Jaj azoknak, akik Egyiptomba mennek segítségért, lovakra támaszkodnak, a szekerek sokaságában és a nagyon erős lovasokban bíznak, de nem néznek Izráel Szentjére, és nem keresik az URat!

Jaj nékik, a kik Égyiptomba mennek segítségért, lovakra támaszkodnak, és a szekerek sokaságában bíznak, és a nagyon erős lovagokban; és nem néznek Izráelnek Szentjére, és az Urat nem keresik.

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

Vai de cei ce se coboară în Egipt după ajutor, se bizuie pe cai şi se încred în mulţimea carelor şi în puterea călăreţilor, dar nu privesc spre Sfântul lui Israel şi nu caută pe Domnul!

Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD!

Ám ő is bölcs, és veszedelmet hoz, beszédeit nem változtatja meg. Hanem fölkel a gonoszok háza ellen és a gonosztevők segítői ellen.

De Ő is bölcs, és hoz veszedelmet, és beszédeit nem változtatja meg; hanem fölkel a gonoszoknak háza ellen és a bűnt cselekvők segítsége ellen.

Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of them that work iniquity.

Dar şi El este înţelept şi aduce nenorocirea, şi nu Îşi ia vorbele înapoi, ci Se ridică împotriva casei celor răi şi împotriva ajutorului celor ce săvârşesc nelegiuirea.

And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

Hiszen Egyiptom csak ember, és nem Isten, és lova is csak test és nem lélek. Ha kinyújtja kezét az ÚR, megtántorodik a segítő, elesik a megsegített, és együtt vesznek el.

Hiszen Égyiptom ember és nem Isten, és lovai hús és nem lélek, és ha az Úr kinyújtja kezét, megtántorodik a segítő, és elesik a megsegített, és együtt mind elvesznek.

Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

Căci egipteanul este om, nu Dumnezeu, şi caii lui sunt carne, nu duh. Doar mâna să-Şi întindă Domnul, şi ocrotitorul se va clătina, iar cel ocrotit va cădea, şi vor pieri cu toţii.

The Egyptians are man, and not God, and their horses are flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD stretches out his hand, the helper will stumble, and he who is helped will fall, and they will all perish together.

Mert így szólt hozzám az ÚR: Amint az oroszlán és az oroszlánkölyök morog a zsákmánya mellett, amikor összegyűlik ellenük a pásztorok serege, és nem retten meg kiáltásuktól, és nem ijed meg zajongásuktól: úgy száll alá a Seregek URa, hogy hadakozzék Sion hegyéért és halmáért!

Mert így szólott az Úr hozzám: A mint mormol az oroszlán és az oroszlánkölyök zsákmánya mellett, a mely ellen összehívatnak a pásztorok sereggel, és szavoktól ő meg nem retten, és meg nem ijed sokaságuktól: így száll alá a seregek Ura, hogy hadakozzék a Sion hegyén és halmán!

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

Căci aşa mi-a vorbit Domnul: „Cum mugeşte leul şi puiul de leu asupra prăzii, în ciuda tuturor păstorilor strânşi împotriva lui, şi nu se înspăimântă de glasul lor, nici nu se sperie de numărul lor, aşa Se va coborî şi Domnul oştirilor să lupte pe muntele Sionului şi pe dealul lui.

For thus the LORD said to me, “As a lion or a young lion growls over his prey, and when a band of shepherds is called out against him he is not terrified by their shouting or daunted at their noise, so the LORD of hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its hill.

Mint a repdeső madarak, úgy oltalmazza a Seregek URa Jeruzsálemet: oltalmazza és megszabadítja, kíméli és megmenti.

Mint repeső madarak, úgy oltalmazza a seregek Ura Jeruzsálemet, oltalmazván megszabadítja, kimélvén megmenti.

As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

Cum îşi întind păsările aripile peste puii lor, aşa va ocroti Domnul oştirilor Ierusalimul, îl va ocroti şi-l va izbăvi, îl va cruţa şi-l va mântui.”

Like birds hovering, so the LORD of hosts will protect Jerusalem; he will protect and deliver it; he will spare and rescue it.”

Térjetek vissza hozzá, akitől oly nagyon elpártoltatok, Izráel fiai!

Térjetek vissza [hát] hozzá, a kitől oly nagyon elpártolátok, Izráelnek fiai!

Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

Întoarceţi-vă la Acela de la care v-aţi abătut mult, copii ai lui Israel!

Turn to him from whom people have deeply revolted, O children of Israel.

Mert azon a napon mindenki megveti ezüstbálványait és aranybálványait, amelyeket bűnös kezeitek készítettek.

Mivel ama napon megveti mindenki ezüst bálványait és arany bálványait, a melyeket kezeitek csináltak néktek bűnre.

For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

Căci în ziua aceea, fiecare îşi va lepăda idolii de argint şi de aur, pe care vi i-aţi făcut cu mâinile voastre nelegiuite.

For in that day everyone shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold, which your hands have sinfully made for you.

Elesik Asszíria, de nem férfiak kardjától, nem ember kardja emészti meg azt. Menekülnie kell a kard elől, és ifjai robotosokká lesznek.

És elesik Assiria, nem férfiú kardjától, és nem ember kardja emészti meg azt; és fut egy kard előtt, és ifjai adófizetők lesznek;

Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.

„Şi asirianul va cădea ucis de o sabie, dar nu a unui om; îl va nimici o sabie, dar nu este a unui om; va fugi de sabie, şi tinerii lui războinici vor fi robiţi.

“And the Assyrian shall fall by a sword, not of man; and a sword, not of man, shall devour him; and he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be put to forced labor.

Kőszála rettegve menekül, és fejedelmei rémülten futnak el a zászlótól. Így szól az ÚR, akinek tüze a Sionon van és kemencéje Jeruzsálemben.

És kőszála félelem miatt menekül, és a zászlótól fejedelmei elfutnak, szól az Úr, a kinek tüze Sionban van, és kemenczéje Jeruzsálemben.

And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

Stânca lui se va topi de groază, şi căpeteniile lui vor tremura înaintea steagului – zice Domnul, care Îşi are focul în Sion, şi cuptorul, în Ierusalim.”

His rock shall pass away in terror, and his officers desert the standard in panic,” declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
