazom ezt a várost!

És az assiriai király kezéből megszabadítlak téged és e várost; megoltalmazom e várost!

And I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria: and I will defend this city.

Te voi izbăvi, pe tine şi cetatea aceasta, din mâna împăratului Asiriei; voi ocroti cetatea aceasta.”

I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria, and will defend this city.

Ez lesz a jel számodra az ÚRtól, hogy teljesíti az ÚR, amit mondott:

Ez legyen jel néked az Úrtól, hogy teljesíti azt az Úr, a mit mondott:

And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken;

Şi iată semnul din partea Domnului, după care vei cunoaşte că Domnul va împlini cuvântul pe care l-a rostit:

“This shall be the sign to you from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he has promised:

Íme, tíz fokkal visszatérítem az árnyékot Aház napóráján azokon a fokokon, amelyeken a nap már áthaladt.” És visszatért az árnyék tíz fokkal azokon a fokokon, amelyeken már áthaladt.

Ímé, visszatérítem az árnyékot, azokon a fokokon, a melyeken az Akház napóráján a nap már átvonult, tíz fokkal; és visszatért az árnyék tíz fokkal azokon a fokokon, a melyeken már átvonult.

Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

voi întoarce înapoi cu zece trepte umbra treptelor cu care s-a coborât soarele pe cadranul lui Ahaz.” Şi soarele s-a dat înapoi cu zece trepte de pe treptele pe care se coborâse.

Behold, I will make the shadow cast by the declining sun on the dial of Ahaz turn back ten steps.” So the sun turned back on the dial the ten steps by which it had declined.

Azt gondoltam: Hát életem közepén kell alászállanom a Seol kapuihoz, megfosztva többi évemtől?

Én azt mondám: hát napjaimnak nyugalmában kell alászállanom a sír kapuihoz, megfosztva többi éveimtől!

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

„Ziceam: „În cei mai buni ani ai vieţii mele trebuie să mă duc la porţile Locuinţei morţilor! Sunt pedepsit cu pierderea celorlalţi ani ai mei care-mi mai rămân!”

I said, In the middle of my days I must depart; I am consigned to the gates of Sheol for the rest of my years.

Azt gondoltam: nem látom már az URat, az URat az élők földjén, nem látok többé embert a világ lakói közül.

Mondám: nem látom az Urat, az Urat az élők földében, nem szemlélek embert többé a nyugalom lakói közt.

I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.

Ziceam: „Nu voi mai vedea pe Domnul, pe Domnul, în pământul celor vii; nu voi mai vedea pe niciun om în Locuinţa morţilor!

I said, I shall not see the LORD, the LORD in the land of the living; I shall look on man no more among the inhabitants of the world.

Porsátramat lebontják, és elveszik tőlem, mint a pásztor sátrát. Fölgöngyölöm életemet, mint a takács, hiszen levágott a fonalról engem. Reggeltől estig végzel velem!

[Por]sátorom lerontatik, és elmegy tőlem, mint a pásztor hajléka! Összehajtám, mint a takács, életemet; hiszen levágott a fonalról engem; reggeltől estig végzesz velem!

Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

Locuinţa mea este luată şi mutată de la mine, ca o colibă de păstori. Îmi simt firul vieţii tăiat ca de un ţesător care m-ar rupe din ţesătura lui. Până deseară îmi vei pune capăt!

My dwelling is plucked up and removed from me like a shepherd’s tent; like a weaver I have rolled up my life; he cuts me off from the loom; from day to night you bring me to an end;

Reggelig nyugton vártam, de úgy összetörte minden csontomat, mint az oroszlán. Reggeltől estig végez velem!

Reggelig nyugton vártam; mint oroszlán, úgy törte össze minden csontjaimat; reggeltől estig végzesz velem!

I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

Am strigat până dimineaţa; ca un leu, îmi zdrobise toate oasele! Până deseară îmi vei pune capăt!

I calmed myself until morning; like a lion he breaks all my bones; from day to night you bring me to an end.

Csipogtam, mint a fecske meg a daru, nyögtem, mint a galamb, szemem a magasba meredt. URam, le vagyok sújtva, szabadíts meg!

Mint a fecske és a daru, sipogtam, nyögtem mint a galamb, szemeim a magasságba meredtek: Uram! erőszak rajtam, szabadíts meg!

Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

Ciripeam ca o rândunică, croncăneam ca un cocor şi gemeam ca o porumbiţă. Ochii-mi priveau topiţi spre cer: „Doamne, sunt în necaz, ajută-mă!”

Like a swallow or a crane I chirp; I moan like a dove. My eyes are weary with looking upward. O Lord, I am oppressed; be my pledge of safety!

Mit mondjak? Mert szólt hozzám, és meg is tette, amit mondott! Csendesen élem le éveimet lelkem keserűsége miatt!

Mit mondjak? hogy szólott nékem és Ő azt meg is cselekedé! Nyugton élem le éveimet lelkem keserűsége után!

What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

Ce să mai spun? El mi-a răspuns şi m-a ascultat. Acum voi umbla smerit până la capătul anilor mei, după ce am fost întristat astfel.

What shall I say? For he has spoken to me, and he himself has done it. I walk slowly all my years because of the bitterness of my soul.

Uram! Azáltal él minden, és csak abban van lelkem élete, hogy te meggyógyítasz és éltetsz engem!

Oh Uram! ezek által él [minden!] és ezekben van teljességgel lelkem élete. Te meggyógyítasz és éltetsz engemet!

O LORD, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

Doamne, prin îndurarea Ta se bucură omul de viaţă, prin ea mai am şi eu suflare, căci Tu mă faci sănătos şi îmi dai iarăşi viaţa.

O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these is the life of my spirit. Oh restore me to health and make me live!

Íme, áldásul volt nekem a nagy keserűség, és te szereteteddel kivontad lelkemet a pusztulás verméből, és hátad mögé vetetted minden bűnömet!

Ímé, áldásul volt nékem a nagy keserűség, és Te szeretettel kivontad lelkemet a pusztulásnak verméből, mert hátad mögé vetetted minden bűneimet!

Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

Iată, chiar suferinţele mele erau spre mântuirea mea; Tu ai găsit plăcere să-mi scoţi sufletul din groapa putrezirii. Căci ai aruncat înapoia Ta toate păcatele mele!

Behold, it was for my welfare that I had great bitterness; but in love you have delivered my life from the pit of destruction, for you have cast all my sins behind your back.

Mert nem a Seolban magasztalnak téged, és nem a halottak dicsőítenek, nem a sírverembe szállók reménykednek hűségedben!

Mert nem a sír dicsőít Téged, és nem a halál magasztal Téged, hűségedre nem a sírverembe szállók várnak!

For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

Căci nu Locuinţa morţilor Te laudă, nu moartea Te măreşte, şi cei ce s-au coborât în groapă nu mai nădăjduiesc în credincioşia Ta.

For Sheol does not thank you; death does not praise you; those who go down to the pit do not hope for your faithfulness.

Aki él, csak aki él, az dicsőít téged, mint ma én! Az apák hirdetik fiaiknak hűségedet.

Ki él, ki él, csak az dicsőít Téged, mint ma én! Az atya a fiaknak hirdeti hűségedet!

The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

Ci cel viu, da, cel viu Te laudă, ca mine astăzi. Tatăl face cunoscut copiilor săi credincioşia Ta.

The living, the living, he thanks you, as I do this day; the father makes known to the children your faithfulness.

Megszabadított engem az ÚR, ezért énekeljünk lantpengetéssel éltünk minden napján az ÚR házában!

Az Úr szabadított meg engemet; azért énekeljük énekimet éltünk minden napjaiban az Úrnak házában!

The LORD was ready to save me: therefore we will sing my songs to the stringed instruments all the days of our life in the house of the LORD.

Domnul m-a mântuit! De aceea, în toate zilele vieţii noastre vom suna din corzile instrumentelor noastre în Casa Domnului.”

The LORD will save me, and we will play my music on stringed instruments all the days of our lives, at the house of the LORD.

Akkor azt mondta Ézsaiás, hogy vegyenek egy fügekalácsot, és dörzsöljék rá a fekélyre, hogy meggyógyuljon.

For Isaiah had said, Let them take a lump of figs, and lay it for a plaister upon the boil, and he shall recover.

Isaia zisese: „Să se aducă o turtă de smochine şi s-o întindă peste bubă; şi Ezechia va trăi.”

Now Isaiah had said, “Let them take a cake of figs and apply it to the boil, that he may recover.”

Ekkor megkérdezte Ezékiás: Mi lesz a jele, hogy fölmegyek még az ÚR házába?

És mondá Ezékiás: Mi lesz a jele, hogy fölmegyek az Úr házába?

Hezekiah also had said, What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?

Şi Ezechia zisese: „După ce semn voi cunoaşte că mă voi sui la Casa Domnului?”

Hezekiah also had said, “What is the sign that I shall go up to the house of the LORD?”
