At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

În acelaşi timp, Merodac-Baladan, fiul lui Baladan, împăratul Babilonului, a trimis o scrisoare şi un dar lui Ezechia, pentru că aflase de boala şi însănătoşirea lui.

At that time Merodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent envoys with letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick and had recovered.

Ezékiás megörült azoknak, és megmutatta nekik kincstárát: az ezüstöt, az aranyat, a fűszereket, a drága keneteket, egész fegyvertárát és mindazt, ami kincstárában található volt. Semmi sem volt palotájában és egész birodalmában, amit meg ne mutatott volna nekik Ezékiás.

És örvende rajtok Ezékiás, és megmutatá nékik tárházát, az ezüstöt, az aranyat, a fűszereket, a drága kenetet, s egész fegyvertárát, és mindent, a mi kincsei közt található volt. Semmi nem volt, a mit meg nem mutatott volna nékik Ezékiás házában és egész birodalmában.

And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah shewed them not.

Ezechia s-a bucurat şi a arătat trimişilor locul unde erau lucrurile lui de preţ, argintul şi aurul, miresmele şi untdelemnul de preţ, toată casa lui de arme şi tot ce se afla în vistieriile lui: n-a rămas nimic în casa şi în ţinuturile lui pe care să nu li-l fi arătat.

And Hezekiah welcomed them gladly. And he showed them his treasure house, the silver, the gold, the spices, the precious oil, his whole armory, all that was found in his storehouses. There was nothing in his house or in all his realm that Hezekiah did not show them.

Ekkor Ézsaiás próféta eljött Ezékiás királyhoz, és azt kérdezte tőle: Mit mondtak ezek az emberek, és honnan jöttek hozzád? Ezékiás így felelt: Messze földről jöttek hozzám, Babilónból.

És eljött Ésaiás, a próféta, Ezékiás királyhoz, és monda néki: Mit szólának ez emberek, és honnan jöttek te hozzád? És monda Ezékiás: Messze földről jöttek hozzám, Bábelből.

Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

Prorocul Isaia a venit apoi la împăratul Ezechia şi l-a întrebat: „Ce au spus oamenii aceia şi de unde au venit la tine?” Ezechia a răspuns: „Au venit la mine dintr-o ţară depărtată, din Babilon.”

Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and said to him, “What did these men say? And from where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come to me from a far country, from Babylon.”

Majd Ézsaiás ezt kérdezte: Mit láttak a házadban? Ezékiás így felelt: Mindent láttak, ami csak a házamban van, semmi sincs, amit meg ne mutattam volna nekik kincstáramban.

És monda: Mit látának házadban? És monda Ezékiás: Mindent láttak, a mi csak házamban van, semmi nincs, a mit meg nem mutattam volna nékik kincseim közül.

Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shewed them.

Isaia a mai zis: „Ce au văzut în casa ta?” Ezechia a răspuns: „Au văzut tot ce este în casa mea: n-a rămas nimic în vistieriile mele pe care să nu li-l fi arătat.”

He said, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing in my storehouses that I did not show them.”

Then said Isaiah to Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:

Atunci Isaia a zis lui Ezechia: „Ascultă cuvântul Domnului oştirilor:

Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD of hosts:

„Íme, eljön majd a nap, amikor mindazt elviszik Babilónba, ami a házadban van, és amit elődeid gyűjtöttek mindmáig. Nem marad meg semmi, azt mondja az ÚR!

Ímé napok jőnek, és elvitetik, valami házadban van, és a mit csak e mai napig gyűjtöttek eleid, Bábelbe; nem marad semmi meg, ezt mondja az Úr!

Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store until this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

„Iată, vor veni vremurile când vor duce în Babilon tot ce este în casa ta şi tot ce au strâns părinţii tăi până în ziua de azi; nimic nu va rămâne, zice Domnul.

Behold, the days are coming, when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up till this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left, says the LORD.

Fiaid közül is, akik tőled származnak, akiket nemzel, el fognak hurcolni egyeseket, és udvari szolgák lesznek Babilón királyának palotájában.”

És fiaid közül, a kik tőled származnak, a kiket te nemzesz, el fognak hurczolni, és lesznek komornyikok Bábel királyának palotájában.

And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

Şi vor lua din fiii tăi ieşiţi din tine, pe care-i vei naşte, ca să-i facă fameni în casa împăratului Babilonului.”

And some of your own sons, who will come from you, whom you will father, shall be taken away, and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”

Akkor azt mondta Ezékiás Ézsaiásnak: Jó az ÚR beszéde, amelyet hirdettél! Mert azt gondolta: Az én napjaimban még béke és biztonság lesz.

Akkor monda Ezékiás Ésaiásnak: Jóságos az Úrnak beszéde, a melyet te szóltál! és monda: Csak napjaimban legyen béke és állandóság!

Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, For there shall be peace and truth in my days.

Ezechia a răspuns lui Isaia: „Cuvântul Domnului pe care l-ai rostit este bun. Căci, a adăugat el, măcar în timpul vieţii mele va fi pace şi linişte!”

Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “There will be peace and security in my days.”
