Ne bízzatok hát az emberben, akinek csak egy lehelet van az orrában, mert ugyan mire becsülhető ő?

Oh szünjetek meg hát az emberben [bízni], a kinek [egy] lehellet van orrában, mert hát ugyan mire becsülhető ő?

For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water.

Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor va lua din Ierusalim şi din Iuda orice sprijin şi orice mijloc de trai, orice izvor de pâine şi orice izvor de apă,

For behold, the Lord GOD of hosts is taking away from Jerusalem and from Judah support and supply, all support of bread, and all support of water;

Mert íme, az Úr, a Seregek URa megvonja Jeruzsálem és Júda ellátását és támaszát, a támaszt, amelyet a kenyér és a víz jelent,

Mert ímé az Úr, a seregeknek Ura elveszi Jeruzsálemből és Júdából a támaszt és a táplálót, a kenyérnek minden erejét és a víznek minden erejét;

The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

pe viteaz şi pe omul de război, pe judecător şi pe proroc, pe ghicitor şi pe bătrân,

the mighty man and the soldier, the judge and the prophet, the diviner and the elder,

a hőst és a hadakozót, a bírót és a prófétát, a jóst és a vént,

Az erőst és hadakozót, birót és prófétát, jóst és öreget;

The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.

pe căpetenia peste cincizeci şi pe dregător, pe sfetnic, pe meşteşugarul ales şi pe vrăjitorul iscusit.

the captain of fifty and the man of rank, the counselor and the skillful magician and the expert in charms.

az ötven ember hadnagyát, a tiszteletre méltó embert, a tanácsost, az ügyes mestert és a varázsláshoz értőt.

Az ötvenedes hadnagyot, a tisztes embert, a tanácsost, az ügyes mestert és a varázsláshoz értőt;

And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

„Le voi da băieţi drept căpetenii – zice Domnul – şi nişte copii vor stăpâni peste ei.

And I will make boys their princes, and infants shall rule over them.

Gyermekeket adok nekik fejedelemül, és sihederek uralkodnak rajtuk.

És adok nékik gyerkőczöket fejedelmekül, és gyermekek uralkodnak rajtok.

And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.

Oamenii se vor asupri unii pe alţii, unul va apăsa pe celălalt, fiecare pe aproapele lui, tânărul va lovi pe cel bătrân, şi omul de nimic, pe cel pus în cinste.”

And the people will oppress one another, every one his fellow and every one his neighbor; the youth will be insolent to the elder, and the despised to the honorable.

A nép egymást nyomorgatja, egyik ember a másik ellen támad, mindegyik a társa ellen: a gyermek az öreg ellen, a becstelen a tisztességes ellen.

És nyomorba jut a nép; egyik a másik ellen, ki-ki az ő társa ellen támad, a gyermek az öreg ellen, becstelen a tisztes ellen;

When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, saying, Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand:

Vor merge până acolo încât unul va apuca pe fratele său, în casa părintească, şi-i va zice: „Tu ai o haină, fii căpetenia noastră! Ia dărâmăturile acestea sub mâna ta!”

For a man will take hold of his brother in the house of his father, saying: “You have a cloak; you shall be our leader, and this heap of ruins shall be under your rule”;

Ha valaki megragadja atyja nemzetségéből való rokonát, és azt mondja neki: „Neked még van ruhád, légy fejedelmünk, és légy úrrá e romláson”,

És ha valaki megragadja atyja nemzetségéből való rokonát, [mondván:] Néked ruhád van, légy fejedelmünk és e romlás kezed alatt legyen:

In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

Dar în aceeaşi zi el va răspunde: „Nu pot să fiu doctor, căci în casa mea nu este nici pâine, nici haină: nu mă puneţi căpetenie peste popor.”

in that day he will speak out, saying: “I will not be a healer; in my house there is neither bread nor cloak; you shall not make me leader of the people.”

ez azon a napon így fog fölkiáltani: „Nem leszek sebkötöző, nincsen házamban sem kenyér, sem ruha, ne tegyetek engem a nép fejedelmévé!”

Ez ama napon így fog felkiáltani: Nem leszek sebkötöző, házamban is nincsen kenyér és nincs ruha; ne tegyetek engem e nép fejedelmévé!

For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

Se clatină Ierusalimul, se prăbuşeşte Iuda, pentru că vorbele şi faptele lor sunt îndreptate împotriva Domnului, înfruntând privirile Lui măreţe.

For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their speech and their deeds are against the LORD, defying his glorious presence.

Mert megbotlik Jeruzsálem, és elesik Júda, mivel nyelvük és cselekedeteik az ÚR ellen vannak, és dicsőséges tekintetét ingerlik.

Mert megromlott Jeruzsálem, és Júda elesett, mert nyelvök és cselekedeteik az Úr ellen vannak, hogy az Ő dicsőséges szemeit ingereljék.

The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves.

Înfăţişarea feţei lor mărturiseşte împotriva lor, şi, ca sodomiţii, îşi dau pe faţă nelegiuirea, fără s-o ascundă. Vai de sufletul lor, căci îşi pregătesc rele!

For the look on their faces bears witness against them; they proclaim their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! For they have brought evil on themselves.

Arckifejezésük tesz bizonyságot ellenük, bűneikkel Sodoma módjára kérkednek, nemhogy eltitkolnák. Jaj a lelküknek, mert maguknak szereztek bajt.

Arczuk tekintete tesz ellenök bizonyságot, bűneikkel Sodoma módjára kérkednek, nemhogy eltitkolnák; jaj lelköknek! mert magok szereztek magoknak gonoszt.

Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

„Bine de cel neprihănit! Lui îi va merge bine, căci se va bucura de rodul faptelor lui.

Tell the righteous that it shall be well with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their deeds.

Mondjátok az igaznak, hogy jó dolga lesz, mert cselekedetei gyümölcsével élhet.

Mondjátok az igaznak, hogy jól lészen [dolga], mert cselekedeteik gyümölcsével élnek.

Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

Vai de cel rău! Lui îi va merge rău, căci va culege rodul faptelor lui.

Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have dealt out shall be done to him.

Jaj a gonosznak, rossz dolga lesz, mert kezének cselekedete szerint fizetnek neki!

Jaj a gonosznak, gonoszul lesz [dolga,] mert kezeinek cselekedete szerint fizetnek néki.

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

Poporul meu este asuprit de nişte copii şi-l stăpânesc nişte femei! Poporul meu, cârmuitorii tăi te duc în rătăcire şi pustiesc calea pe care umbli!”

My people—infants are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your guides mislead you and they have swallowed up the course of your paths.

Ó, népem! Nyomorgatóid gyermekek, és asszonyok uralkodnak rajtad. Népem! Vezéreid hitetők, és rossz útra viszik lépteidet.

Népem nyomorgatói gyermekek, és asszonyok uralkodnak rajta; népem! a te vezéreid hitetők, és ösvényidnek útját elrejtik előled.

The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

Domnul Se înfăţişează la judecată, stă în picioare ca să judece popoarele.

The LORD has taken his place to contend; he stands to judge peoples.

Előállt perelni az ÚR, és itt áll, hogy ítélje a népeket.

Előálla perelni az Úr, és itt áll ítélni népeket.

The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Domnul intră la judecată cu bătrânii poporului Său şi cu mai marii lui: „Voi aţi mâncat via! Prada luată de la sărac este în casele voastre!

The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders and princes of his people: “It is you who have devoured the vineyard, the spoil of the poor is in your houses.

Az ÚR ítéletre hívja népe véneit és fejedelmeit: Hiszen ti lelegeltétek a szőlőt, szegénytől rabolt holmi van házaitokban.

Az Úr törvénybe megy népe véneivel és fejedelmivel: Hiszen ti lelegeltétek a szőlőt, szegénytől rablott marha van házaitokban:

What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Cu ce drept călcaţi voi în picioare pe poporul Meu şi apăsaţi pe săraci? – zice Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor.”

What do you mean by crushing my people, by grinding the face of the poor?” declares the Lord GOD of hosts.

Milyen dolog az, hogy népemet összezúzzátok, és a szegényeket összetöritek? – így szól az Úr, a Seregek URa.

Mi dolog, hogy népemet összezúzzátok, és a szegények orczáját összetöritek? ezt mondja az Úr, a seregeknek Ura.

Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

Domnul zice: „Pentru că fiicele Sionului sunt mândre şi umblă cu gâtul întins şi cu priviri pofticioase, pentru că păşesc mărunţel şi zornăie cu verigile de la picior –

The LORD said: Because the daughters of Zion are haughty and walk with outstretched necks, glancing wantonly with their eyes, mincing along as they go, tinkling with their feet,

Ezt mondja az ÚR: Mivel Sion leányai fölfuvalkodtak, és magasra tartott nyakkal járnak, szemükkel kacsingatnak, finomkodva lépkednek, és lábukkal csengést-bongást keltenek:

És szól az Úr: Mivel Sion leányai felfuvalkodtak, és felemelt nyakkal járnak, szemeikkel pillognak, és aprókat lépve járnak, és lábokkal nagy zengést bongást szereznek:

Therefore the LORD will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

Domnul va pleşuvi creştetul capului fiicelor Sionului, Domnul le va descoperi ruşinea.”

therefore the Lord will strike with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts.

megkopaszítja az ÚR Sion leányainak fejét, és fölfedi mezítelenségüket.

Megkopaszítja az Úr Sion leányainak fejtetőjét, és az ő szemérmöket megmezteleníti.

In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

În ziua aceea, Domnul va scoate verigile care le slujesc ca podoabă la picioare şi sorişorii, şi lunişoarele,

In that day the Lord will take away the finery of the anklets, the headbands, and the crescents;

Azon a napon eltávolítja az ÚR ékességeiket, lábpereceiket, fejdíszüket és a holdacskákat,

Ama napon eltávolítja az Úr az ő lábaik zengő ékességét, a napocskákat és holdacskákat,

The chains, and the bracelets, and the mufflers,

cerceii, brăţările şi maramele;

the pendants, the bracelets, and the scarves;

a fülbevalókat, a karpereceket és fátylakat,

A fülönfüggőket, a karpereczeket és a fátyolokat,

The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the tablets, and the earrings,

legăturile de pe cap, lănţişoarele de la picioare şi brâiele, cutiile cu mirosuri şi băierile descântate;

the headdresses, the armlets, the sashes, the perfume boxes, and the amulets;

a pártákat, a lábláncokat, az öveket, az illatos szelencéket és amuletteket,

A pártákat, a láblánczokat, az öveket, a jóillattartókat és az ereklyéket,

The rings, and nose jewels,

inelele şi verigile de la nas;

the signet rings and nose rings;

a gyűrűket és orrpereceket,

A gyűrűket és az orrpereczeket,

The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and the crisping pins,

hainele de sărbătoare şi cămăşile cele largi, mantiile şi pungile;

the festal robes, the mantles, the cloaks, and the handbags;

The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.

the mirrors, the linen garments, the turbans, and the veils.

a tükröket, a gyolcsingeket, a fejfedőket és a vállkendőket.

A tükröket, a gyolcsingeket, a főkötőket és a keczeléket:

And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.

Şi atunci, în loc de miros plăcut, va fi putoare; în loc de brâu, o funie; în loc de păr încreţit, un cap pleşuv; în loc de mantie largă, un sac strâmt; un semn de înfierare, în loc de frumuseţe.

Instead of perfume there will be rottenness; and instead of a belt, a rope; and instead of well-set hair, baldness; and instead of a rich robe, a skirt of sackcloth; and branding instead of beauty.

Akkor a balzsamillat helyén büdösség és az öv helyén kötél lesz, a bodorított haj helyén kopaszság, a szép köpeny helyén zsákruha, a szépség helyén pedig homlokra sütött bélyeg lesz.

És lesz a balzsamillat helyén büdösség, az öv helyén kötél, és a felfodrozott haj helyén kopaszság, a szép köpenynek helyén zsákruha, és a szépség helyén homlokra sütött bélyeg.

Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

Bărbaţii tăi vor cădea ucişi de sabie, şi vitejii tăi, în luptă.

Your men shall fall by the sword and your mighty men in battle.

Férfiaid fegyver által hullnak el és vitézeid harcban.

And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit upon the ground.

Porţile fiicei Sionului vor geme şi se vor jeli; şi ea va şedea despuiată pe pământ.

And her gates shall lament and mourn; empty, she shall sit on the ground.

Szomorkodnak és gyászolnak a kapukban, és kifosztva ülnek a földön.

[És sírnak és gyászolnak kapui, és ő elpusztíttatván, a földön ül;]

Hét asszony ragad meg egy férfit azon a napon, és azt mondja: A saját kenyerünket esszük, és a magunk ruhájába öltözünk, csak hadd viseljük nevedet! Vedd le rólunk gyalázatunkat!

[És megragad hét asszony egy férfit ama napon, mondván: A magunk kenyerét eszszük és a mi ruhánkba öltözködünk, csak hadd neveztessünk a te nevedről, és vedd le rólunk gyalázatunkat!]
