Íme, igazságosan uralkodik a király, és a fejedelmek törvényesen kormányoznak.

Ímé, igazság szerint uralkodik a király, és a fejedelmek fők lesznek az ítélettételben;

Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.

Atunci împăratul va împărăţi cu dreptate, şi voievozii vor cârmui cu nepărtinire.

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule in justice.

Mindegyik olyan lesz, mint rejtek a szél ellen, mint oltalom zivatar ellen, mint patakok a száraz vidéken, mint nagy kőszál árnyéka a szomjazó földön.

Olyan lesz mindegyik, mint a rejtek szél ellen, mint oltalom zivatar ellen, mint patakok száraz vidéken, mint nagy kőszál árnyéka a szomjúhozó földön.

And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

Fiecare va fi ca un adăpost împotriva vântului şi ca un loc de scăpare împotriva furtunii, ca nişte râuri de apă într-un loc uscat, ca umbra unei stânci mari într-un pământ ars de sete.

Each will be like a hiding place from the wind, a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

Nem lesz zárva többé a látók szeme, és a hallók füle figyelni fog.

És nem lesznek zárva többé a látóknak szemei, és a hallók fülei figyelmeznek;

And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

Ochii celor ce văd nu vor mai fi legaţi, şi urechile celor ce aud vor lua aminte.

Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention.

A hebehurgyák szíve fölfogja a tudományt, és a dadogók nyelve gyorsan és világosan szól.

A hebehurgyák szíve ismerni tanul, és a dadogóknak nyelve gyorsan és világosan szól.

The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

Inima celor uşuratici va pricepe şi va înţelege, şi limba gângavilor va vorbi iute şi desluşit.

The heart of the hasty will understand and know, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak distinctly.

Nem nevezik többé a bolondot nemesnek, és a csalárdot sem hívják nagylelkűnek.

The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

Nebunul nu se va mai numi ales la suflet, nici mişelul nu se va mai numi cu inimă largă.

The fool will no more be called noble, nor the scoundrel said to be honorable.

Mert a bolond csak bolondot beszél, és szívében aljasságot forral, hogy istentelenséget cselekedjék, és tévelygést hirdessen az ÚR ellen, hogy az éhező lelkét éhen hagyja, és a szomjazó italát elvegye.

Mert a bolond [csak] bolondot beszél, és az ő szíve hamisságot forral, hogy istentelenséget cselekedjék, és szóljon az Úr ellen tévelygést, hogy az éhező lelkét éhen hagyja, és a szomjazó italát elvegye.

For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

Căci nebunul spune nebunii, şi inima lui gândeşte rău, ca să lucreze în chip nelegiuit şi să spună neadevăruri împotriva Domnului, ca să lase lihnit sufletul celui flămând şi să ia băutura celui însetat.

For the fool speaks folly, and his heart is busy with iniquity, to practice ungodliness, to utter error concerning the LORD, to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied, and to deprive the thirsty of drink.

A csalárdnak csalárdak az eszközei, álnokságot tervel, hogy hazug beszéddel elveszítse az alázatosokat, még ha a szegény igazat szólna is.

The instruments also of the churl are evil: he deviseth wicked devices to destroy the poor with lying words, even when the needy speaketh right.

Armele mişelului sunt nimicitoare; el face planuri vinovate ca să piardă pe cel nenorocit prin cuvinte mincinoase, chiar când pricina săracului este dreaptă.

As for the scoundrel—his devices are evil; he plans wicked schemes to ruin the poor with lying words, even when the plea of the needy is right.

De a nemes lelkű nemes dolgokat tervel, és meg is marad a nemes dolgok mellett.

But the liberal deviseth liberal things; and by liberal things shall he stand.

Dar cel ales la suflet face planuri alese şi stăruie în planurile lui alese.

But he who is noble plans noble things, and on noble things he stands.

Ti gondtalan asszonyok, keljetek föl, halljátok szavam, és ti, elbizakodott leányzók, vegyétek fületekbe beszédemet!

Rise up, ye women that are at ease; hear my voice, ye careless daughters; give ear unto my speech.

Femei fără grijă, sculaţi-vă şi ascultaţi glasul meu! Fiice nepăsătoare, luaţi aminte la cuvântul meu!

Rise up, you women who are at ease, hear my voice; you complacent daughters, give ear to my speech.

Szűk esztendő múltán megháborodtok, ti elbizakodottak, mert véget ér a szüret, és gyümölcsszedés sem lesz.

Kevés idő multán megháborodtok ti elbizakodottak, mert elvész a szüret, és gyümölcsszedés sem lesz.

Many days and years shall ye be troubled, ye careless women: for the vintage shall fail, the gathering shall not come.

Într-un an şi câteva zile, veţi tremura, nepăsătoarelor; căci se va duce culesul viilor, şi strângerea poamelor nu va mai veni. –

In little more than a year you will shudder, you complacent women; for the grape harvest fails, the fruit harvest will not come.

Reszkessetek, ti gondtalanok, rettenjetek meg, ti elbizakodottak! Vetkőzzetek mezítelenre, és övezzétek föl ágyékotokat zsákruhával.

Tremble, ye women that are at ease; be troubled, ye careless ones: strip you, and make you bare, and gird sackcloth upon your loins.

Îngroziţi-vă, voi, cele fără grijă! Tremuraţi, nepăsătoarelor! Dezbrăcaţi-vă, dezgoliţi-vă şi încingeţi-vă coapsele cu haine de jale!

Tremble, you women who are at ease, shudder, you complacent ones; strip, and make yourselves bare, and tie sackcloth around your waist.

Verjétek melleteket a szép mezőkért, a termő szőlőkért,

Gyászolják az emlőket, a szép mezőket, a termő szőlőtőket.

They shall lament for the teats, for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine.

Bateţi-vă pieptul, aducându-vă aminte de frumuseţea câmpiilor şi de rodnicia viilor. –

Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,

népem földjéért, melyet tüske és tövis vert föl, és az örvendező városért és minden örömteli házért.

Népemnek földét tüske, tövis verte fel, és az örvendő városnak minden öröm-házait;

Upon the land of my people shall come up thorns and briers; yea, upon all the houses of joy in the joyous city:

Pe pământul poporului meu cresc spini şi mărăcini, chiar şi în toate casele de plăcere ale cetăţii celei vesele.

for the soil of my people growing up in thorns and briers, yes, for all the joyous houses in the exultant city.

A paloták elhagyottak lesznek, a város zaja elnémul, a torony és bástya barlanggá lesz örökre, ahol kedvére él a vadszamár, és nyájak legelésznek.

A paloták elhagyatvák, a város zaja elnémult, torony és bástya barlangokká lettek örökre, hol a vadszamár kedvére él, a nyájak meg legelnek.

Because the palaces shall be forsaken; the multitude of the city shall be left; the forts and towers shall be for dens for ever, a joy of wild asses, a pasture of flocks;

For the palace is forsaken, the populous city deserted; the hill and the watchtower will become dens forever, a joy of wild donkeys, a pasture of flocks;

Míg végül kiöntetik ránk a lélek a magasból, és a puszta termőfölddé lesz, a termőföld pedig erdőnek látszik.

Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest.

until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.

A pusztában jogosság lakik, és igazság honol a termőföldeken.

És lakozik a pusztában jogosság, és igazság fog ülni a termőföldön;

Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field.

Atunci nepărtinirea va locui în pustiu, şi neprihănirea îşi va avea locuinţa în pomet.

Then justice will dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.

Az igazság műve békesség, és az igazság nyugalmat és biztonságot munkál mindörökké.

És lesz az igazság műve békesség, és az igazság gyümölcse nyugalom és biztonság mindörökké.

And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

Lucrarea neprihănirii va fi pacea; roada neprihănirii: odihna şi liniştea pe vecie.

And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.

Békés hajlékban fog lakni népem, biztonságos sátrakban, gondtalan nyugalomban.

Népem békesség hajlékában lakozik, biztonság sátraiban, gondtalan nyugalomban.

And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;

Poporul meu va locui în locuinţa păcii, în case fără grijă şi în adăposturi liniştite.

My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

De jégeső hull, és ledől az erdő, és a város a mélybe süllyed!

De jégeső hull és megdől az erdő, és a város elsülyedve elsülyed!

When it shall hail, coming down on the forest; and the city shall be low in a low place.

Dar pădurea va fi prăbuşită sub grindină, şi cetatea, plecată adânc.

And it will hail when the forest falls down, and the city will be utterly laid low.

Boldogok vagytok ti, akik mindenütt víz mellett vethettek, és szabadjára engedhetitek az ökrök és szamarak lábát!

Oh boldogok ti, a kik minden vizek mellett vettek, és szabadon eresztitek a barmok és szamarak lábait!

Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass.

Ferice de voi, care semănaţi pretutindeni de-a lungul apelor şi care daţi drumul pretutindeni boului şi măgarului!

Happy are you who sow beside all waters, who let the feet of the ox and the donkey range free.
