Azután Ádám ismerte feleségét, Évát, aki fogant méhében, és megszülte Kaint, és azt mondta: férfit kaptam az ÚRtól.

Azután ismeré Ádám az ő feleségét Évát, a ki fogad vala méhében és szűli vala Kaint, és monda: Nyertem férfiat az Úrtól.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.

Adam s-a împreunat cu nevasta sa Eva; ea a rămas însărcinată şi a născut pe Cain. Şi a zis: „Am căpătat un om cu ajutorul Domnului!”

Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, saying, “I have gotten a man with the help of the LORD.”

Majd ismét szült: annak testvérét, Ábelt. Ábel juhpásztor lett, Kain pedig földműves.

És ismét szűlé annak atyjafiát, Ábelt. És Ábel juhok pásztora lőn, Kain pedig földmívelő.

And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

A mai născut şi pe fratele său Abel. Abel era cioban, iar Cain era plugar.

And again, she bore his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain a worker of the ground.

Egy idő múlva pedig Kain ajándékot vitt az ÚRnak a föld gyümölcséből.

Lőn pedig idő multával, hogy Kain ajándékot vive az Úrnak a föld gyümölcséből.

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

După o bucată de vreme, Cain a adus Domnului o jertfă de mâncare din roadele pământului.

In the course of time Cain brought to the LORD an offering of the fruit of the ground,

Ábel is vitt juhainak első elléséből, éspedig azok kövérjéből. És az ÚR rátekintett Ábelra és az ő ajándékára.

És Ábel is vive az ő juhainak első fajzásából és azoknak kövérségéből. És tekinte az Úr Ábelre és az ő ajándékára.

And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

Abel a adus şi el o jertfă de mâncare din oile întâi născute ale turmei lui şi din grăsimea lor. Domnul a privit cu plăcere spre Abel şi spre jertfa lui;

and Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering,

Kainra pedig és az ő ajándékára nem tekintett, ezért Kain nagy haragra gerjedt, és lehorgasztotta a fejét.

Kainra pedig és az ő ajándékára nem tekinte, miért is Kain haragra gerjede és fejét lecsüggeszté.

But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

dar spre Cain şi spre jertfa lui n-a privit cu plăcere. Cain s-a mâniat foarte tare şi i s-a posomorât faţa.

but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.

Erre az ÚR így szólt Kainhoz: Miért gerjedtél haragra, és miért horgasztod le a fejedet?

És monda az Úr Kainnak: Miért gerjedtél haragra? és miért csüggesztéd le fejedet?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

Şi Domnul a zis lui Cain: „Pentru ce te-ai mâniat şi pentru ce ţi s-a posomorât faţa?

The LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen?

Hiszen ha jól cselekszel, emelt fővel járhatsz. Ha pedig nem jól cselekszel, a bűn az ajtó előtt leselkedik, és rád vágyakozik. De te uralkodjál rajta!

Hiszen, ha jól cselekszel, emelt fővel járhatsz; ha pedig nem jól cselekszel, a bűn az ajtó előtt leselkedik, és reád van vágyódása; de te uralkodjál rajta.

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Nu-i aşa? Dacă faci bine, vei fi bine primit; dar dacă faci rău, păcatul pândeşte la uşă; dorinţa lui se ţine după tine, dar tu să-l stăpâneşti.”

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, and you must rule over it.”

Azután beszélt Kain Ábellal, a testvérével. És amikor a mezőn voltak, Kain Ábelra, a testvérére támadt, és megölte.

És szól s beszél vala Kain Ábellel, az ő atyjafiával. És lőn, mikor a mezőn valának, támada Kain Ábelre az ő atyjafiára, és megölé őt.

And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

Însă Cain a zis fratelui său Abel: „Haidem să ieşim la câmp.” Dar pe când erau la câmp, Cain s-a ridicat împotriva fratelui său Abel şi l-a omorât.

Cain spoke to Abel his brother. And when they were in the field, Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.

Akkor az ÚR megkérdezte Kaint: Hol van Ábel, a testvéred? Ő pedig ezt felelte: Nem tudom. Avagy őrizője vagyok én a testvéremnek?

És monda az Úr Kainnak: Hol van Ábel a te atyádfia? Ő pedig monda: Nem tudom, avagy őrizője vagyok-é én az én atyámfiának?

And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother's keeper?

Domnul a zis lui Cain: „Unde este fratele tău Abel?” El a răspuns: „Nu ştiu. Sunt eu păzitorul fratelui meu?”

Then the LORD said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know; am I my brother’s keeper?”

De az ÚR így szólt: Mit cselekedtél? Testvéred vére kiált hozzám a földről.

Monda pedig [az Úr]: Mit cselekedtél? A te atyádfiának vére kiált én hozzám a földről.

And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Şi Dumnezeu a zis: „Ce ai făcut? Glasul sângelui fratelui tău strigă din pământ la Mine.

And the LORD said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying to me from the ground.

Most azért átkozott légy, kitaszítva a földről, mely megnyitotta száját, hogy befogadja testvéred vérét a kezedből.

Mostan azért átkozott légy e földön, mely megnyitotta az ő száját, hogy befogadja a te atyádfiának vérét, a te kezedből.

And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand;

Acum blestemat eşti tu, izgonit din ogorul acesta, care şi-a deschis gura ca să primească din mâna ta sângele fratelui tău!

And now you are cursed from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand.

Mikor a földet műveled, ne adja az többé neked termőerejét; bujdosó és vándorló légy a földön.

Mikor a földet míveled, ne adja az többé néked az ő termő erejét, bujdosó és vándorló légy a földön.

When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

Când vei lucra pământul, să nu-ţi mai dea bogăţia lui. Pribeag şi fugar să fii pe pământ.”

When you work the ground, it shall no longer yield to you its strength. You shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth.”

Akkor ezt mondta Kain az ÚRnak: Nagyobb az én büntetésem, mint amit el tudnék hordozni.

Akkor monda Kain az Úrnak: Nagyobb az én büntetésem, hogysem elhordozhatnám.

And Cain said unto the LORD, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Cain a zis Domnului: „Pedeapsa mea e prea mare ca s-o pot suferi.

Cain said to the LORD, “My punishment is greater than I can bear.

Íme, elűzöl ma engem e föld színéről, és színed elől el kell rejtőznöm. Bujdosó és vándorló leszek a földön, és akkor bárki, aki rám talál, megölhet engem.

Ímé elűzöl engem ma e földnek színéről, és a te színed elől el kell rejtőznöm; bujdosó és vándorló leszek a földön, és akkor akárki talál reám, megöl engemet.

Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

Iată că Tu mă izgoneşti azi de pe faţa pământului; eu va trebui să mă ascund de faţa Ta şi să fiu pribeag şi fugar pe pământ; şi oricine mă va găsi, mă va omorî.”

Behold, you have driven me today away from the ground, and from your face I shall be hidden. I shall be a fugitive and a wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me.”

De az ÚR azt felelte neki: Sőt inkább, aki megöli Kaint, hétszeresen megbűnhődik. És megbélyegezte az ÚR Kaint, hogy senki se ölje meg, aki rátalál.

És monda néki az Úr: Sőt inkább, aki megöléndi Kaint, hétszerte megbüntettetik. És megbélyegzé az Úr Kaint, hogy senki meg ne ölje, a ki rátalál.

And the LORD said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the LORD set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.

Domnul i-a zis: „Nicidecum; ci dacă va omorî cineva pe Cain, Cain să fie răzbunat de şapte ori.” Şi Domnul a hotărât un semn pentru Cain, ca oricine îl va găsi să nu-l omoare.

Then the LORD said to him, “Not so! If anyone kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the LORD put a mark on Cain, lest any who found him should attack him.

És elment Kain az ÚR színe elől, és letelepedett Nód földjén, Édentől keletre.

És elméne Kain az Úr színe elől, és letelepedék Nód földén, Édentől keletre.

And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

Apoi, Cain a ieşit din faţa Domnului şi a locuit în ţara Nod, la răsărit de Eden.

Then Cain went away from the presence of the LORD and settled in the land of Nod, east of Eden.

Azután Kain ismerte a feleségét, aki fogant méhében, és megszülte Énókot. És amikor egy várost épített, a fiáról Énóknak nevezte el.

És ismeré Kain az ő feleségét, az pedig fogada méhében, és szűlé Hánókhot. És építe várost, és nevezé azt az ő fiának nevéről Hánókhnak.

And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

Cain s-a împreunat cu nevasta sa; ea a rămas însărcinată şi a născut pe Enoh. El a început apoi să zidească o cetate şi a pus acestei cetăţi numele fiului său Enoh.

Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. When he built a city, he called the name of the city after the name of his son, Enoch.

Énók fia Irád lett, ő nemzette Mehújáélt, Mehújáél pedig nemzette Metusáélt, és Metusáél nemzette Lámeket.

És lett Hánókhnak fia, Irád: És Irád nemzé Mekhujáelt: Mekhujáel pedig nemzé Methusáelt, és Methusáel nemzé Lámekhet.

And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.

Enoh a fost tatăl lui Irad; Irad a fost tatăl lui Mehuiael; Mehuiael a fost tatăl lui Metuşael; şi Metuşael a fost tatăl lui Lameh.

To Enoch was born Irad, and Irad fathered Mehujael, and Mehujael fathered Methushael, and Methushael fathered Lamech.

Lámek pedig két feleséget vett magának: az egyik neve Ádá volt, a másiké Cillá.

Lámekh pedig vett magának két feleséget: az egyiknek neve Háda, a másiknak neve Czilla.

And Lamech took unto him two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

Lameh şi-a luat două neveste: numele uneia era Ada, şi numele celeilalte era Ţila.

And Lamech took two wives. The name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah.

Ádá szülte Jábált. Ő volt a sátorban lakók és a pásztorok atyja.

És szűlé Háda Jábált. Ez volt atyjok a sátorban-lakóknak, és a barompásztoroknak.

And Adah bare Jabal: he was the father of such as dwell in tents, and of such as have cattle.

Ada a născut pe Iabal: el a fost tatăl celor ce locuiesc în corturi şi păzesc vitele.

Adah bore Jabal; he was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock.

Testvérének pedig Jubál volt a neve. Ő volt az atyja minden lantosnak és síposnak.

Az ő atyjafiának pedig Jubál vala neve: ez volt atyja minden lantosnak és síposnak.

And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

Numele fratelui său era Iubal: el a fost tatăl tuturor celor ce cântă cu lăuta şi cu cavalul.

His brother’s name was Jubal; he was the father of all those who play the lyre and pipe.

Cillá pedig Tubálkaint szülte, mindenféle réz- és vasszerszám kovácsolóját; és Tubálkain húgát, Naamát.

Czilla pedig szűlé Tubálkaint, mindenféle réz- és vasszerszámok kovácsolóját: és Tubálkain hugát, Nahamát.

And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain was Naamah.

Ţila, de partea ei, a născut şi ea pe Tubal-Cain, făuritorul tuturor uneltelor de aramă şi de fier. Sora lui Tubal-Cain era Naama.

Zillah also bore Tubal-cain; he was the forger of all instruments of bronze and iron. The sister of Tubal-cain was Naamah.

Akkor ezt mondta Lámek a feleségeinek: Ádá és Cillá, hallgassatok a szavamra, Lámek feleségei, halljátok beszédemet: embert öltem, mert megsebzett, ifjat öltem, mert megütött.

Akkor monda Lámekh az ő feleségeinek: Oh Háda és Czilla, hallgassatok szómra, Lámekh feleségei, halljátok beszédem: embert öltem, mert megsebzett; ifjat öltem, mert megütött.

And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

Lameh a zis nevestelor sale: „Ada şi Ţila, ascultaţi glasul meu! Nevestele lui Lameh, asculaţi cuvântul meu! Am omorât un om pentru rana mea şi un tânăr pentru vânătăile mele.

Lamech said to his wives: “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; you wives of Lamech, listen to what I say: I have killed a man for wounding me, a young man for striking me.

Ha hétszeres a bosszú Kainért, hetvenhétszeres az Lámekért.

Ha hétszeres a bosszú Kainért, hetvenhétszeres az Lámekhért.

If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

Cain va fi răzbunat de şapte ori, iar Lameh de şaptezeci de ori câte şapte.”

If Cain’s revenge is sevenfold, then Lamech’s is seventy-sevenfold.”

Ádám pedig megint ismerte a feleségét, és az fiút szült neki, akit Sétnek nevezett, mert azt mondta: Másik magzatot adott nekem Isten Ábel helyett, akit Kain megölt.

Ádám pedig ismét ismeré az ő feleségét, és az szűle néki fiat, és nevezé annak nevét Séthnek: mert adott [úgymond,] énnékem az Isten más magot Ábel helyett, kit megöle Kain.

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

Adam s-a împreunat iarăşi cu nevasta sa; ea a născut un fiu şi i-a pus numele Set; „căci”, a zis ea, „Dumnezeu mi-a dat o altă sămânţă în locul lui Abel, pe care l-a ucis Cain.”

And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and called his name Seth, for she said, “God has appointed for me another offspring instead of Abel, for Cain killed him.”

Sétnek is született egy fia, akit Énósnak nevezett el. Akkor kezdték segítségül hívni az ÚR nevét.

Séthnek is született fia, és nevezé annak nevét Énósnak. Akkor kezdték segítségül hívni az Úrnak nevét.

And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Lui Set i s-a născut şi lui un fiu şi i-a pus numele Enos. Atunci au început oamenii să cheme Numele Domnului.

To Seth also a son was born, and he called his name Enosh. At that time people began to call upon the name of the LORD.
