The burden of the valley of vision. What aileth thee now, that thou art wholly gone up to the housetops?

Prorocie asupra văii vedeniilor. Ce este de vă suiţi cu toţii pe acoperişuri,

The oracle concerning the valley of vision. What do you mean that you have gone up, all of you, to the housetops,

Te lármával teli, zajos város, örvendező város, elesettjeidet nem fegyverrel ölték meg, és nem harcban hullottak el!

Te lármával teljes, zajos város, örvendező város, megöletteid nem fegyverrel ölettek meg, és nem harczon hullottak el!

Thou that art full of stirs, a tumultuous city, joyous city: thy slain men are not slain with the sword, nor dead in battle.

cetate gălăgioasă, plină de zarvă, cetate veselă? Morţii tăi nu vor pieri ucişi de sabie, nici nu vor muri luptând.

you who are full of shoutings, tumultuous city, exultant town? Your slain are not slain with the sword or dead in battle.

Hadnagyaid íjlövés nélkül mind elszaladtak, de elfogták őket. Mind megkötözték, akiket csak megtaláltak közületek, bár messzire akartak futni.

Hadnagyaid mind elszaladtak a kézív előtt, [de] megkötöztettek; a kik benned találtattak, mind megkötöztettek, [midőn] futni akartak messzire.

All thy rulers are fled together, they are bound by the archers: all that are found in thee are bound together, which have fled from far.

Ci toate căpeteniile tale fug împreună, sunt luaţi prinşi de arcaşi; toţi locuitorii tăi ajung deodată robi, în timp ce o iau la fugă în depărtare.

All your leaders have fled together; without the bow they were captured. All of you who were found were captured, though they had fled far away.

Ezért azt mondom: Ne nézzetek rám, hadd keseregjek sírva! Ne siessetek vigasztalni engem népem leányának romlása fölött.

Ezért mondom: Ne nézzetek reám, hadd kesergessem magamat sírással; ne siessetek vígasztalni engem, népem leánya romlása felett.

Therefore said I, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, labour not to comfort me, because of the spoiling of the daughter of my people.

De aceea zic: „Întoarceţi-vă privirile de la mine, lăsaţi-mă să plâng cu amar; nu stăruiţi să mă mângâiaţi pentru nenorocirea fiicei poporului meu!”

Therefore I said: “Look away from me; let me weep bitter tears; do not labor to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

Mert rémület, eltiprás és zavar napja jön az Úrtól, a Seregek URától a látomás völgyére: ledől a kőfal, és kiáltás hangzik a hegyek felé.

Mert rémülésnek és eltapodtatásnak és zavarnak napja [jő] Istentől, a seregeknek Urától a látás völgyére, a mely ledönti a kőfalat, és a hegyeken kiáltás hallatik.

For it is a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord GOD of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.

Căci este o zi de necaz, de zdrobire şi de învălmăşeală, trimisă de Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor în valea vedeniilor. Se dărâmă zidurile şi răsună ţipete de durere spre munte.

For the Lord GOD of hosts has a day of tumult and trampling and confusion in the valley of vision, a battering down of walls and a shouting to the mountains.

Élám fölveszi a tegezt, és jön harci szekéren emberekkel és lovasokkal, Kir pedig előszedi a pajzsot.

És Élám fölvette a tegezt, és [jő] szekeren emberekkel és lovagokkal, és Kir paizst meztelenít.

And Elam bare the quiver with chariots of men and horsemen, and Kir uncovered the shield.

Kedves völgyeid megtelnek harci szekerekkel, és lovasok nyomulnak a kapu felé.

And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.

Cele mai frumoase văi ale tale sunt pline de care, şi călăreţii se înşiruie de bătaie la porţile tale.

Your choicest valleys were full of chariots, and the horsemen took their stand at the gates.

Félretolják Júda védelmét, és azon a napon az Erdő-házának fegyverzetére figyelsz.

És fölfedi Júdának fátyolát, és tekintesz ama napon az erdő házának fegyverzetére,

And he discovered the covering of Judah, and thou didst look in that day to the armour of the house of the forest.

Cele din urmă şanţuri de întărire ale lui Iuda sunt silite, şi în ziua aceasta cercetezi tu armăturile din Casa Pădurii.

He has taken away the covering of Judah. In that day you looked to the weapons of the House of the Forest,

Ye have seen also the breaches of the city of David, that they are many: and ye gathered together the waters of the lower pool.

Vă uitaţi la spărturile cele multe făcute cetăţii lui David şi opriţi apele iazului de jos.

and you saw that the breaches of the city of David were many. You collected the waters of the lower pool,

Számba veszitek Jeruzsálem házait, és leromboltok néhány házat, hogy a kőfalat megerősíthessétek.

És megszámláljátok Jeruzsálem házait, és némely házat lerontotok, hogy a kőfalat megerősíthessétek;

And ye have numbered the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses have ye broken down to fortify the wall.

Număraţi casele Ierusalimului şi le stricaţi, ca să întăriţi zidul.

and you counted the houses of Jerusalem, and you broke down the houses to fortify the wall.

Víztárolót csináltok a két kőfal között a Régi-tó vizének, de nem tekintetek arra, aki ezt cselekedte, és nem látjátok meg, aki régen elvégezte ezt!

És árkot csináltok a két kőfal között a régi tó vizének; és nem tekintetek arra, a ki ezt cselekvé, és a ki régen elvégzé ezt, Őt nem látjátok!

Ye made also a ditch between the two walls for the water of the old pool: but ye have not looked unto the maker thereof, neither had respect unto him that fashioned it long ago.

Faceţi o cămară între cele două ziduri, pentru apele iazului celui vechi, dar nu vă uitaţi spre Cel ce a vrut aceste lucruri, nu vedeţi pe Cel ce demult le-a pregătit.

You made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool. But you did not look to him who did it, or see him who planned it long ago.

Az Úr, a Seregek URa azon a napon sírásra és gyászolásra, kopaszra nyírásra és zsákruhaöltésre hív.

És fölhív az Úr, a seregek Ura ama napon sírásra és gyászolásra, ti magatok megkopaszítására és gyászruha-öltésre,

And in that day did the Lord GOD of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth:

Şi totuşi Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor vă cheamă în ziua aceea să plângeţi şi să vă bateţi în piept, să vă radeţi capul şi să vă încingeţi cu sac.

In that day the Lord GOD of hosts called for weeping and mourning, for baldness and wearing sackcloth;

De ehelyett, íme, vigasság és öröm van, állatokat ölnek, juhokat vágnak, húsevés és borivás van: együnk, igyunk, mert holnap meghalunk!

És ímé öröm és vígasság; barmok ölése, juhok levágása, húsevés és borivás; együnk, igyunk, mert holnap meghalunk!

And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.

Dar iată, în schimb, veselie şi bucurie! Se înjunghie boi şi se taie oi, se mănâncă la carne şi se bea la vin – „Să mâncăm şi să bem, căci mâine vom muri!” –

and behold, joy and gladness, killing oxen and slaughtering sheep, eating flesh and drinking wine. “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”

Kijelentette a fülemnek a Seregek URa: Nem kaptok bocsánatot erre a bűnre, míg csak meg nem haltok – így szól az Úr, a Seregek URa.

És megjelenté magát füleimben a seregek Ura: Meg nem bocsáttatik e bűn tinéktek, míg meg nem haltok; szól az Úr, a seregek Ura.

And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Domnul oştirilor mi-a descoperit şi mi-a zis: „Nu, nelegiuirea aceasta nu vi se va ierta până nu veţi muri, zice Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor.”

The LORD of hosts has revealed himself in my ears: “Surely this iniquity will not be atoned for you until you die,” says the Lord GOD of hosts.

Így szól az Úr, a Seregek URa: Eredj, menj el a főemberhez, Sebnához, a királyi palota intézőjéhez, és mondd meg neki:

Így szólt az Úr, a seregek Ura: No, menj el a kormányzóhoz, Sébnához, a királyi ház főemberéhez, [és mondd meg néki:]

Thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say,

Aşa vorbeşte Domnul Dumnezeul oştirilor: „Du-te la curteanul acela, la Şebna, dregătorul casei împărăteşti, şi zi-i:

Thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, “Come, go to this steward, to Shebna, who is over the household, and say to him:

„Mi jogod van itt, és ki engedte meg neked, hogy sírt vágass itt magadnak? Magas helyen vágatod sírodat, és sziklába vésetsz hajlékot magadnak!

Mi dolgod itt, és ki lesz itten tied, hogy sírt vágatsz itten magadnak? mint a ki sírját magas helyen vágatja, és sziklába véset hajlékot magának!

What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock?

„Ce ai tu aici la tine şi pe cine ai aici, de-ţi sapi aici un mormânt?” El îşi sapă un mormânt sus pe înălţime, îşi scobeşte o locuinţă în stâncă!

What have you to do here, and whom have you here, that you have cut out here a tomb for yourself, you who cut out a tomb on the height and carve a dwelling for yourself in the rock?

Íme, az ÚR erősen megragad, ó, ember, és elhajít téged erős hajítással.

Ímé az Úr elhajít téged erős hajítással, és megragadván megragad,

Behold, the LORD will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.

Iată, Domnul te va azvârli cu o aruncătură puternică, te va învârti ca pe un ghem.

Behold, the LORD will hurl you away violently, O you strong man. He will seize firm hold on you

Összegöngyöl, mint egy gombolyagot, elhajít, mint egy labdát, nagyon messzi földre. Ott halsz meg, oda jutnak dicsőséges szekereid, te, urad házának gyalázata!

Hempelygetvén hempelyget, mint gombolyagot, mint labdát, nagy messze földre, ott halsz meg, oda [mennek] dicsőséged szekerei, te, urad házának gyalázata!

He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house.

Te va azvârli, te va azvârli ca pe o minge, pe un pământ întins, şi acolo vei muri, acolo vor veni carele tale cele strălucite, tu, ocara casei stăpânului tău!

and whirl you around and around, and throw you like a ball into a wide land. There you shall die, and there shall be your glorious chariots, you shame of your master’s house.

Kivetlek tisztségedből, és lerántalak hivatalodból.

És kivetlek állásodból és lerántlak helyedről.

And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down.

Vei fi izgonit din dregătoria ta şi te va smulge Domnul din locul tău.

I will thrust you from your office, and you will be pulled down from your station.

Azon a napon elhívom szolgámat, Eljákimot, Hilkijjá fiát,

És lesz ama napon, hogy elhívom szolgámat, Eliákimot, a Hilkiás fiát,

And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah:

„În ziua aceea, zice Domnul, voi chema pe robul Meu Eliachim, fiul lui Hilchia,

In that day I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah,

köntösödbe öltöztetem, öveddel megerősítem, és kezébe adom hatalmadat. Ő lesz atyja Jeruzsálem lakóinak és Júda házának.

S felöltöztetem őt öltözetedbe, és öveddel megerősítem, és uralmadat kezébe adom, és ő lesz atyjok Jeruzsálem lakosainak és a Júda házának;

And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah.

îl voi îmbrăca în tunica ta, îl voi încinge cu brâul tău şi voi da puterea ta în mâinile lui. El va fi un tată pentru locuitorii Ierusalimului şi pentru casa lui Iuda.

and I will clothe him with your robe, and will bind your sash on him, and will commit your authority to his hand. And he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem and to the house of Judah.

And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Voi pune pe umărul lui cheia casei lui David: când va deschide el, nimeni nu va închide, şi când va închide el, nimeni nu va deschide.

And I will place on his shoulder the key of the house of David. He shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Beverem őt biztos helyre, mint a szöget, és dicsőséges lesz trónja atyja házában.

S beverem őt, mint szeget erős helyre, és lészen dicsőséges székül az ő atyja házának;

And I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.

Îl voi împlânta ca pe un drug într-un loc tare şi va fi un scaun de slavă pentru casa tatălui său.

And I will fasten him like a peg in a secure place, and he will become a throne of honor to his father’s house.

Őrá függesztik atyja házának minden dicsőségét: utódait és ivadékait, a legkisebb edényt is az ivóedényektől az összes korsóig.

S reá függesztik atyja házának minden dicsőségét: fiakat és unokákat, minden kicsiny edényt, a csészeedényektől a tömlőknek minden edényeiig.

And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons.

Pe el se va sprijini toată slava casei tatălui său, odraslele alese şi de ocară, toate sculele cele mici, atât lighenele, cât şi vasele.

And they will hang on him the whole honor of his father’s house, the offspring and issue, every small vessel, from the cups to all the flagons.

Azon a napon – azt mondja a Seregek URa – kiesik a szög, amelyet biztos helyre vertek, letörik és leesik, a teher pedig, amely rajta volt, összetörik, mert az ÚR szólt.”

Ama napon, azt mondja a seregeknek Ura, kiesik a szeg, mely erős helyre veretett, és levágatik és leesik és összetörik a teher, mely rajta volt, mert az Úr mondá.

In that day, saith the LORD of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in the sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for the LORD hath spoken it.

În ziua aceea, zice Domnul oştirilor, drugul acela împlântat într-un loc tare va fi scos, va fi tăiat, şi va cădea, şi povara care era pe el va fi nimicită, căci Domnul a vorbit.”

In that day, declares the LORD of hosts, the peg that was fastened in a secure place will give way, and it will be cut down and fall, and the load that was on it will be cut off, for the LORD has spoken.”
