Az igaz elvész, és senki sem veszi ezt szívére, elvétetnek a kegyesek, és senki sem gondol bele, hogy a veszedelem elől ragadtatik el az igaz.

Az igaz elvész és nem veszi eszébe senki, és az irgalmasságtevők elragadtatnak és senki nem gondolja fel, hogy a veszedelem elől ragadtatik el az igaz;

The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

Piere cel neprihănit, şi nimănui nu-i pasă; se duc oamenii de bine, şi nimeni nu ia aminte că din pricina răutăţii este luat cel neprihănit.

The righteous man perishes, and no one lays it to heart; devout men are taken away, while no one understands. For the righteous man is taken away from calamity;

Békességre jut, az ágyában nyugszik, aki egyenes úton járt.

Bemegy békességbe, nyugosznak ágyaikon, a kik egyenes útaikon járának.

He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

El intră în pace în groapa lui: cel ce umblă pe drumul cel drept se odihneşte în culcuşul lui.

De ti gyertek ide, szemfényvesztőnek fiai, ti házasságtörők és paráznák ivadékai!

És ti közelgjetek ide, szemfényvesztő fiai, paráznának magva, a ki paráználkodol.

But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

„Dar, voi, apropiaţi-vă încoace, fii ai vrăjitoarei, sămânţa preacurvarului şi a curvei!

But you, draw near, sons of the sorceress, offspring of the adulterer and the loose woman.

Ki fölött gúnyolódtok? Ki ellen tátjátok föl szátokat, és öltitek ki nyelveteket? Vajon nem ti vagytok a bűn gyermekei, a hazugság magva,

Ki felett örvendeztek? Ki ellen tátjátok fel szátokat és öltitek ki nyelveteket? nem ti vagytok-é a bűn gyermekei, a hazugságnak magva?

Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.

De cine vă bateţi voi joc? Împotriva cui vă deschideţi voi gura larg şi scoateţi limba? Nu sunteţi voi nişte copii ai păcatului, o sămânţă a minciunii

Whom are you mocking? Against whom do you open your mouth wide and stick out your tongue? Are you not children of transgression, the offspring of deceit,

akiket szenvedély fűt a tölgyfáknál és minden buja fa alatt, akik megölitek gyermekeiteket a völgyekben és a sziklák hasadékainál?

A kik lángoltok a bálványokért minden zöld fa alatt, megöltök gyermekeket a völgyekben, a hegyek hasadékai alatt.

Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?

care se încălzeşte pentru idoli sub orice copac verde, care înjunghie pe copii în văi sub crăpăturile stâncilor?

you who burn with lust among the oaks, under every green tree, who slaughter your children in the valleys, under the clefts of the rocks?

A patak sima köveiben van az örökséged, az a te részed. Nekik öntesz ki italáldozatot, és viszel ételáldozatot, és én még jó néven vegyem ezeket?

A folyónak sima köveiben van örökséged; azok, azok a te részed, töltöttél nékik italáldozatot is, vivél ételáldozatot és én jó néven vegyem-é ezeket?

Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?

În pietrele lustruite din pâraie este partea ta de moştenire, ele sunt soarta ta; lor le torni şi jertfe de băutură şi le aduci daruri de mâncare: Pot Eu să fiu nesimţitor la lucrul acesta?

Among the smooth stones of the valley is your portion; they, they, are your lot; to them you have poured out a drink offering, you have brought a grain offering. Shall I relent for these things?

Magasba emelkedő hegyre helyezted ágyadat, oda is fölmész áldozatot bemutatni.

Magas és felemelkedett hegyen helyezted ágyadat, fel is menél oda áldozni áldozatot.

Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.

Pe un munte înalt şi ridicat îţi faci culcuşul; tot acolo te sui să aduci jertfe.

On a high and lofty mountain you have set your bed, and there you went up to offer sacrifice.

Az ajtó és az ajtófélfa mögé tetted bálványjeleidet, eltávolodtál tőlem, és kitakartad ágyadat, aztán belefeküdtél és kiszélesítetted. Szövetséget kötöttél velük, akiknek ágyát szeretted, amerre csak láttad.

Az ajtó és ajtófél mögé tetted bálványjeleidet, és tőlem [eltávozván,] fölfedted ágyadat, fölmentél [rá], és megszélesítéd, és szövetséget szerzél velök, szeretted ágyukat, a merre csak láttad.

Behind the doors also and the posts hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.

Îţi pui pomenirea în dosul uşii şi uşorilor; căci, departe de Mine, îţi ridici învelitoarea şi te sui în pat, îţi lărgeşti culcuşul şi faci legământ cu ei, îţi place legătura cu ei şi iei seama la semnul lor.

Behind the door and the doorpost you have set up your memorial; for, deserting me, you have uncovered your bed, you have gone up to it, you have made it wide; and you have made a covenant for yourself with them, you have loved their bed, you have looked on nakedness.

A Molokhoz mentél olajoddal és bőséges keneteiddel. Messze földre küldted követeidet, mélyre le, a Seolig.

És menél a királyhoz olajjal, és megsokasítád keneteidet, és elküldéd követeidet messze földre, és megaláztad magadat a sírig.

And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.

Te duci la împărat cu untdelemn, îţi înmulţeşti miresmele, îţi trimiţi solii departe şi te pleci până la Locuinţa morţilor.

You journeyed to the king with oil and multiplied your perfumes; you sent your envoys far off, and sent down even to Sheol.

Nagy utadon elfáradtál, mégsem mondtad: Mindez hasztalan! Újra erőre kaptál, és nem lankadtál el.

Nagy útadon megfáradál, [és még] sem mondád: mind hasztalan! erőd megújulását érezéd, így nem levél beteg!

Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way; yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.

Oboseşti mergând, şi nu zici: „Încetez!” Tot mai găseşti putere în mâna ta; de aceea nu te doboară întristarea.

You were wearied with the length of your way, but you did not say, “It is hopeless”; you found new life for your strength, and so you were not faint.

Kitől féltél és rettegtél, hogy hazudnod kellett, miért nem emlékeztél meg rólam, és miért nem gondoltál rám a szívedben? Vagy azért nem félsz engem, mert már régóta hallgatok?

Kitől féltél és rettegtél, hogy hazudtál és rólam meg nem emlékezél, szívedre sem vevéd? vagy azért nem félsz engem, hogy hallgatok már régtől fogva?

And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not?

Şi de cine te sfiai, de cine te temeai, de nu Mi-ai fost credincioasă, de nu ţi-ai adus aminte şi nu ţi-a păsat de Mine? Şi Eu tac, şi încă de multă vreme: de aceea nu te temi tu de Mine.

Whom did you dread and fear, so that you lied, and did not remember me, did not lay it to heart? Have I not held my peace, even for a long time, and you do not fear me?

Én jelentem ki igazságodat, de amit teszel, nem használ neked.

Én jelentem meg igazságodat, és csinálmányaid nem használnak néked.

I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.

Dar acum îţi voi da pe faţă neprihănirea, şi faptele tale nu-ţi vor folosi!

I will declare your righteousness and your deeds, but they will not profit you.

Ha kiáltasz: szabadítson meg téged bálványaid sokasága! A szél mindet elviszi, egy szellő is fölkapja. De aki hozzám menekül, az örökli a földet, és birtokba veszi szent hegyemet.

Ha kiáltasz: szabadítson meg téged [bálvány]id raja; mindnyájokat szél viszi el, lehelet kapja fel, és a ki bennem bízik, örökségül bírja a földet, és örökli szent hegyemet.

When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;

Şi atunci să strigi, şi să te izbăvească mulţimea idolilor tăi! Căci îi va lua vântul pe toţi, o suflare îi va ridica. Dar cel ce se încrede în Mine va moşteni ţara şi va stăpâni muntele Meu cel sfânt.” –

When you cry out, let your collection of idols deliver you! The wind will carry them all off, a breath will take them away. But he who takes refuge in me shall possess the land and shall inherit my holy mountain.

Egy hang ezt mondja: Töltsétek, töltsétek föl, készítsétek az utat, népem útjából vegyetek el minden buktatót!

És szól [egy szó:] Töltsétek, töltsétek, készítsétek az útat, vegyetek el [minden] botránkozást népem útáról.

And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of my people.

Şi El zice: „Croiţi, croiţi drum, pregătiţi calea, luaţi orice piedică din calea poporului Meu!”

And it shall be said, “Build up, build up, prepare the way, remove every obstruction from my people’s way.”

Mert így szól a magasságos és felséges, aki örökké él, és akinek szent a neve: Magasságban és szentségben lakom, de a megtörttel és alázatos szívűvel is, hogy megelevenítsem az alázatosok lelkét, és megelevenítsem a megtörtek szívét.

Mert így szól a magasságos és felséges, a ki örökké lakozik, és a kinek neve szent: Magasságban és szentségben lakom, de a megrontottal és alázatos szívűvel is, hogy megelevenítsem az alázatosok lelkét, és megelevenítsem a megtörtek szívét.

For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Cel Preaînalt, a cărui locuinţă este veşnică şi al cărui Nume este sfânt: „Eu locuiesc în locuri înalte şi în sfinţenie; dar sunt cu omul zdrobit şi smerit, ca să înviorez duhurile smerite şi să îmbărbătez inimile zdrobite.

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Mert nem örökké perelek, és nem haragszom mindvégig, hiszen elepedne előttem a lélek és az élők, akiket alkottam.

Mert nem örökké perlek, és nem mindenha haragszom, mert a lélek előttem megepedne, és a leheletek, a kiket én teremtettem.

For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.

Nu vreau să cert în veci, nici să ţin o mânie necurmată, când înaintea Mea cad în leşin duhurile şi sufletele pe care le-am făcut.

For I will not contend forever, nor will I always be angry; for the spirit would grow faint before me, and the breath of life that I made.

Mert a telhetetlenség vétkéért haragudtam meg, és megvertem őt, elrejtőztem és megharagudtam. Ő pedig elfordult tőlem, és a saját szíve útján járt.

Mert a telhetetlenségnek vétkéért haragudtam meg, és megvertem őt, elrejtém [magamat] és megharagudtam; és ő elfordulva, szíve útjában járt.

For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him: I hid me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly in the way of his heart.

Din pricina păcatului lăcomiei lui, M-am mâniat şi l-am lovit; M-am ascuns, în supărarea Mea, şi cel răzvrătit a urmat şi mai mult pe căile inimii lui.

Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry, I struck him; I hid my face and was angry, but he went on backsliding in the way of his own heart.

Láttam útjait, és meggyógyítom őt. Vezetem, és vigasztalást nyújtok neki és gyászolóinak.

Útait láttam, és meggyógyítom őt; vezetem őt, és vígasztalást nyujtok néki és gyászolóinak,

I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.

I-am văzut căile, şi totuşi îl voi tămădui; îl voi călăuzi şi-l voi mângâia, pe el şi pe cei ce plâng împreună cu el.

I have seen his ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,

Megteremtem ajkán a hála gyümölcsét. Békesség, békesség a távol- és közellévőknek! Így szól az ÚR: Meggyógyítom őt!

Megteremtem ajkaikon a [hálának] gyümölcsét. Békesség, békesség a messze és közel valóknak, így szól az Úr; én meggyógyítom őt!

I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD; and I will heal him.

Voi pune lauda pe buze: „Pace, pace celui de departe şi celui de aproape! – zice Domnul – Da, Eu îl voi tămădui!

creating the fruit of the lips. Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,” says the LORD, “and I will heal him.

De a hitetlenek olyanok, mint a háborgó tenger, amely nem bír megnyugodni, és amelynek hullámai iszapot és sarat hánynak ki.

És a hitetlenek olyanok, mint egy háborgó tenger, a mely nem nyughatik, és a melynek vize iszapot és sárt hány ki.

But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.

Dar cei răi sunt ca marea înfuriată, care nu se poate linişti şi ale cărei ape aruncă afară noroi şi mâl.”

But the wicked are like the tossing sea; for it cannot be quiet, and its waters toss up mire and dirt.

Nincs békesség az istenteleneknek, mondja az én Istenem.

Nincs békesség, szól Istenem, a hitetleneknek!

There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Cei răi n-au pace, zice Dumnezeul meu. –

There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked.”
