Így szól az ÚR: Az ég az én trónusom, és a föld a lábam zsámolya. Milyen házat akartok építeni nekem, és milyen helyet nyugvóhelyemül?

Így szól az Úr: Az egek nékem ülőszékem, és a föld lábaimnak zsámolya: minő ház az, a melyet nékem építeni akartok, és minő az én nyugalmamnak helye?

Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Cerul este scaunul Meu de domnie, şi pământul este aşternutul picioarelor Mele! Ce Casă aţi putea voi să-Mi zidiţi şi ce loc Mi-aţi putea voi da ca locuinţă?

Thus says the LORD: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool; what is the house that you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?

Hiszen az én kezem alkotta mindezeket, így álltak elő mind – mondja az ÚR. Mert én arra tekintek, aki szegény és megtört lelkű, és rettegi beszédemet.

Hiszen mindezeket kezem csinálta, így álltak elő mindezek; így szól az Úr. Hanem erre tekintek én, a ki szegény és megtörött lelkű, és a ki beszédemet rettegi.

For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Toate aceste lucruri doar mâna Mea le-a făcut şi toate şi-au căpătat astfel fiinţa – zice Domnul. – Iată spre cine Îmi voi îndrepta privirile: spre cel ce suferă şi are duhul mâhnit, spre cel ce se teme de cuvântul Meu.

All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be, declares the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word.

Aki bikát vág le: embert is öl. Aki juhval áldozik: a kutyának is nyakát szegi. Aki ételáldozattal jön: disznóvért hoz elém. Aki tömjént gyújt emlékeztetésül: az bálványt is imád. Amint ők így választották meg útjaikat, és lelkük utálatosságaikban gyönyörködött,

A ki bikát öl, embert üt agyon; a ki juhval áldozik, az ebet öl; a ki ételáldozattal jő, disznóvért hoz elém; a ki tömjént gyújt, bálványt imád! Miként ők így választák útaikat, és lelkök útálatosságaikban gyönyörködött:

He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Cine înjunghie un bou ca jertfă nu este mai bun decât cel ce ucide un om; cine jertfeşte un miel este ca cel ce ar rupe gâtul unui câine; cine aduce un dar de mâncare este ca cel ce ar vărsa sânge de porc; cine arde tămâie este ca cel ce s-ar închina la idoli; toţi aceştia îşi aleg căile lor, şi sufletul lor găseşte plăcere în urâciunile lor.

“He who slaughters an ox is like one who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, like one who breaks a dog’s neck; he who presents a grain offering, like one who offers pig’s blood; he who makes a memorial offering of frankincense, like one who blesses an idol. These have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations;

úgy választom meg én is megcsúfolásuk módját, és rájuk hozom, amitől rettegnek. Mert hívtam őket, és senki sem felelt, szóltam, és nem hallgattak rám, gonoszt cselekedtek a szemem előtt, és amit nem szerettem, azt választották.

Akképen választom én is az ő megcsúfolásukat, és rájok hozom, a mitől félnek; mivel hívtam és senki nem felelt, szóltam és nem hallották, és a gonoszt cselekedték szemeim előtt, s a mit nem szerettem, azt választák.

I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.

De aceea, şi Eu voi alege ce este spre nefericirea lor şi voi aduce peste ei lucrurile de care se tem, căci, când am chemat Eu, n-au răspuns, şi, când am vorbit Eu, n-au ascultat, ci au făcut ce este rău înaintea Mea şi au ales ce nu-Mi place!”

I also will choose harsh treatment for them and bring their fears upon them, because when I called, no one answered, when I spoke, they did not listen; but they did what was evil in my eyes and chose that in which I did not delight.”

Halljátok az ÚR beszédét, akik megremegtek beszédére! Így szólnak testvéreitek, akik gyűlölnek titeket, és eltaszítanak benneteket nevemért: Jelenjék meg az ÚR dicsősége, hogy lássuk örömötöket! De megszégyenülnek majd!

Halljátok az Úrnak beszédét, a kik rettegtek az ő beszédére: így szólnak testvéreitek, a kik titeket gyűlölnek, nevemért eltaszítanak: Jelenjék meg az Úrnak dicsősége, hogy lássuk örömötöket; de ők megszégyenülnek.

Hear the word of the LORD, ye that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.

Ascultaţi cuvântul Domnului, voi care vă temeţi de cuvântul Lui: „Iată ce zic fraţii voştri care vă urăsc şi vă izgonesc din pricina Numelui Meu: „Să-Şi arate Domnul slava, ca să vă vedem bucuria!” – Dar ei vor rămâne de ruşine!”

Hear the word of the LORD, you who tremble at his word: “Your brothers who hate you and cast you out for my name’s sake have said, ‘Let the LORD be glorified, that we may see your joy’; but it is they who shall be put to shame.

Halld! Zúgás hallatszik a városból, a templom felől! Az ÚR hangja az, aki megfizet ellenségeinek.

Halld! zúgás a város felől, hah! a templom felől, hah! az Úr, a ki megfizet ellenségeinek.

A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that rendereth recompence to his enemies.

Un glas răsunător iese din cetate! Un glas iese din Templu! Este glasul Domnului, care dă vrăjmaşilor lui plata cuvenită!

“The sound of an uproar from the city! A sound from the temple! The sound of the LORD, rendering recompense to his enemies!

Mielőtt vajúdott volna, már szült, mielőtt rátört a fájdalom, fiút hozott világra.

Mielőtt vajudott volna, szült, mielőtt fájdalom jött rá, fiút hozott világra.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child.

„Înainte ca să simtă dureri, a născut şi înainte ca să-i vină suferinţele, a dat naştere unui fiu.

“Before she was in labor she gave birth; before her pain came upon her she delivered a son.

Ki hallott ilyet, mint ez, ki látott ehhez hasonlót? Vajon egy ország egy nap alatt jön világra, és egy nép csak úgy egyszerre születik? Hiszen alig vajúdott Sion, és már meg is szülte fiait!

Ki hallott olyat, mint ez, ki látott hasonló dolgokat? Hát egy ország egy nap jön-é világra, és egy nép egyszerre születik-é? mert vajudott és meg is szűlé Sion az ő fiait!

Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Cine a auzit vreodată aşa ceva? Cine a văzut vreodată aşa ceva? Se poate naşte oare o ţară într-o zi? Se naşte un neam aşa dintr-odată? Abia au apucat-o muncile, şi fiica Sionului şi-a şi născut fiii!

Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Shall a land be born in one day? Shall a nation be brought forth in one moment? For as soon as Zion was in labor she brought forth her children.

Hát én csak megindítsam és ne vezessem le a szülést? – szól az ÚR. Vagy én, aki a szülést levezetem, bezárjam-e a méhet? – így szól Istened.

Hát én csak megindítsam és ne vigyem véghez a szűlést? szól az Úr, vagy én, a ki szűletek, bezárjam-é [a méhet?] így szól Istened.

Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? saith the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? saith thy God.

Aş putea să deschid pântecele mamei şi să nu las să nască? – zice Domnul. – Eu, care fac să nască, aş putea să împiedic oare naşterea? – zice Dumnezeul tău.

Shall I bring to the point of birth and not cause to bring forth?” says the LORD; “shall I, who cause to bring forth, shut the womb?” says your God.

Örüljetek Jeruzsálemmel, és örvendjetek vele mind, akik szeretitek! Örvendezéssel vigadozzatok vele mindnyájan, akik gyászoltátok!

Örüljetek Jeruzsálemmel, és örvendjetek fölötte mind, a kik őt szeretitek; vígadjatok vele örvendezéssel mindnyájan, a kik gyászoltatok miatta!

Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her:

Bucuraţi-vă împreună cu Ierusalimul şi înveseliţi-vă cu el, toţi cei ce-l iubiţi; împărţiţi şi bucuria cu el, acum, toţi cei ce l-aţi plâns,

“Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her in joy, all you who mourn over her;

Mert megelégedésig szophattok vigasztalásának emlőjéből, gyönyörködéssel szívhatjátok keblének bőségét.

Hogy szopjatok és megelégedjetek megvígasztaltatásának emlőjén, hogy igyatok és örvendjetek dicsőségének bőségén.

That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.

ca să fiţi săturaţi bând laptele mângâierilor lui, ca să vă desfătaţi în totul de plinătatea slavei lui.”

that you may nurse and be satisfied from her consoling breast; that you may drink deeply with delight from her glorious abundance.”

Mert így szól az ÚR: Íme, kiárasztom rá a békességet, mint folyóvizet, és a népek dicsőségét, mint kiáradt patakot. Táplálni fognak titeket, ölben hordoznak, és térdükön dajkálgatnak benneteket.

Mivel így szól az Úr: Ímé kiterjesztem rá a békességet, mint egy folyóvizet, és mint kiáradott patakot a népek dicsőségét, hogy szopjátok; ölben fognak hordozni, és térdeiken czirógatnak titeket.

For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.

Căci aşa vorbeşte Domnul: „Iată, voi îndrepta spre el pacea ca un râu, şi slava neamurilor, ca un pârâu ieşit din matcă, şi veţi fi alăptaţi, veţi fi purtaţi în braţe şi dezmierdaţi pe genunchi.

For thus says the LORD: “Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the nations like an overflowing stream; and you shall nurse, you shall be carried upon her hip, and bounced upon her knees.

Ahogy az anya vigasztalja fiát, úgy vigasztallak én titeket, és Jeruzsálemben kaptok vigasztalást!

Mint férfit, a kit anyja vígasztal, akként vígasztallak titeket én, és Jeruzsálemben vesztek vígasztalást!

As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Cum mângâie pe cineva mama sa, aşa vă voi mângâia Eu; da, veţi fi mângâiaţi în Ierusalim!”

As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.

Meglátjátok, és örül szívetek, csontjaitok virágoznak, mint a zöld fű. Megismerik szolgái az ÚR kezét és az ellenségeivel szembeni haragját.

Meglátjátok és örül szívetek, csontjaitok, mint a zöld fű, virágoznak, és megösmerik az Úr kezét az Ő szolgáin, és haragját ellenségei fölött.

And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

Şi când veţi vedea aceste lucruri, inima vi se va bucura, şi oasele voastre vor prinde putere ca iarba. – Domnul îşi va arăta astfel puterea faţă de robii Săi, dar va face pe vrăjmaşii Lui să-I simtă mânia.

You shall see, and your heart shall rejoice; your bones shall flourish like the grass; and the hand of the LORD shall be known to his servants, and he shall show his indignation against his enemies.

Mert íme, eljön az ÚR tűzben, és szekerei olyanok, mint a forgószél, hogy megfizessen lángoló haragjával, és megfenyítsen égő lángjával.

Mert ímé, az Úr eljő tűzben, s mint forgószél az ő szekerei, hogy megfizesse búsulásában az Ő haragját, és megfeddését sebesen égő lánggal.

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Căci iată, Domnul vine într-un foc, şi carele Lui sunt ca un vârtej; Îşi preface mânia într-un jăratic, şi ameninţările, în flăcări de foc.

“For behold, the LORD will come in fire, and his chariots like the whirlwind, to render his anger in fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Mert tűzzel és kardjával ítél meg az ÚR minden testet; és sokan lesznek, akiket megöl az ÚR.

Mert az Úr tűzzel ítél és kardjával minden testet, és sokan lesznek az Úrtól megöltek.

For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Căci cu foc Îşi aduce Domnul la îndeplinire judecăţile, şi cu sabia Lui pedepseşte pe oricine; şi cei ucişi de Domnul vor fi mulţi la număr.

For by fire will the LORD enter into judgment, and by his sword, with all flesh; and those slain by the LORD shall be many.

Mind elpusztulnak, akik azért szentelik és tisztítják meg magukat, hogy a kertekben áldozzanak, követve a középen állót; akik disznóhúst, undokságot és egeret esznek – mondja az ÚR.

A kik magokat megszentelik és mossák a [bálvány] kertekért, egy [pap] megett, a középen; a kik disznóhúst esznek és férget és egeret, együtt pusztulnak el mind, mondja az Úr.

They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD.

Cei ce se sfinţesc şi se curăţă în grădini, mergând unul câte unul în mijlocul celor ce mănâncă şi carne de porc, şi şoareci, şi alte lucruri urâcioase, toţi aceia vor pieri – zice Domnul.

“Those who sanctify and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following one in the midst, eating pig’s flesh and the abomination and mice, shall come to an end together, declares the LORD.

Ismerem cselekedeteiteket és gondolataitokat. Eljött az idő, hogy összegyűjtsek minden népet és nyelvet, hogy eljöjjenek, és meglássák dicsőségemet.

És én cselekedeteiteket és gondolataitokat [megbüntetem!] Eljő [az idő], hogy minden népeket és nyelveket egybegyűjtsek, hogy eljövén, meglássák az én dicsőségemet.

For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.

Eu pedepsesc faptele şi gândurile lor! Dar vine vremea când voi strânge toate neamurile şi toate limbile; ele vor veni şi vor vedea slava Mea.

“For I know their works and their thoughts, and the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and shall see my glory,

Csodás jelet teszek közöttük, és a megmenekülteket elküldöm a népekhez: Tarsísba, Púlba és Lúdba az íjászokhoz, Tubalhoz és Jávánhoz, a messzi szigetekre, amelyek még nem hallottak rólam, és nem látták dicsőségemet, hogy hirdessék dicsőségemet a népek között.

És teszek köztök jelt, és küldök közülök megszabadultakat a népekhez, Tarsisba, Pulba és Ludba, az íjjászokhoz, Tubálhoz és Jávánhoz; a messze szigetekbe, a melyek rólam nem hallottak, és nem látták dicsőségemet, és hirdetik dicsőségemet a népek között.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Şi voi pune un semn între ele şi voi trimite la neamuri pe cei ce vor scăpa din Israel, la Tarsis, la Pul şi la Lud, care trag cu arcul, la Tubal şi la Iavan, în ostroavele depărtate care n-au auzit vorbindu-se niciodată de Mine şi n-au văzut slava Mea; ei vor vesti slava Mea printre neamuri.

and I will set a sign among them. And from them I will send survivors to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, who draw the bow, to Tubal and Javan, to the coastlands far away, that have not heard my fame or seen my glory. And they shall declare my glory among the nations.

Elhozzák minden testvéreteket az összes nép közül ajándékul az ÚRnak: lovakon, szekereken, hintókon, öszvéreken és tevéken hozzák majd őket szent hegyemre, Jeruzsálembe – így szól az ÚR –, úgy, ahogy Izráel fiai hozzák az ajándékot tiszta edényben az ÚR házába.

És elhozzák minden testvéreiteket minden népek közül ajándékul az Úrnak, lovakon, szekereken, hintókban, öszvéreken és tevéken szentségemnek hegyére Jeruzsálembe, így szól az Úr, a mint hozzák Izráelnek fiai az ajándékot tiszta edényben az Úrnak házába.

And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

Vor aduce pe toţi fraţii voştri din mijlocul tuturor neamurilor, ca dar Domnului, pe cai, în care şi pe tărgi, pe catâri şi pe dromaderi, la muntele Meu cel sfânt, la Ierusalim – zice Domnul – cum îşi aduc copiii lui Israel darurile de mâncare într-un vas curat la Casa Domnului.

And they shall bring all your brothers from all the nations as an offering to the LORD, on horses and in chariots and in litters and on mules and on dromedaries, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, just as the Israelites bring their grain offering in a clean vessel to the house of the LORD.

És közülük is választok papokat és lévitákat – mondja az ÚR.

És ezek közül is választok a papok közé, a Léviták közé, így szól az Úr.

And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

Şi voi lua şi dintre ei pe unii ca preoţi şi leviţi – zice Domnul.

And some of them also I will take for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.

Mert ahogyan fennmarad előttem az új ég és az új föld, amelyet alkotok – így szól az ÚR –, úgy maradnak fenn utódaitok és nevetek is.

Mert mint az új egek és az új föld, a melyeket én teremtek, megállnak én előttem, szól az Úr, azonképen megáll a ti magvatok és nevetek;

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.

Căci, după cum cerurile cele noi şi pământul cel nou, pe care le voi face, vor dăinui înaintea Mea – zice Domnul – aşa va dăinui şi sămânţa voastră şi numele vostru.

“For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your offspring and your name remain.

Akkor majd hónapról hónapra és szombatról szombatra eljön minden ember, és leborul előttem – mondja az ÚR.

És lesz, hogy hónapról-hónapra és szombatról-szombatra eljő minden test engem imádni, szól az Úr.

And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

În fiecare lună nouă şi în fiecare Sabat, va veni orice făptură să se închine înaintea Mea – zice Domnul.

From new moon to new moon, and from Sabbath to Sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, declares the LORD.

És amikor kimennek, látni fogják azoknak holttestét, akik csalárdul elhagytak engem, mert férgük nem pusztul el, és tüzük nem alszik ki, és minden ember iszonyodni fog tőlük.

És kimenvén, látni fogják azoknak holttesteit, a kik ellenem vétkeztek, mert az ő férgök meg nem hal és tüzök el nem aluszik, és minden test előtt borzadásul lesznek.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Şi, când vor ieşi, vor vedea trupurile moarte ale oamenilor care s-au răzvrătit împotriva Mea; căci viermele lor nu va muri, şi focul lor nu se va stinge; şi vor fi o pricină de groază pentru orice făptură.”

“And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”
